Transmigrated as the fake young master, I'll beat up the scumbags and b*tches -
Vol. 1 - Ch. 313 - Rage!
There was no time for reunions now. If they couldn't take down Shi Ren soon, none of them would make it out alive today.
"Little sis, are you okay?"
"Not great. I can’t take him on right now."
Bai XingQi struggled against the ropes binding her, but quickly realized they were tied far too tightly—there was no getting out.
"Don’t waste your strength," Shi Ren sneered, his cold gaze locked on her. "Since I’ve caught you, don’t think I’ll let you escape."
But what puzzled Bai XingQi was the hatred in his eyes. Shi Ren wasn’t even part of Blizzard. Why did he look at her like he wanted to tear her apart?
"What exactly are you after?"
"Bai XingQi... do you remember killing a girl when you were younger?"
The moment he brought it up, the fury in Shi Ren’s eyes could no longer be hidden. At the mention of that girl, both Bai XingQi and Kang Xin froze.
Because they knew exactly who he was talking about.
But what did Shi Ren have to do with that?
Bai XingQi stared at him, racking her brain for any memory of this boy—but there was nothing.
"You knew Hu Min? Do you know where she is now?"
"Knew her? Of course I did. Wasn’t she the one you killed—during that experiment?"
As he spoke, Bai XingQi finally realized who he was. He must have been one of the boys Hu Min helped back then. He must have witnessed the moment Bai XingQi pulled the trigger on her.
So this was revenge.
That incident had always been a thorn buried deep in Bai XingQi’s heart. All these years later, she still clung to the hope that Hu Min had somehow survived. She had fired that shot exactly where Hu Min had asked her to, not knowing if it would really work—but praying that it might.
Now, faced with Shi Ren’s anger, Bai XingQi had no words.
Kang Xin slowly stood up, one hand clutching her abdomen, her voice weak.
"You don’t know what Hu Min did for us. You don’t know what really happened back then. We wanted revenge too!"
"Revenge? Did I not already tell you? The woman behind you—she’s the current master of Blizzard. And Blizzard is just the new name for that same organization from before!"
Kang Xin stood frozen. She turned her head slowly and met Bai XingQi’s gaze.
But Bai XingQi looked away.
She hadn’t expected this. Back then, they’d fought tooth and nail just to escape that hell. And now one of them had become its master?
Did that mean the old leader was dead?
"So you’re trying to avenge Hu Min?"
"What else? I’ve planned this for years just to kill Bai XingQi. I don’t care what happens outside."
"You’re insane. Do you have any idea how many innocent people you’ll kill by doing this?" Kang Xin choked.
If Bai XingQi could still call in help from Blizzard, maybe they could still save those outside.
But Shi Ren only laughed.
"Bai XingQi, you think you can still save anyone out there? You probably don’t know this, but among those thugs, a good number are Blizzard members. When the truth comes out—that all of this was orchestrated by you and Blizzard—both your organization and the Bai family will be erased from this world."
Bai XingQi clenched her teeth, her body trembling.
She understood what he meant—there was a mole inside Blizzard. And that mole had been waiting for this day.
The one who had been in charge of reorganizing Blizzard was Lou Ze.
Now, there was only one conclusion: Lou Ze was the traitor.
It was hard to believe, but Bai XingQi had no choice but to accept it.
She slowly got to her feet and stared Shi Ren down.
"You can kill me, but let her go."
"You’re not in a position to bargain."
"She’s from the Gu family. If you kill her, believe me, your life is over. You know exactly what kind of man HuMing is. I heard he beat Shi Dan into the hospital. If he finds out this is your doing, do you really think you can escape?"
The mention of HuMing made Shi Ren’s expression darken.
"You think I’m afraid of him?"
"Then you think you can outrun him?" Bai XingQi faced him head-on, shielding Kang Xin behind her.
Kang Xin held her stomach, blood still dripping from the corner of her lips.
Shi Ren’s blow earlier had probably injured her internally—she needed a hospital immediately.
"Bai XingQi, do you really think you can bluff me? HuMing’s probably still under surveillance outside. And how many people from the Gu family do you think are still alive?"
"That’s no longer your concern."
A man’s voice came from behind the door.
Shi Ren instinctively turned his head—just in time to see the wooden door get kicked open!
He hadn’t even realized someone was standing behind it.
Shi Ren was knocked to the floor but sprang up at once, eyes narrowed, alert.
The man who stood in the doorway glared at him with cold eyes.
HuMing had followed the trail and arrived just in time to hear the voices inside.
His eyes went straight to Kang Xin, who was wiping the blood from her lips—clearly in a fragile state.
Rage simmered in HuMing’s chest as he turned to face Shi Ren.
"Shi Ren... you’re just as stupid as Shi Dan."
Shi Ren lunged forward with a knife, but HuMing didn’t flinch. He rushed forward, grabbing Shi Ren’s wrist with one hand and jamming his other hand against the man's elbow.
Shi Ren cried out as his wrist twisted unnaturally.
Grimacing, he tried to kick HuMing—only for HuMing to slam his elbow into Shi Ren’s leg, knocking him off balance.
Then, in one smooth motion, HuMing seized Shi Ren’s arm and leg and hurled him to the ground!
Shi Ren hit the floor with a grunt of pain.
But HuMing wasn’t done.
He straddled Shi Ren and began raining punches down on him.
"You dared to lay a hand on her? I told you—never cross my line!"
HuMing was beyond furious. The moment he saw Kang Xin injured, something inside him snapped.
He had always protected her—never let her get hurt—and this bastard had dared to harm her!
He didn’t care who Shi Ren was. His fists came down harder than they had on Shi Dan.
One after another, the punches smashed into Shi Ren’s once-handsome face, turning it into a bloody, swollen mess—utterly unrecognizable.
"You want to die? I’ll grant your wish."
HuMing picked up the knife that had fallen to the floor and, without hesitation, drove it straight into the back of Shi Ren’s hand.
Shi Ren’s eyes went wide. A bloodcurdling scream tore from his throat.
