T4 was right, it would be best in fact if all the children forgot about their horrific ordeal in this place. She would wipe all their memories.

When she reached the real exit point, she handed the children to her brother who was waiting for her there impatiently. When she found him, he was pacing and checking his watch.

"Finally, you are back." He exhaled with relief.

"Where is everyone else?" she asked him as she looked around.

"The children have all been evacuated; Muyang and the rest of the team went to our original point of entrance where ambulances are waiting to take all the children to People’s Memorial hospital. Rumor has it that the old master of the Jun family bought the hospital apparently just in case hid grandson was found in bad condition."

She nodded, this was news to her but it was good news her baby did look slightly malnourished, he needed a real doctor to look him over. It was really good to have money; one could buy an entire hospital at the snap of his or her hands.

When would she have such money? She wondered.

"Does that mean everyone is off the school grounds?" she asked. It was time for that big explosion which would bring the military rushing in. What she had done was buy some chemicals from the mall and poured them in the lab, all T4 had to was hack an electrical device, cause a small spark and everything would go boom.

"Your dog refuses to leave without you, he is still up there with old Tiger and ground mole." He answered with an eye roll.

She got her radio and said, "The mission has been accomplished, everyone that is not yet in the sewer please make your way down there, we are leaving."

"Boss," Old tiger’s voice came through the radio, "The issue is not leaving, it’s Blackguard, he is refusing to go without the female dog he picked up."

"What are you talking about?" she asked. She could hear them laughing up there.

"Uhm, boss I think it will be best if you come up here and convince him." Old tiger said.

She climbed up the steps to see what was going on. Up there, at the edge she found her men, Blackguard and a female dog which was looking at Blackguard....Chi Lian wondered if the word love could be used to refer to animals but that’s what she was seeing.

Could dogs fall in love?

"Blackguard, it’s time to go home." She said while rubbing his head affectionately. "This place is about to blow up."

Only around four minutes were left on the clock to the explosion.

Black guard responded by barking twice to mean that he understood but then he looked at the female dog and licked it.

"Boss, I think he has found himself a wife." Old tiger said with a chuckle.

She glared at him and he looked away. Blackguard whined and looked at her with sorrowful eyes. The female dog turned over and presented its stomach for her. Was it asking for belly rubs and trying to convince her that it was adorable? What happened to T4’s description of brutish dogs? Blackguard whined again and rubbed his head against her in plea.

Chi Lian wondered why she now seemed to be the evil mother in law who was trying to separate her son from the woman he loved.

"Let’s just go." She said, "All of us." She emphasized while looking at Blackguard.

When old tiger tried to tie the rope around Blackguard, he refused and pushed the female dog forward first.

"Ho!" Chi Lian scoffed what a good husband he was?

In that way, the female dog went first, Blackguard followed and then the rest of the team made their way down. No sooner had they moved away than a loud explosion went off with a bang that was prominent enough to wake up the entire Imperial capital city. The effect was so big that the ground shook for a few seconds, as if an earth quake had just happened.

That would be enough to for the military to come in. She was sure the news would report it as a terror attack. Chi Lian was no fool; her journalists were close by, ready to get the scoop before others.

"Blackguard, you almost got us killed because you wanted a wife. Will you die if you are single like the rest of us?" Old tiger grumbled.

Black guard barked four times in response. If he could talk, he was probably saying, "Yes I did, so what, Is it my fault that I have found a wife and you don’t have one?" That’s what Chi Lian thought anyway.

"Chi-Chi, we all just heard an explosion, there is smoke coming from that place, are you okay?" Muyang’s voice came through the radio.

"I am okay, we are heading out of the sewers now." she answered.

"Oh thank God, I was so worried about you. Come here quickly, I am waiting for you." He answered.

"Hmm, I am coming, I will be with you soon don’t worry." She replied with a broad smile.

"Hey," a loud angry voice belonging to Chi Wei came in, "We all have access to this radio, and we can hear you. We are also down here, why are you only checking on her? Don’t you have each other’s personal phone number?"

"Get a girlfriend and she will check on you." Muyang replied coldly.

The people who had access to these radios laughed. Now that the rescue operation was carried out successfully, everyone was in a good mood.

"Yes Chi Wei, why don’t you have a girlfriend?" Mama Chi’s voice was heard. Chi Lian had bought these radios cheaply from the mall so all the Jun’s and the Chi’s had one, including those who did not physically go on the rescue operation.

"Seriously, mum why are you embarrassing me like this, I am a grown man." He answered.

"Mr. grown man, we have never seen any of your girlfriends, all the girls in your sister’s company have been making eyes at you but you are acting blind. You and your father only hire men to work for you in the toy company. Chi Wei, are you gay?" Mama Chi insistently asked.

Another round of laughter was heard from different radios.

"Seriously mum, stop it, other people can here you. Am I the only single son you have? Half of the men using these radios are single. I don’t think their mothers are scolding them for it." He was not yet thirty, he still had a lot of time to find a wife.

"Mother, even Blackguard has found a wife, we are coming back with her right now. It’s really amazing." Chi Lian giggled as she threw her brother under the bus.

"Wow, Chi Wei, even dogs can find wives but you can’t. Maybe I should look for the mothers’ phone numbers of all those men using these radios so that we meet and talk about how to marry our sons off." She replied. Her son always avoided this conversation with her, now that she had a chance to bring it up, she would not drop it easily.

That was the end of the laughter. Suddenly, Chi Lian noticed that a large number of the radio signals had significantly gone off. Mama Chi’s threat had scared most of the men away, the single ones anyway.

"Cowards." She laughed.
