Luis widened his eyes upon feeling the fast and loud beating of Xagrien’s heart.

He snappily raised his head and saw Xagrien’s blushing face. The male’s eyes looked as if he was drunk by the way his gaze was fixed on Luis’ face.

"The dangers are gone now, my lord. Don’t you think that you owe me something?"

"W-what?" Luis tried to feign ignorance but his voice ultimately failed him, it cracked. The confidence that he thought he had vanished right when it counts.

"You told me back when you were trying to save me that you like me. I want to confirm if it’s the same as what I am feeling for you. Do you feel your heart raising as fast as mine whenever we are this close?" Xagrien asked while he was pinning Luis’ hands on his chest.

It was a checkmate for the moon elf lord.

The moon elf lord lost his cool. This man didn’t give him the cheesiest and the most romantic statement but it went straight to his heart, making him feel alive. Xagrien didn’t promise him to give him the sun or the moon or any other exaggerated promises but instead, it was a very honest and straightforward declaration.

’Oh, shit.’

Is it still normal for him to feel happy? For such a short period of time, his emotions, whenever he is with this guy, are on a deadly roller coaster ride. ’Will I be diagnosed as clinically Bipolar after this?’

Fuck it. His confidence once again skyrocketed. The obvious wanting from Xagrien sent shivers down to his spine and he is loving the feeling. The look on Xagrien’s face is urging him to let go all of his inhibitions.

Luis let go a heavy exhale. ’Why look so desperate, Xagrien?’

"You also told me that you will never say that you are in love with me. Why don’t you want to say it, my lord?" Xagrien asked, he subconsciously put great importance on this on this matter. He felt that it will be the death of him if he failed to hear the bearer’s positive response about falling in love with him.

"What should I do to make you want to say it?" Xagrien said almost pleadingly or maybe it is from Luis’ point of view.

’Ah, I once again lost,’ and from there, the moon elf lord decided not to be selfish this time.

"Okay, I will explain what I really felt for you so you should listen very carefully." Xagrien nodded.

However, the moon elf lord didn’t say anything because he decided to speak loudly and clearly using his actions.

Luis cupped Xagrien’s gorgeous face and planted a kiss right on the male’s lips.

Xagrien widened his eyes as this time, the moon elf lord shocked him with the kiss.

The green light of Luis’ power intensified until it created floating green orbs around him like a firefly. Xagrien’s injuries instantly vanished and his lips that were pale earlier turned rosy because of the moving lips of the moon elf lord.

Luis himself was not a professional when it comes to kissing. He never even got to make out back then but that doesn’t mean that he is ignorant on how to kiss someone.

Who would know that he trained himself with a pillow? He will never tell anyone that he is that desperate even to this moon elf that he really liked.

Therefore, he doesn’t have any technique so he doesn’t have a but to pour his feelings to every movements of his lips. It was nice and slow but it is an honest kiss.

The emotion containing in this one simple act is already mind blowing.

With his lips tingling from the sensation, Luis pulled away from the kiss and he faced the still-shocked Xagrien. The male’s blush turned deeper red against his tanned skin.

"I like you, you brute. While it is true that I am attracted to you because of how you look, I know now that this is not just superficial." Luis said, a smile is threatening to appear on his face. He would be a hypocrite if he said that he is only for the sexy body and gorgeous face of this moon elf.

Why would he even push himself to madness all because he is worried for this male’s well-being when he is just horny for this male?

Even the awareness of his own body that he honed during the apocalypse flew outside the window all because of his wanting to save Xagrien.

He can never forgive himself if he let this gorgeous man die in front of him. Luis Lee is finally certain about that. "I like you Xagrien as much as I wanted you."

Right, Luis hopelessly liked Xagrien. It may be too early to say that he loves him but at this point, he wanted to become somebody to this innocent male god. Since he got this far, he doesn’t want to be ’just’ the moon elf lord for Xagrien.

"There are many times that I thought you are not interested in me so I did my best not to overthink the reason why you are making me so nervous. But hell, I will always see myself looking for you even if there is a crowd in front of me. Only you can make my heart this fast," Luis ultimately confessed. "You better get yourself ready. Because this lord like you so strongly. I might attack you!"

"En," He could see the excitement that was reflected in Xagrien’s eyes so he once again tiptoed and planted a kiss on Xagrien’s lips.

Luis’ movements were soft and gentle as if he was teasing. It was a kissed that is full of sweetness, a kiss that is fitting for first timers like them.

Luis stopped and then said. "Let’s not focus on the part of falling in love. We will slowly get there."

"Okay, my lord," Xagrien answered almost impatiently.

Seeing the eagerness on Xagrien’s face, he decided to kiss him once again.

However, Luis remembered something very essential so he halted his advancing lips to Xagrien’s dismay.

"And besides, if you really want me to love you, don’t keep me in the dark! Don’t even think of heading towards a life-threatening situation without me! I don’t want you to make me feel headless with worry from now on, Xagrien!" Luis said strictly and the male nodded his head "yes".

"While we still don’t have a potion that will work for you, I will be your personal healer. Do you understand that?"

Xagrien nodded and something flashed in his eyes. He is actually thankful for this weakness of his since this lead them to this situation and he doesn’t mind using it again if it works like a charm.

Luis didn’t notice anything.

He asked in a velvety tone. "Anyway, Do you want to be my lover? My boyfriend? The only person whom I will say ’I like you?"

The moon elf lord then planted fleeting kisses on Xagrien’s lips as he asked those questions one by one. He swear that he never sounded this flirty to anyone even if he considered his past life. Seeing that it has an effect on the male based on the glint of his eyes, he temptingly moved on Xagrien’s cheeks. "And the only male that I will kiss like this?"

In response to the moon elf lord’s question and the painful edging that he suffered since earlier, Xagrien suddenly made a powerful move and straddled his bearer.

"Ah! Shit!" Luis yelled in surprise. "What the hell Xagrien?"

His heart almost dropped straight to his stomach!

"Being your lover means that you will be my bearer, right?" Xagrien asked with an obvious smile on his face.

Luis nodded while he hooked his arms around Xagrien’s nape in order to keep him in place.

"Then you are not allowed to look for other males, right?" The male asked so seriously that Luis thought his life depends on it.

"Well, that’s negotiable. That depends on your performance." Luis chose to answer playfully. He sighed. How ironic that he listed the red flags of this male and yet he is here, kissing and straddling this male. But looking directly at the tantalizing purple eyes that is glowing all for him, ’It was worth it,’ Luis thought smilingly.

"What performance?" Xagrien asked with his forehead creased. His bearer is talking vaguely again. But he let it go since now, he is certain that has the time and opportunity to learn more about his bearer.

’My bearer...’ Xagrien’s eyes showed mischief and satisfaction. He likes the sound of that.

"You will know that once the right time comes." The moon elf lord smirked while he caressed Xagrien’s collarbones.

This simple gesture made Xagrien’s purple eyes darker before he could even stop himself. Xagrien likes the electrifying feeling that his moon elf lord’s lips giving him. He is slowly but strongly getting addicted on the sweet and pink mouth of Luis. With a promise that he will not himself back, he pounced on the moon elf lord’s lips and kissed him, pouring the rawest desire that his bearer ignited.

Their lips danced with each other. Enveloping the each other with passion as their lips danced the dance that they swore to do with just each other.

After that, Xagrien and Luis spent their first night as lovers in Xagrien’s home. Kissing and making out, then casual talks. Both of them is in a state of bliss.

But when he opens his eyes. He find himself in a different place.
