Little Monk climbed into her laps and she put the phone away.

"Yes my little darling, what’s wrong? Do you want mummy to carry you?" she asked him in a soft voice while she tenderly rubbed his back.

"Mmm." Little monk pointed to his baby bag which usually contained his snacks, toys and new tablet which Muyang bought for him so that he could study.

After observing that his son seemed to have a high IQ and interest in numbers and puzzles, Muyang told Wenzhe to buy the tab and he downloaded such educational videos on it. Of course, Chi Lian added the toddler video like nursery rhymes, cartoons, movies and the like.

How could her baby’s mind fry because it was always filled with numbers and scientific knowledge? Besides all work and no play made Jack a dull boy, little monk would have to play by force.

At the moment since her baby wanted his baby bag, she brought it close and opened it for him.

Chi Lian indulgently fed him with so much love in her eyes. She held the bottle of milk to his mouth and patted his chest as he fed.

"He can hold the bottle on his own." Muyang said after scoffing. "Boys should be independent."

"Hmph, why should my baby work when his mother is right here?" she retaliated.

Muyang was such a hypocrite, he was very strict when it came to little monk and yet Mei-Mei was indulged in every way possible. In fact Chi Lian wanted to complain about how much they were all spoiling her endlessly.

She did not want her daughter to grow up and become spoiled in the future like that Miss Chu.

While sucking on his bottle, little monk gave his father an unimpressed glare before scooting around and turning his back to him.

Muyang looked so shocked and speechless. His son really understood almost everything he said and he was very good at taking revenge in small ways. Just look at the way he was already giving him the cold shoulder because he wanted him to hold his own bottle.

"Pfffftt." Chi Lian laughed at the sour look on Muyang’s face. He deserved it, who told him to irritate her baby.

"He is so young and yet he is already rebellious." Muyang mumbled. "Like mother like son."

"What??? Muyang, what did you say?" Chi Lian yelled at him with a sharp look in her eyes.

"That I love you." Muyang quickly lied. "I said I love mother and son."

Chi Lian pouted. Did Muyang really think that she had not heard him? He had just called mother and son trouble makers.

"Baby, when you grow up you must take your father down a peg, get justice for your mother." She whispered these loudly so that Muyang could hear her.

Little monk turned his head around and glared at his father briefly before turning back to look at his tablet.

To Muyang, his son’s look meant, ’Father, this grievance will be remembered.’
