Transmigrated As A Feisty Omega -
Chapter 62: You are intriguing
Chapter 62: You are intriguing
I strode through the corridors of the teacher’s dorm. Storm and Theo went out to have dinner while I’m here, on my way to see the principal. I haven’t seen Sky since I last saw him entering the forest. Had Ray not told me that he saw him earlier, I would have reported the case of a missing Beta, to the teachers.
The door to the principal’s office got opened, and Sky stepped out of it. His face was scrunched up in an ugly frown, and his hands were balled into fists. He looked damned murderous, and that made me take a step back.
"Sky?"
His head whipped towards me as they widened in shock. "Brys, what are you doing here?" He hastened towards me. The murderous expression on his face gave way to the friendly expression I’m used to.
"Well, I came because the principal called. What are you doing here?" I raised a brow at him.
The others had all gone for dinner, and I would have joined them had it not been for a teacher who told me that the principal requested I come over to his room — whatever reason that might be.
"Well, I was called by the principal just now." He ran a hand through his hair as he stared hard at the door before he turned to face me.
"Oh," I nodded. "I will see you later, okay? There is something I need to ask you about." I need to know what happened in the forest, but I don’t think here is the right place to ask that.
"Okay," he nodded.
"Then, see you around." I made to walk past him, but he stopped me. He held my arm with his hand and drew me close.
At first, I thought he wanted to hug me until he whispered, "Be careful when you are around him," he said before he let me go.
"Around whom?" I blinked at him.
"Mr Kim."
"Why—"
"See you later, Brys," he said in a low tone before he turned and headed back the way I came, while I stood there until he closed the door to the hall, behind him.
I stared at the door before I turned and headed towards the principal’s room. As I knocked on his door, Sky’s words kept on repeating in my mind.
Why did he warn me about the principal? Could there be something he knows that I don’t know about the new principal? Yes, he’s odd. But does that make him dangerous, does it?
I knocked on his door and entered when I heard his voice. Just like the first day I visited his room, he’s sitting with his back to the door. His blonde hair is tied up in a partial ponytail, with the back strands, left to cascade down his back.
"Brys!" He rose from his chair, with a smile on his face. "It’s nice to see you here. Come, I made dinner. I bet you are ravenous—"
"No, I’m not." I stared hard at the food that was placed on his table. "I have plans to eat with my roommate. He’s waiting—"
"Can’t you spare a moment for this old man?" He asked as he took some steps towards me. "It has been long since I had you in my room," he smiled at me.
I forced a smile as I tried not to take a step back, "I wasn’t expecting your summons, sir. I apologize, but it will seem bad of me to forget the promise I made to my friend." I lied through my teeth, hoping he will let me leave.
He stopped in front of me and brought his hand out. I instinctively flinched.
"Why do you look scared, Brys? Have I done anything to make you uncomfortable?" He asked in a broken tone. It doesn’t help matters that the expression on his face matches his tone.
"No, sir," I frantically shook my head. "I’m not scared, it’s just that I feel uncomfortable whenever I’m around Alphas."
"Alphas?" His mouth curved to the side. "You didn’t seem nervous when you were with the black-haired Alpha, were you?" He slightly tilted his head to the side.
I gulped, "I’m close to him. Before we became friends, I always feared being next to him."
"Hmm, interesting," he raised his hand and ran them through my hair.
When Storm did exactly this, I loved it and wanted to feel his hand on my hair once more. But with Mr Kim, it felt like insects were crawling up my hands.
"You are a fascinating person, Brys. You know that, right?" He arched a brow as he continued to run a hand through my hair.
I swallowed, "... Well, you are the only one who has told me this." I tried not to shiver from the hotness of his gaze on me.
"That’s impossible. Everything about you is intriguing. That was what caught my eyes the first day I saw you," he leaned in closer.
I tried to step back but was too frozen to move. It was as if something glued me to a spot, making it impossible for me to move my feet.
"Mr... Mr Kim?"
"Kim will do, Brys." He breathed on my neck, sending shivers down my spine —not the good feeling, I tell you.
"You see, you caught my eyes since the first day, and it made me eager to know you. At first, I thought I wanted to be just friends with you, but it turned out, I wanted more."
My breath hitched, my throat felt dry, and my eyes grew wide at his words.
"W... What. What..." I couldn’t even speak out.
"I like you, Omega." He smiled at me, looking more and more like a psycho. "I don’t know what it is about you that makes men mad. But I think I know now," he circled his hand around me, and that seemed to break whatever spell I was on.
"Let me go!" I tried to fight him, pushing with all my strength, but he didn’t budge. Who am I kidding? Of course, my power isn’t up to par with him.
"Why will I do that when I like you too much to let you go? Don’t worry, my sweet Omega, I won’t hurt you," he hugged me tighter.
"Let me go!"
