Transmigrated Into The Body Of The Cursed Prince Wife
Chapter 103: The perverted Lucian

Chapter 103: The perverted Lucian

Ave swirled around to face him upon hearing his words, a frown settling on her face. "Then why did you spar with the prince of Nazia today in the garden?" she asked, curious and confused.

Orion had said he was sitting next to Lucian when the challenge was made, and he had requested to marry Princess Nani, a woman Ave had noticed looked and dressed more manly despite being a beautiful woman with honey-colored skin and light brown eyes. Well, Ave had noticed this because she’d been keeping an eye on the woman after she’d heard Lucian wanted her as his wife, but now...

Lucian didn’t immediately reply to her curious question. He casually took off his coat and dropped it behind a chair at the front of the desk, then made his way to her bed. He kicked off his shoes and pulled the blanket before lying down on it and making himself comfortable, all the while Ave watched what he was doing with a small frown.

Seeing that he had lain down on her bed, which wasn’t as big as the royal ones, she asked, "What are you doing? You don’t plan on sleeping here, do you?" He better not think about that. She didn’t want a repeat of what had happened this morning when she woke up to her leg draped over his erection, poking her.

Lucian lay on his side, using his bent arm as a pillow and glanced up at her with a clueless expression. "I thought we already agreed on that when you locked your window after I entered?" he asked, his voice laced with a seriousness that was not in his eyes, which glimmered with amusement.

He had never enjoyed his sleep like he did when he laid next to her. She was like his sleeping medicine, which he was starting to get addicted to, despite not wanting to.

Besides, he wouldn’t be able to sleep if he went back to his chamber, where, according to Zane, a courtesan had been sent for him, just as they had been sent to every prince in the palace. The last thing he wanted was for another woman to annoy him with her presence and ruin his mood tonight.

When he had come here, it was with the intention of sharing the room with his little rebellious soul who had walked into his life in a matter of weeks and changed everything in his plans and life.

Lucian watched as a displeased look crossed her face at his words, and she put her hands on her hips before saying, "Then I will open the window for you to leave. That bed is not big enough for the two of us. Did you even take a look at how huge you are? You are so huge—"

"You can’t call a man huge, Aveline. It makes one think you are referring to something else, and I might want to prove to you just how huge I can get." He remarked lazily, his eyes boring into hers intensely as her words seemed to take on another meaning in his mind; one he would gladly prove to her.

Ave, oblivious to his meaning, rolled her eyes as she looked at how his tall, muscular form took up almost all the space on the small bed. Though he was muscular in every form and unrealistically good-looking, he wasn’t overly big—just too big when compared to her feminine size.

"As if you aren’t a big man. What else do you have to prove that would make you bigger than you are? You better leave because I am no longer married to you, and you have no right to share my bed," she said matter-of-factly.

Lucian stared at her with a blank expression. Though this woman sometimes acted like she knew everything and boldly said things no woman from his time would dare, she was as clueless as a little girl when it came to what went on between a man and a woman—just like when he’d kissed her this morning, he’d belatedly noticed how inexperienced she was for a woman who claimed that in the future a man and a woman could do these things without the bounds of marriage.

He didn’t know whether to be happy about that, as it would make things embarrassing for her if she understood what he had been referring to a moment ago, or to feel furious that she was sending him away using the excuse that he was no longer married to her.

She had laid in bed with a man she wasn’t married to in her time, saying it was part of making a movie. She had straddled that man the same way she had straddled Lucian that night, and yet now, she didn’t want him to lie here.

When Lucian didn’t make any attempt to stand up, Ave gritted her teeth and strode toward him. If she had to drag him out the door, she would, as long as he wouldn’t sleep beside her or in her room.

Ave reached his side and was about to pull him up, but before she knew it, he swiftly grabbed her wrist and tugged her forward. She fell on top of his body, and his arm went around her waist as he pulled her to his side on the bed. He turned her to lie on her side, her back pressed too close to his front, causing her pulse to quicken and her stomach to stir before a thread of heat began to settle in the pit of her abdomen.

Ave hurriedly tried to stand up, but she felt his arm tighten around her waist, and his leg draped over hers before he used the blanket to cover them both. She stiffened when she felt his leg over hers under the covers. "Much better," she heard him whisper, his voice falling right on the crook of her neck where his head was now resting, his breath fanning her skin.

"Lucian, you’re crossing the line. Let go of me and take your leg off my body," Ave warned, her voice coming out small and shaky. She didn’t like this at all. She would have preferred the Lucian who placed his dagger to her neck; it was easier to curse and hate him than deal with this perverted one, who was making her feel like a rat cornered by a cat.

"Don’t you want to hear why I sparred with the prince of Nazia anymore?" he asked quietly, his arm subconsciously tightening around her small waist, his hand curved to ensure she wouldn’t escape and deprive him of a good night’s sleep. It was like when you’ve been eating bitter food all your life, used to the taste to the point where you don’t even know it’s bitter. But then one day, you taste something sweet...

And you realize how bitter that food you once liked really was. You realize how addictive the sweet taste is, and you never want to go back to the bitterness. That’s how he felt sleeping next to Ave.

Though the sweet scent of the flowery soap she’d used to bathe and her natural scent, which had always messed with his senses swirled to his nose and invaded his breathing, he would bear with it. He could feel the fast beating of her pulse and how the blood flowed through her veins, the itch in his throat intensifying as he swallowed a bit harder. He was using every bit of control in him to stop himself from taking a bite at her flesh. It would be more like a sweet torture to sleep beside her tonight—a torture he was willing to take for as long as she would allow him.
