After taking a bath, Scarlet Esong and Justin cuddled on a couch under one large blanket. Justin was on Scarlet’s lap while her head was on Esong’s shoulders.

He was watching frozen for the fifth time in his life and sipping strawberry milk out of a bottle lazily while they watched the news.

"Yes mistress." the AI answered.

"Alex, send a copy of the entire file to the dirty daily dozen online news page."

The AI did not respond and Esong looked at Scarlet.

Her stupid private AI brain always rejected his commands unless they were basic things related to the running of the castle.

"Alex do as he requested."

"Yes mistress." It replied.

He sulked and leaned away from her. "So you can use Jovi as you please but Alex can discriminate against me."

Scarlet rolled her eyes derisively because since when did this man learn to pout?

"Alex the general can be given a level three clearance." she said.

"Yes mistress, I will initiate the process of granting access to general Esong Wu."

Esong smiled and he brought his body closer to her again.

"What does level three entail?"

"You will find out on your own." she answered. "How is it going, the research into the space crack?"

She had not yet passed by the forest but a good number of little creatures were keeping an eye on it for her.

He took her hand in his and brought it to his lips and then rubbed his cheek against it. To her surprise, he also yawned.

"Are you tired?" she asked him.

He nodded and yawned again.

Justin abandoned frozen and moved closer to take a look at it.

"Say hello to Mega X1, a self thinking robot controlled by Alex and I. He is a data collection robot that can travel to distant worlds and do the job of one hundred researchers. It can withstand all weather conditions, collect samples and preserve them, rewrite it’s code, hack and send viruses to any unknown links trying to connect to it. It can also instantly turn into a killer robot when it senses a threat and best of all, it can teleport to a specific input location in an instant at my command." Scarlet told Esong.

Just like his son, Esong abandoned the sofa to take a closer look at the fifteen foot tall gigantic black and red robot that was armed with energy guns, lasers, energy swords and other weapons. It was the size of a single piloted mecha.

"It can change shape and turn into a vehicle to move on the ground, under the ground, it can fly, sail on water or under water. Thanks to it’s teleportation abilities it is faster than any spaceship on any planet in the Alliance, I believe.

"Mommy I want to play with it." Justin shouted. "I want to take a ride inside. Make it play with me."

Esong looked at his son and replied, "Go and take a ride on Severus."

Justin pouted and looked Scarlet with eager wishful eyes. If you say no, I am going to cry, they said.

Esong on the hand was looking for the opening which would allow him to enter inside. This was not a toy, this was a sweet piece of technology that he wanted to test out in a battle.

"Activate this babe, I want to see what this bad boy can do." he told her.

"It’s not moving mommy, make it move." Justin complained.

He was now latching onto one of the legs, hugging it like a monkey on a tree branch.

"Both of you can stop making requests because I am denying them all. Mega X1 is not a toy for you to play with. Now come back to the couch and enjoy the family time which you both demanded."

Father and son sighed. When she used that tone, it was a hard no which could not be changed.

They returned to the couch with their shoulders sagging similarly and continued to sigh.

Scarlet smiled and patted their heads. How she had missed them when she was gone!
