Transmigrated As A Feisty Omega
Chapter 52: A resentful Alpha

Chapter 52: A resentful Alpha

I knocked on Storm’s door the moment I got to his dorm but got no reply. "Storm? Are you in there?" I asked as I knocked on the door. "It’s Str— it’s Brys. I’m here to check on you," I knocked once more, hoping he will come to the door, but nothing happened.

The corridor is empty because the others are either in their classes or the cafeteria; so, I don’t have to worry about disturbing anyone with my knocks.

"Storm, I—"

The door to his room opened, and a half-naked Storm stood on the other side with his arms folded, and his glares narrowed at me.

I swallowed as my eyes took in his skimpy excuse of a short, that did nothing to hide his... Ahem...

I immediately removed my eyes from his crotch and stared up to look at his chest. The wound from the knife stab has healed, leaving behind a small scar at the place.

I gulped, feeling guilty about it.

"What do you want?" His voice is low, yet, I can feel the animosity from the deep tone he used. His eyes have lost all the warmth he always has whenever he’s speaking to me. The Storm standing in front of me looked like the same one in the comic.

God of mercy.

Have I unleashed his hate system? Will he punch me in the face or throw me out of his window? Will he murder me and throw me into a ditch?

I shivered at the thoughts but hastily covered my fears with a smile. "I ... I... How are you doing?" I nervously swallowed as I tried not to look at him, fearing what I might see in that gaze.

I deserved it all for breaking his trust. He only confessed his love for me. Did I need to go to such an extreme just because of that? Was I blinded by my intense hatred of his character long before I transmigrated?

"Why? Are you scared I will seek revenge now that I’m still alive?" He took a step towards me, "are you here to finish what you started?" His voice sounded so bitter, it broke my heart. It made it seem like each of his words was a knife, stabbing continuously at my bleeding heart.

"No!" I swallowed as I finally stared into his eyes. "I’m sorry! I know I shouldn’t have done what I did. That’s why I’m here, to apologize." I raised the bag of food I got for him, "I saw Theo at the cafeteria, so I deduced you are hungry and —"

"Go to hell!" He took a step back and banged the door in my face. "I don’t wish to see you... ever."

I gasped as I clutched my chest. Why do I feel this way? Why does my heart feel weak?

I know.

It’s because, despite the stupid system and the task I was given, I have somehow managed to fall for him. That was why I stabbed him. I panicked that I will fall into the same trap as Brys who loved him so much.

That was the reason I had to stupidly do the first thing that came to mind. And not only that, but I mocked him and left him in the pool of his blood —to die.

I’m such a horrible person. I’m not as strong as I always said I am. I’m a weak, pathetic soul who’s afraid of getting hurt. I don’t deserve Storm.

After all, he has been through, I only added more problems for him. I leaned my head on the wall and closed my eyes as I tried to think of how to proceed.

Storm doesn’t like me any more. I don’t think I can go through with this. I will just have to ask Fan to kill me. That’s the only way forward. I can’t do this any more.

I give up.

I heard footsteps but didn’t open my eyes. It’s likely one of the Alphas returning to his room, or Theo coming to check on Storm.

"Did you hear?" An unfamiliar voice asked. His voice sounded rough. It was either he’s dehydrated or he’s one of those stupid Alphas that smoke.

I just don’t get it. It’s not as if their cigarettes are like the ones produced on Earth. It’s practically a twig of a tree that gives out smoke —smoke tree.

"Heard what?" Another asked. This one’s voice didn’t sound half as rough as that of the first, but his voice didn’t sound friendly at all.

I peeked an eye open to know who they were. Three Alphas with blonde hair and identical green eyes stood not far from where I was. They all had their green shirts and blue slacks on.

Aside from how rowdy they dressed, they looked decent.

"Six Omegas were taken the past week. According to the teachers, they were taken at the same time, something that hasn’t happened before!"

"Serious?"

"How did you hear of it? What happened? Don’t tell me you overheard it like the last one."

"Of course, I did. The teachers were discussing it when I passed their staff room."

My heart skipped a beat.

With everything that has been happening, I have forgotten about the Omegas.

The ones that were taken, haven’t been found. Yet others are being taken. I touched my hair. Will Ray and I be victims of these kidnappers if nothing is done?

The Omegas with red hair in the school are dwindling by the day. Before long, it will—

"What a sweet smell. Hmm, Strawberry." One of them sniffed the air, "Goddess, I have not perceived such a sweet, delectable smell before."

What?

I glanced at them as I gulped. Almost at the same time, they all turned to look at me.

"Hey, pretty Omega," one of the Alphas smirked as he gave me a once-over.

It felt like insects were crawling on my body the more he leered at my body. I gulped. I need to get out of here. I don’t think I can fight off three Alphas.

"What a pretty Omega, he’s too cute, don’t you think?" He laughed as the others approached me, with malicious glints in their eyes.
