Chapter 197: She is back.

With no one around, she took off her mask just before she set her bike to near maximum speed, feeling the urgent need to get out of this town as soon as possible. The one thing she felt quite sad about was her brief thought to buy the Li family sugar factory which she heard was on a decline . Using the sugarcanes in the virtual arm, she was quite sure that she could manufacture premium high quality sugar. Unfortunately, now was not the right time for it, there were more urgent things waiting. Perhaps after settling everything, she would return or send someone to buy it for her.

"T4, call Muyang." She said.

She set the motorcycle to auto pilot, leaving it under the control of T4. The phone dialed for four seconds before he picked up.

"Chi-Chi," he said her name immediately in what sounded like a very exhausted voice.

"Muyang, I saw your message, who did you find?"

"We found Mu Qingzi; I will tell you all about it when you come back. You should return, you went to Xunwai to find her and we have found her. Come home already."

"I am on my way." She answered. "Why do you sound so exhausted?" she asked out of concern. Was it the search for their son was taking a toll on him?

"I have been sleeping for only two hours a night, every time I close my eyes, I see him Chi-Chi. All I picture is the worst case scenario; I have been researching some of these labs that did such research in the past on child geniuses in the Empire and the Western world. Its terrible Chi-Chi, some of them used electoral shock therapy and other torture methods to see how the genius brain reacts to different things. They wanted those children to ignore and tolerate pain in order to be better loyal soldiers. The experiments were so inhumane that they were outlawed in the entire world. Some nations and organizations however are still secretly carrying out such research. All I keep thinking about is what if Ouyang used such methods on our son? That’s why I can’t sleep, we need to find him."

"And we will Muyang; we are going to find our son. I am very confident in both of our abilities." She reassured him. With T4 as her helper and the money plus connections of the Jun family how could she fail to find him?

She could hear Muyang sigh loudly thoroughly the phone. He was probably massaging his temples too.

"How far out are you? Are you going home or to the office?" He inquired.

"I think it’s a waste for me to go to the office at this time, I am heading home. I could come to your office though; you can catch me up on everything there."

"Come to my office, we will go home together." He said.

"Okay, see you in around thirty minutes." She said and hung up.

Within record time, she arrived at the head office of Jun investments. When she got off her bike, she saw Wenzhe walking towards her, he quickly ushered her into the building straight to Muyang’s office and he ordered a secretary to bring her some hot milk.

Muyang, upon setting his eyes on her came up from behind his desk and wrapped her in an airtight hug.

"It’s so good to see you." He said in a hoarse voice.

"I am covered in snowflakes." She said in response. "But it’s good to see you too." She added with a smile. She wrapped her hands around him and returned his embrace enthusiastically. They stayed that way for a while, just quietly holding each other.

"Mmm, Mmm." Wenzhe cleared his throat twice, informing them that he was here without saying the actual words.

The embracing couple steeped apart and Muyang glared at Wenzhe, "Why are you still here?" he asked unhappily.

"Young master, I brought milk for the young madam but I have nowhere to pass because the two of you are blocking the entrance." He replied nervously.

He knew that Muyang did not like anyone getting in between his personal time with Chi Lian. Would he be angry with him?

Chi Lian solved the small issue by stepping aside and pulling Muyang along with her. They sat together in one chair and waited for Wenzhe to leave before they could start talking.

"What happened?" Muyang immediately touched her face worriedly. "How did you get injured, did someone hit you?" his tone was sharper and more demanding.

"No, I bumped into a door." She quickly lied.

"Chi-Chi..." he called angrily, "Don’t lie to me."

"Where is Mei-Mei?" Chi Lian looked away from him and changed the subject.

Muyang pointed to the partition in the corner of his office, "In there, she is sleeping." He answered. For now, he was dropping the issue of her injury but they would get back to it soon. Nobody hit his woman and got away with it.

Chi Lian did not want to wake her daughter up; instead she took a sip of the milk and placed the cup back on the table while Muyang patiently looked at her with a slight smile on his face.

She was right about his exhaustion, even his eyes were red and his usually neat hair was out of place. It was testament to how much he had run his hands through it during the course of the day.

His desk was filled with a lot of papers; there were maps on his wall. Just what was going on? She wondered.

"Where is that woman?" she asked him.

Muyang briefly left the chair and returned with a picture which he gave to her. She looked at it without recognition.

"Is this her?" she asked.

"Yes," Muyang answered with a nod of his head, "She had surgery here in the country and then left a few weeks afterwards. When she returned to the country, it was under a false identity.

She goes by the name Rebecca Mu now, a citizen of the American empire. All the paperwork appears to be legitimate, we are trying to find out how she became Rebecca Mu but so far, we have had no luck.

However, she is the principal of Cloud Kindergarten and primary schools. I got an aerial view of the school, as you can see it’s large and very secure. If she has our son and any other children they must be somewhere in there. Because it’s a private school, we need a valid reason before a warrant can be authorized to allow us gain access to search the school grounds." He cursed and kicked the foot of the glass table in front of him out of anger.

"What about Ouyang, is he connected to the school?" she asked.

"Yes, after hacking into the bank, I found out that he was receiving regular payments from the school and he sits on its board as a director. It cannot be a coincidence that both of them are tied to this school; our child must be in there," he said confidently, "I have a strong feeling about this."

"Then we find another way to gain access inside." She suggested.

He walked to the maps and blueprints on his wall and shook his head, he then said, "I checked with the city building inspection department, these are the blue prints of the Cloud schools, there are no other entrances into the school other than the main entrance.

Chi Lian followed him and carefully looked at the same maps and blueprints. She touched one of the maps and said, "A place like this, it’s impossible for them not to have a secret entrance or exit especially if they are doing something shady. We just need to find out where it is and then we can do some digging around."
