Transmigrated Into The Body Of The Cursed Prince Wife -
Chapter 211: Warmth
Chapter 211: Warmth
Once Lucian entered the tent, he slowly laid the shivering Ave to the side before he turned and zipped the entrance to close out the howling cold wind outside. Despite being inside the tent, and because there was no fire but only the lamp to work as a warmer, Ave was still shaking from the cold, her teeth chattering as she curled up on the small bed in the tent. The snow on her coat had begun to melt into water, wetting the fabric that was supposed to provide her with warmth.
Lucian stared at her in contemplation of how to help her feel warmer, and though he knew what to do, he feared that it might be torture for both of them, especially when he had decided not to ever do anything that would initiate sexual intimacy between them. However, one thing was for certain, he couldn’t watch his wife suffer this much from the cold.
Without hesitation, he turned off the lamp light in the tent as he knew with the lights on, the men outside would be able to see shadows of what was going on in there. He began to quickly discard his clothes while his eyes remained on her. He took off every piece of clothing until he was only in his drawers before he went toward her and began to remove hers as well.
"Don’t worry, I’ll make the cold go away, my love," he whispered in assurance as he discarded her coat and began to unbutton the tiny buttons at the back of her dress. He took off her dress until she wasn’t wearing anything and was naked in his arms, where despite the darkness, he could see clearly and feel the gooseflesh that had risen on her skin. He didn’t get the time to admire her body and slowly moved her back to lay down on the bed before he laid atop her, trying his best not to crush her with his weight but making sure he covered her entire body with his.
Lucian pulled the blanket over their bodies as he laid still on her and began to heat up his body from the inside with his flame powers. Not long after, his body became so hot that he heard his wife moan in contentment under him as she wrapped her arms around his neck and snuggled her head in the crook of his neck and mused softly, "You feel so warm and nice... I need more of your warmth..." She rubbed herself against him like a cat, and Lucian had to hold back a groan when she arched against his hardened arousal.
"Behave, my wife, don’t move too much," he warned strainedly as his hand found her waist and swiftly turned their position so that he was laying on the bed while she lay atop him with the blanket covering them from head to toe.
Ave laid her head down on his taut chest and wrapped her arms around him. She could feel the cold becoming nonexistent as his body heat warmed up her body and the thick blanket. Her shivering had stopped and her foggy brain had cleared and was now replaced with awareness of their position and the fact that he had stripped her naked. She was laying on him skin to skin without wearing anything, and she felt her body beginning to react to it.
Her skin tingled with warmth of desire, and that warmth curled up inside her stomach until it settled in her lower abdomen. She felt uncomfortable. Biting the inside of her cheek, Ave used her hands to slowly trail down his chest as she lifted her head up a bit and stared at his burning gaze that found hers in the darkness. He was staring at her intensely.
"Lucian..." She whispered his name with a voice that didn’t hide what she wanted to say to him, and before she could say it or do anything that might cause him to lose control over himself at a place like this where all of his men were around them building fire, he reached out and slid his hand behind her head with the intention of pulling her head back on his chest, but she grabbed his hand and looked at him achingly before she slowly brought the hand down to her breast and pressed it there.
Lucian quickly tried to pull his hand away, but she pressed it down against her supple breast, where he could feel the gooseflesh that had risen, whether from cold or desire. Unable to resist, he found himself gently caressing her taut nipple before kneading the breast and causing her to gasp softly as if she hadn’t expected him to do that.
He felt his loins begin to grow hard and hot as she straddled his waist and he had his hand on her breast. She looked down at him while biting down on her lower lip as if expecting him to do more, and when he didn’t move, she leaned down and pressed a hesitant kiss to his lips.
"Open your mouth for me, Lucian..." She whispered against his lips as she pressed her body intimately against his. Lucian didn’t know when he opened his mouth for her, and she kissed him open-mouthed. She was inexperienced, he could tell by how she kept pausing to look into his eyes in the darkness as if not certain if she was doing it right or if he was enjoying it. He dared not respond or kiss her back as he knew he would lose control of himself and that animalistic hunger would consume him again until he would want nothing but her blood. He allowed her to mess around as she pleased without responding back. He didn’t have the heart to stop her, thus, he decided to remain as still as a rock.
She nibbled his lower lip and playfully closed her teeth against it before she soothed it with her tongue just as he always did for her. She sucked his mouth and licked it before she plunged her tongue into his mouth and explored every inch of it. It was all he could do not to reach out and pin her underneath him and show her just how torturous it was to be teased the way she was teasing him, arousing him to the point where he could feel the bulge straining his drawers.
Ave was becoming uncertain with each passing second that her husband didn’t respond to her. She didn’t know why she was doing this, but she knew what she wanted to achieve by doing it. She wanted him to make love to her, she wanted to feel her husband inside her and know what it felt like, but the fact that he just lay there still while she kissed and pressed herself against him intimately was making her begin to feel self-conscious and stupid.
Was he really not interested in her sexually? She had thought that because of how he had removed her clothes and his, it meant nothing was wrong between them and that whatever distance he had put between them last night was just her own imagination.
Before she knew that Selene’s body belonged to her, she had fought her sexual desires toward him and even dismissed them most of the time as she believed it wasn’t coming from her but the body. However, now that she knew it was her body and that whatever feelings she had were hers, she had decided to stop fighting them and explore them instead. She knew what she wanted, and it was her husband, who she had thought wanted her much before but now she was no longer certain again.
What was she doing wrong or what had she done wrong? Was he really not interested in any sexual intimacy because her body had been used before? Was he trying to build up a wall in that aspect of their life and never touch her again?
With those thoughts, Ave stopped moving her mouth against his and closed her eyes to fight back the pricking in the back of her eyes and the clenching of her throat. Feeling self-conscious about herself, she slowly moved away from atop his body and lay beside him instead, staring blankly at the blanket that covered them for a moment before she turned onto her side and curled up.
Lucian knew without a doubt that she had come to a conclusion in her mind about the reason he wasn’t responding back to her and had given up on trying, and though he hated that she stopped kissing him and the absence of her body atop him made him feel like a part of him had moved away from him, he couldn’t reach out to apologize to her with a kiss. He didn’t know what she had thought about in the few moments she stopped moving on him, but he could tell she had given him the space she must have thought he wanted.
Turning to lay on his side where he looked at her bare back with her red hair spread out, he fought the urge to reach out to touch her. He didn’t know how to tell her that he was being reluctant because he was afraid he might kill her. He was afraid of biting her against her will when she seemed terrified of fangs. His arousal came with that urge.
Reaching out slowly, he touched the strands of her hair that poured out over the pillow and let them slide down his fingers. She had beautiful hair, which he’d never admired because he thought it was Selene’s. Noticing that she was beginning to shiver again with the absence of his skin-to-skin warming, he reluctantly moved closer to her and wrapped his arm around her waist before he pulled her to him, where her back pressed against his front. She didn’t react, and when he heard her steady breathing, Lucian realized she had fallen asleep.
The journey must have tired her out so much. Draping his leg over hers, he whispered, "I am sorry," and then closed his eyes and tried to sleep as well as he couldn’t leave her side.

When Ave opened her eyes again, it was already mid-morning, and the tent was filled with the sweet aroma of roasted meat that she knew was coming from outside. She frowned and sat up on the bed as she stretched her arms above her head and yawned. Though she had slept, it was like she hadn’t gotten enough of it.
Lucian wasn’t in the tent, but she realized her clothes were back on her body with the coat and double blankets over her. Her frown deepened as she realized she didn’t know when he’d helped her back into her dress. She was about to wonder where he was when she heard voices coming from outside the orange tent.
