Transmigrated As A Feisty Omega -
Chapter 83: Worried
Chapter 83: Worried
Brys
It has been a month since the incident. Ray got together with Theo just a week ago because Storm and I played matchmakers. Had that not been the case, I doubt the two shy wolves would have gotten together at all.
Fan said Storm’s love percentage is still at 97%, and that confused me. We have gone all the way and loved each other dearly, yet he couldn’t give me the remaining 3% of his love? I’m afraid we will remain in the 97% until we grow old and die.
"How is my pretty Omega friend?" Ray wrapped his hand around my shoulder and hugged me so tight, he almost cut my breath.
"Not good," I glanced around the cafeteria, looking for Storm. I haven’t seen him since yesterday during lunch. After that, he disappeared and hasn’t returned. I stayed alone in his dorm all night, waiting for his return, but the damned Alpha didn’t return!
"Why? Trouble with your Alpha?" He raised a knowing brow, realizing Storm is the only one who can keep me this frustrated.
"Hmm."
"What happened? Refused to ...." He wriggled his brows at me, leaving his words hanging, inferring that I understood, perfectly, what he was trying to tell me.
"Not that. He didn’t return last night. I checked with Theo, but he wasn’t around when I went to look for him," I shrugged, taking a bit of the doughnut I ordered.
I felt too lazy to eat because I need Storm here, to feed him. I have gotten used to how much he dotes on me, that I hardly do things on my own. He made me feel like a kid once more.
I can’t even bathe like I normally do. Call me spoiled, I don’t care. I just have a doting boyfriend who doesn’t let me do anything.
"He was with me, last night," Ray took one of my doughnuts, but I didn’t even bat an eye. I pretend like I didn’t see him because I’m just not in the mood to argue with him.
"I know. You don’t have to rub it on me," I turned to the door, expecting Storm to traipse in like he does all morning, with a smile, and my backpack hung on his pack. Goddess help me, I forgot my damned backpack!
"Well, there’s something to look forward to. We are graduating!" He winked at me. "It’s time to join the world out there. Theo is already making plans to take me to visit his parents. I can’t wait to meet my parents-in-law!"
I rolled my eyes at how enthusiastic he sounded, "what if they don’t accept you?"
"They must." He said as a matter of fact. "If they don’t accept me, I will elope to my house with Theo. We are going to get married no matter what. I’m not letting him go, not after I gave him my virginity and innocence."
I wrinkled my nose, "people hook up all the time. It doesn’t matter."
"So, you are saying you will leave Storm if his parents ask you to?"
"Me?" I scoffed. "He’s stuck with me for as long as he lives," I stared at the door. "Where do you think he went to?"
"I don’t know," he shrugged. "Theo left early last night and returned in the early hours of the morning."
"Did he tell you anything about Storm?" I tried not to sound worried because I don’t need my mind to start creating different possibilities.
Throughout the week, Storm has been acting a bit distant from me. I had to call Fan severally, to be certain that his love for me hadn’t gone down. Fan affirmed it was still in the same percentage, yet I can’t help but get worried about it.
What if he’s hiding it? Has he finally realized that I’m a man, who can’t give him any kids?
"No, didn’t ask. Though, he told me he was taking care of some things. I was too tired to ask him anything, so I just slept in his arms."
Talk of rubbing things in my face. My stupid best friend is trying to make me super jealous of his dating life. I guess that’s what I deserve since this was the way I spoke to him before he got together with Theo. I bet he’s trying to get back at me for that. I can’t fault him. I’m at fault.
Theo and Storm didn’t show up throughout the day. We took the last exam, which is just an individual running through the forest. I managed to get to the end three minutes faster than the other Omegas.
Don’t ask me, I used the power I got from completing my tasks, coupled with my anger at Storm for keeping me worried.
The new principal they got for us is a very nice man. He’s an Omega — a first since the creation of the school. After the kidnap, Sky left the Academy, and I haven’t heard from him since then.
I just hope he’s okay because he deserves it. He might have been wrong at first, but he was able to redeem his errors.
"Brys!"
Ray called out when he caught up with me. I was heading back to the dorm, to pack my clothes. Unlike others who know where the hell they are turning to after graduating, I don’t know a damned thing about my future.
I’m only aware that I will be sent to another world after completing the task in this one. However, should Storm’s love not increase, I might stay here until I die, or they send me to wherever they will.
"What do you want, Ray? Aren’t you packing?"
"Theo has already done that," he skipped behind me. "We are leaving after our graduation tomorrow!"
"Better for you," I pursed my lips, hurrying over to our dorm, to prevent my thoughts from spiralling out of control.
"Why are you acting so cold? What’s wrong? Is it about Storm?"
"No, it’s not —"
"Ray!"
I turned at the sound of the familiar voice.
