Transmigrated As A Feisty Omega -
Chapter 57: A determined Omega
Chapter 57: A determined Omega
I skidded in my steps, with the bag of fries in hand, and a determined expression on my face. I didn’t check for Theo in the cafeteria, since he eats dinner outside. Perhaps, he’s with Storm, but I don’t care.
I have already made up my mind. I’m determined to keep things until Storm either kills me or does whatever he pleases with me.
I stopped in front of his door, to regain my breath. I didn’t walk here, I ran, hopped and skidded over. That was why my breath was a bit hurried.
I knocked on his door, and stood back, with a shit-eating grin on my face. You can see the determination in my eyes — I’m not ready to give up.
There was no reply from the other side, so I knocked once more. "Storm, I’m the one. In case you don’t know who I am, it’s Brys. I’m here with dinner." I gave the fries and the bottle of Strawberry juice a look.
The bag I left earlier at his door in the afternoon is no longer there. Which will mean he either took it or one of those Alphas took it.
Anywho, I don’t care. As long as it’s not on his door. "Storm?" I knocked harder. "Are you sleeping?"
The door to his room opened, and I expected him to be the one, but instead of who I came to meet I’m met with Theo’s stormy glare. The way his eyes narrowed at me, froze me on the spot.
I shivered as I tried not to show how nervous his stares made me. If looks can kill, I would have long gone six feet under the ground.
"What do you want?" He gritted his teeth as he gave me a dark glare.
He has changed out of his earlier clothes and is now putting on a red polo with blue knickers. His eyes narrowed, "return to wherever you came from, Storm doesn’t wish to see you."
"Where is he?" I stubbornly folded my arms as I kept my legs on the door sill, to prevent him from closing it.
I don’t know what made me think he won’t close the door on me. I just did that, and to me, it seemed like the right thing to do.
"None of your damned business, Omega. He doesn’t need you. You should better give up now before you become too emersed in this." He darkly glared at me, "this is the last warning I’m giving. Next time, I won’t hesitate to throw you out of the dorm and give you a good beating!"
"Bring it on then. Do you think I’m afraid of you? If you wish to punch me, then do it." I pursed my lips, courting death with a straight face.
"Who’s that?" Storm called from the background. He sounded far, which means he wasn’t in the room all along.
"It’s no one. I just—"
"Storm! It’s me! I came to check on you!" I pushed a stunned Theo out of the way, and ran into his room —uninvited.
"Hey!" Theo made to stop me, but I dodged.
"Storm, I brought dinner!" I raised the small bag I came with, "the fries are still warm. It’s best to enjoy it now." I smiled like a fool as I faced him.
Storm must have just exited the bathroom. Though he’s clothed, his hair is still wet.
Little droplets of water slide down his face, making me eager to..... Wipe them off with a towel.
He stared at my bag before he turned to Theo. "Let him be, Theo."
"What? You can’t necessarily—"
"Can you give us a moment? I need to speak to him —alone." He added before he turned to me.
I couldn’t contain my joy at his words. Though his eyes still have that hardness in them, it wasn’t able to exempt the fact that he wished to speak to me.
"Storm! What the hell are you aiming out? He was—"
Storm raised his hand, "a moment is all I ask for, Theo. I just need to tell him something." He said to him, with his focus on me.
Theo grumbled under his breath before he left the room, and banged the door behind me. Even on the other side of the door, I can feel his animosity.
"Why are you doing all this, Brys?" Storm narrowed his eyes at me. "It will be better if you stop this now. Forget that I confessed to you. Back then, I was too naive, but not any more." His cold voice caused me to shiver.
"I want to do it," I stubbornly closed the distance between us, and motioned for him to take the bag. "I refused to acknowledge your feelings back then because I was scared. But not any more. I’m going to court you until you give in. Be warned, I don’t give up, easily!" I forced him to take the bag before I turned, "have a pleasant night. I hope you enjoy the food. See you tomorrow," I turned and winked at him before I made to leave.
"I will start classes tomorrow." He murmured so low, I only heard it because my thoughts were on him.
"What did you say?" I turned to him, eager to have him repeat his words.
"Nothing!" He turned his back to me, still holding the bag I gave him. "I don’t wish to see you!"
A smile broke out on my face, "I never knew you were this cute."
"Shut up!"
And I did. With a smile at him, I strode out of the room and almost collided with Theo, who was eavesdropping.
His ears turned red when I caught him. He folded his arms, "are you through? I was almost coming —"
"Have a pleasant night, Theo. When everything is solved, I will treat you to dinner." I turned and left the dorm, intending to head over to the cafeteria to meet Ray.
"I’m here!" Fan appeared in front of me with a full-blown smile on his face. "Congratulations, Brys. You have unlocked a bonus!"
