"Yes, we are already accustomed to waking up early. We also wanted to train earlier, so we have to get up early," Astrid said after stopping for a bit from her spar with Violet.

"Oh, then, good luck with your training," Luciel said while sitting on the sofa.

"Big brother, you are already awake! What food do you want to eat? We will prepare it," Bella said energetically.

"Just continue cooking what you prepared. Did you guys prepare hot water?" Luciel said while bringing out instant hot chocolate from their space.

"Yes, here it is," Bella said while bringing a big vacuum flask.

After getting hot water, he prepared his hot chocolate and began drinking and watching the fight of Astrid, Violet, and Owen while waiting for their breakfast.

Luciel could see that the three of them were doing their best, and their moves were okay, so Luciel just remained at the sofa and watched them.

After a while they had their breakfast. The meals weren’t as delicious as those prepared by Nina and Richard, but at least they’re still okay, so Luciel didn’t say anything.

They couldn’t do much because of the rain, so in the following days the kids just continued to train.

Most of the time, Luciel also just stayed on the sofa watching movies or answering crosswords.

He would also sometimes give some instructions when the kids were training, especially when he wasn’t watching movies.

The rain was still pouring continuously, and on the fourth day that they were staying, the whole first floor was already submerged.

On the fifth day of their stay, while they were doing their routine, someone actually knocked on their door.

Luciel was watching, so he didn’t want to stand and open the door.

So he just left it as it is until the person outside knocked for the third time, and when Astrid said, "Brother Luciel, someone is knocking on the door. Should we just leave it be, or should I go and open the door?"

"No, I’ll open it depending on the person’s purpose," Luciel said and paused the movie he was watching.

He couldn’t leave it to the others because it would be dangerous if the person outside was thinking of doing something dangerous.

Even though he could sense that only one person was outside their door, it’s still dangerous.

"What is it?" Luciel asked loudly for the person outside to hear what he said.

After he asked, the person outside didn’t reply immediately, but afterwards, they heard a young male voice from outside.

"I-I’m staying on the fifth floor. C-can I exchange water with some of your food?"

The person outside seemed to be sure that they had enough food that they could even exchange it.

Well, if he hadn’t seen them when he put the car they used in their space, then the person outside probably smelled most of the food that they were cooking 3 times a day.

Even though they were only cooking simple things, they were still cooking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Luciel was sure that those ordinary people who were already struggling to look for supplies wouldn’t cook for their every meal.

A lot of them were surely not eating three times a day. They were probably eating just twice or once a day.

He couldn’t even be sure if they were even eating properly to be considered as a meal for a day.

So, even if the person outside just smelled the food they cooked, it was obvious that they had a lot of food.

"How much do you want?" Luciel asked loudly.

"I-I’ll just exchange with any extra you have," the person outside said.

The person outside didn’t say any number, so Luciel had a better impression of him because he knew not to demand any number.

So Luciel brought out canned goods and instant noodles that would be enough for 4 days if the person outside ate 3 times a day.

Luciel brought out those that were more common: canned goods and instant noodles he had in their space.

He didn’t bring out those premium and more delicious goods at all.

Of course, he wouldn’t give away the more delicious goods that he was eating.

He doesn’t know when production would even resume, so of course, those with better quality and better taste should only be consumed by him and by the others in the team so that it would last longer.

But the things he brought out were surely more than enough for the person outside.

After putting the things he brought out in a bag, he stood up and opened the door.

He didn’t open the door widely; instead, he only opened it wide enough for half of his body.

He didn’t even show the bag he was going to give and talked to the person waiting outside.

"You’re the only one upstairs?"

"F-for the time being, y-yes."

The person in front of him was obviously the same age as Austin and Owen, probably fourteen or fifteen.

"Y-yes, brother, and the others in the team are not yet back."

"They left you alone?" Luciel asked in a puzzled voice.

The boy in front of him was certainly cared for, as it was obvious that he was a bit naive.

The boy even revealed that he probably had water powers or had a lot of stored water by saying that he wanted to exchange food for water.

So, if they were bad people or people who were easily tempted, the things stored by the boy for exchange would probably be gone without any exchange at all.
