Qin Yan said, "Mom, don’t worry. Everything is alright. We should just let go of the past events and focus on the future. Many things are awaiting us and we should just look forward from now on."

Fang Zichen nodded. Indeed, looking at the past was of no use to them. Many things awaited them in the future.

Han Cheng also looked up after hearing Qin Yan’s words. As his guilt diminished for a bit, the surprise that he had gotten after knowing that Qin Yan herself was Dr. Q evaded his senses.

He asked, "Miss Qin, can you still treat my Zichen? I know that we were at fault for not trusting you and thus I sincerely apologize to you for this behavior. I hope you can treat my wife."

Han Cheng basically pleaded with Qin Yan for treating Fang Zichen. Although he felt that Qin Yan was not a person to hold grudges, he apologized sincerely because of Xi Ting. Xi Ting was popular to hold grudges against people who had wronged any of his closed ones. And he could not be pleased easily. Thus, sincere apology to Qin Yan would help them as Xi Ting would know that they had not devalued his fiancé or taken her for granted.

Qin Yan was not surprised by Han Cheng’s words. Although Fang Zichen was her mother and she would definitely treat her, she was not someone who would be at whim of anyone. Thus, she felt relieved that Han Cheng was sincere with his words and gave her the respect that she deserved.

She replied, "Uncle Han, I will definitely help my mother. But I hope that whatever happened till now would not happen again. Because of my identity, many people will try to sabotage me, so I hope that you can trust me from now on, no matter what the rumors say."

Han Cheng and Fang Zichen both nodded, "We promise you that such thing will not happen again."

Qin Yan glanced at Xi Ting and then looked at the Han couple, "Okay then, we need to travel to C Nation. The arrangements for mother’s treatment have already been made there. I will accompany my mom and ensure that nothing goes wrong with her during the travel."

"Sure," Han Cheng agreed readily.

The next day, all four of them boarded Xi Ting’s private plane. It was a six-hour flight from the M nation to the C Nation. During the flight, Qin Yan took great care of Fang Zichen. Being taken care by her daughter, Fang Zichen’s heart was full of joy. The paleness of her face reduced a bit as she was in a good mental state.

Although there were many things that they hadn’t figured out till now, the fact that her biological child was alive and well was a great motivation to Fang Zichen.

After deboarding the flight, Fang Zichen was taken directly to the Angel hospital for admission. Qin Yan had already made the arrangements and Fang Zichen had to be in the hospital for a while before she could be discharged. After that her treatment could be continued at home.

Han Cheng had already bought a villa at the outskirts of the city. It was located on a serene location that would give a peaceful environment for the recuperation to his wife.

Fang Zichen’s treatment began soon after she was admitted to the hospital. Qin Yan had to employ many methods for treating her mother. Her knowledge of western as well as Chinese medicine came to be useful in the treatment.

Fang Zichen’s ward was tightly secured by Han Cheng. Any emotional fluctuations in her body could delay the treatment and thus Han Cheng did not want anything or anyone to harm his wife.

Although Fang Zichen and others had many things to know, all this was delayed because of the treatment. As the treatment was the first priority, everything else was put on hold.

Qin Yan had told them that after Fang Zichen’s treatment in the hospital and her one-month recuperation at home, her body would be stabilized and could take on emotional blows. Although it would also delay the recuperation for a bit, Qin Yan was sure that she could minimize the effects of the emotional turmoil that Fang Zichen would face.

Qin Muran’s new manager walked in Xi Yaohua’s office. The new manager was called Huo Lin.

Huo Lin stopped before him and greeted, "Chairman Xi."

Xi Yaohua nodded in acknowledgment.

Huo Lin spoke for the reason she was here, "Chairman Xi, are we not going to handle the news of Miss Muran on Weibo? It’s already the top search online. If this goes on, Miss Muran’s reputation is going to be very badly affected. She signed the contracts for a few upcoming commercials. If this isn’t cleared up in time, the brands might drop her. The contracts always included a clause that said the brands had the right to drop the artistes if they were involved in any forms of negative news that might adversely affect the brands’ image. When that happened, the artistes would have to bear the compensation costs.

The brands that Qin Muran signed contracts with were not particularly big ones. But if every one of them required compensation, it’d be a huge sum.

Xi Yaohua thought about it for a while before saying to Huo Lin seriously, "Issue a public declaration saying that the person behind the post is Linda. She had received money from others to sabotage Qin Muran. When the company found out, we fired Linda right away."

Huo Lin’s expression changed when she heard that. She and Linda were on pretty good terms. They were both top-tier managers of the company. She already knew that Xi Yaohua fired Linda because of Qin Muran, but she never expected him to make Linda the scapegoat. He was too much.

In any case, Linda was a long-time employee of Global World Entertainment, and she’d made a huge contribution to the firm. To kick someone to the curb when they’d outlived their usefulness, Chairman Xi was being despicable. And too cold-hearted to believe.

In the whole period of treatment, Jiang Xun took great care of her boyfriend. Xu Lei could not endure the daily PDA of the couple and thus she decided to resume her work earlier.

Jiang Xun, on the other hand, returned to the company much later when Xu Dong had recovered a lot and did not need 24*7 care and attention.
