During her lunch hour, Scarlet chose to eat from her office alone. On hearing about this however, Mina came over and joined her.

Scarlet did not mind the company of her friend but she did suspect that Mina was here to rob her of food.

Just as they were about to start eating, Mina looked at Scarlet with a grave look and folded her lips.

"What?" Scarlet asked her. "Do you have something to tell me or are you simply admiring my overwhelming beauty?"

"Your overwhelming beauty!" Mina chuckled. "Yes, you are the lady governor and the Blue star’s number one beauty. I am not admiring you however, I am worried about you."

"About what?" She asked her.

Mina scooted closer to Scarlet, practically sitting in her laps and she whispered.

"There is a secret inquiry into you and your actions in the case of the boy who pricked women in the mall.

Someone leaked it to a minister and an officer of some kind is coming to question everyone involved in the case."

"Okay." Scarlet replied, very unbothered.

Mina looked at her face and gasped. "You know."

Scarlet nodded, "I know everything on my planet. I also know that the officer coming is general Sang who is not on good terms with my husband.

Apparently Esong called him a limp cock, shriveled dick, inflated....I don’t even know. I have a feeling that this is a witch hunt aimed at me and Esong perhaps.

But, I have my own goals and I will use him to achieve them."

The darkness was RGB territory, if a general from the mecha warriors was involved she had a strong suspicion about his motives.

"What do you think about the boy Mina? You met him, I told professor Sham to loop in the GBCS because I anticipated this happening when I asked Zorl to hold off on reporting the case."

Mina shook her head and said, "I still can’t believe my brother sided with you over his rigid belief in the system."

"How do you know that he is not the one who called his bosses?" Scarlet asked her.

Mina laughed and wagged her finger back and forth. Assuring, she told Scarlet, "Because my brother doesn’t do secrets when it comes to his job. I am sure he informed a higher up that he could trust to cover his ass. But, he would have done so right at the beginning.

Right now, it seems to me more like the information has just been leaked because they are just acting on it.

Our organizations do not sit on information about the darkness we move when we find out."

Scarlet was appreciative that Mina had taken a risk and shared this information with her. She was like her brother Zorl, they took their jobs seriously.

The same Mina who refused to share the identity of the one who reported her and Esong when Justin fell in the pond was sharing top secret information with her now.

Granted she was stuffing her mouth full of fried rice and beef as she talked but she was breaking protocol and laws for the sake of friendship.

"I have been thinking of rewarding all officials that work on the Blue star. After the work you all put in when the forest fire happened, you deserve a reward.

What do you think about a two day all expenses paid vacation at my eco resort?"

"Really!" Mina opened her mouth which was stuffed full of food and shouted.

Scarlet pointed at Mina’s open mouth and shook her head.

"Chew your food first."

Mina did as Scarlet said, barely chewing as she rushed to swallow.

"Say that again." She looked at Scarlet eagerly.

"No, you heard me the first time. Just tell me if it’s a good thing or will it be perceived as some kind of bribery.

I intend to include it in the benefit package of all officers and their families."

Mina smiled politely, squeezing her eyes into a slit like form.

"All officers in their different positions will be very happy to accept this compulsory benefit governor. But first, I will accept more of your delicious food."

Scarlet patted Mina’s hair and sighed. "Aah, I can’t have a serious conversation with you."

Mina’s eyes sparkled and she smiled brilliantly. She took on the resemblance of a ripe mango that was all but ready to explode.

It looked like she was dying to say something.

"Mmm, we should just discuss my brother and his girlfriend. Do you know that they have moved in together?"

"What?" Scarlet replied.

"Apparently something went wrong at Jelly’s apartment so they are temporarily living together. I know that my brother likes to walk around shirtless. I wonder how she is dealing with that.

Let me tell you Scarlet, Zorl is on the top fifty most desirable men of the Sun star. Those two, they will cause a happy accident if they stay together."

"You mean pregnancy." Scarlet was very doubtful.

Simply because he walked around shirtless and was considered desirable did not mean Jelly would be seduced so easily.

"That’s what my mother said. She is excited because she thinks she will be having her first grandchild soon. But I don’t think it’s going to go as she expects."

"Hmm." Scarlet responded, not truly knowing what to say to that.

For about two minutes, they ate in silence, each enjoying the taste of their lunch in companionable silence.

Scarlet had a hologram of the gaming city, The Citadel in her office.

It rotated around, and a model that they hired introduced the city to those who wanted to move or invest.

Mina had been looking at it on and off for a while, eyes deeply contemplating something.

"What is on your mind?" Scarlet asked her.

Mina pointed to thr hologram and said, "By the way, what’s up with the abnormally exorbitant prices for housing in the gaming city?

I have been trying to get a place for two weeks now but the queue is not moving. The whole place is being monopolized by outsiders."

"Which outsiders?"

"Rich people from the capital." Mina specified. "Shouldn’t first priority to move be given to us the local citizens?

I finally found a place I want to move to but not even my status as an officer can get me to the top of the cue."

Scarlet went to her computer, logged on and looked at the records of the Citadel. Twenty five million people had applied to move there or buy up houses.

Not surprisingly, this list included children as young as five years old whose parents were purchasing properties for them.

How nice it was to have rich parents. But, if she didn’t have a castle in every city, she would buy for Justin as well.

"The citadel is supposed to attract investors and that’s what it’s doing. But, I will personally send you to the top of the cue. I can’t believe you are willing to move all the way there.

What’s the attraction for you?"

"Have you seen the fairy villages? They are so pretty and cute.

I want to live there for the rest of my life." Mina replied dreamily.

Someone knocked on the door and Scarlet opened it using her kinesis. Precious was standing out there.

"Governor, one miss Lanta is here to see you."
