Dusk is approaching so the sunlight is not that intense. It was gentle and warm.

All of a sudden, a full sound that came from an artifact disturbed the stillness of the forest.

Legland, Nicol and the others finally heard the signal from the moon elf lord.

They have been waiting for the horn to sound with bated breath ever since the moon elf lord left.

Based on their agreed arrangements earlier, Xagrien and his group are standing on the low walls of the maze. Waiting for the moment the root crawlers come pouring out of the entrance.

"Stay alert everyone! They should be coming anytime soon!" Xagrien shouted.

The bearer has succeeded in his plans. He finally can heave a sigh of relief.

Now it was up to them.

"Yes!" Moon elves and orcs all replied in chorus.

In their hands are their weapons. There is a tingling sensation in their stomach as the anticipation is brewing inside them

On the other hand, the children and everyone from the temple are standing by. All according to the moon elf lord’s arrangements.

Priests and sentinels are all mounting the tall circular wall on the outside, monitoring the status of the maze.

"They will be fine, don’t worry," Legland said after seeing the nervousness on the orc children’s faces. The moon elf lord trusted him with the safety of these kids. They looked at them one by one.

"That’s expected from a four-star warrior," answered an adjacent sentinel.

Kalux, a skillful earth power warrior, was riding on fast waves on the ground. He used his earth power to make the ground viscous and move it the way he wanted to.

The root crawlers who stepped on this ground had no choice but to tumble. The male moon elf didn’t waste such an opportunity and immediately spring hundreds of fine earth needles from the ground.

The poor root crawlers flew like a bullet due to the massive force of that single kick.

"What are you doing? You overused your powers when you have your saber with you? Are you missing your brain or something?" Gab, who was in his semi-beast form, asked confusedly.

Semi-beast is the second form of transformation among orcs. Their head assumes the figure of the wolf while their body structure is the same as that of a man.

It is mixed of their full beast form and their humanoid form. In this shape, their body mass becomes magnified. They stand on their two legs and their arm muscles are massive. Their ten fingers are equipped with sharp claws.

It was their perfect form for combat.

"We killed a lot of these pests but it is not decreasing at all!" Hares retracted his lethal water whip. He reached for his spear on his back and he adeptly brandished his weapon.

Most of them are using their powers and weapons alternately to conserve their energy.

"It was so hard to conjure water while we were in the middle of the forest! I can barely handle it!" He ranted while his glowing blue eyes were laced with annoyance.

He is not the only one. All moon elves who are using their powers are shining at this moment.

Blue, red, brown and explosive purple lights are shining brightly amid these black waves of root crawlers. Legland and Nicol’s eyes are witnessing this full of wonder.

"One four-star and three-star warriors and most of them are two-star warriors, yet they can handle thousands of these beasts.
