There's Something Wrong With You, My Lord!

Chapter 232: The Moon Elf Lord is here (2)

Knowing that his beloved moon elves were waiting for him, Luis didn’t hesitate to prepare to go back to Woodrill City. If there is something that he realized during his short stay in the Redhill territory, then it is the fact the preparation was easy, but saying goodbye was hard. The folks of the metal clan helped him every step of the way, from preparing the steel that would be used for the construction to the local foods and products that Luis would take as souvenirs. The folks from the metal clans ensured that nothing would give him the hassle.

But that doesn’t mean they wanted him to leave. In fact, Luis could read in their eyes and the subtle hesitation in their action that they wanted him to stay, but he knew that that wouldn’t be ideal, knowing that others needed him as the Moon Elf Lord.

That’s why Luis asked them if they wanted to be involved in building the infrastructure in the Redhill territory, and to no surprise, they agreed.

Thus, when they stood in the transportation circle, together with hundreds of tons of heavy steel, Luis returned with more than two hundred strong metal-power moon elves.

To be aware that there are people aside from his baby’s daddy who support, care, and love him unconditionally made him feel warm in his chest. Luis even felt the moistening of the corner of his eyes. What else can he blame? The pregnancy hormone makes him emotionally sensitive. What can he do about it?

Luis felt the butterflies in his stomach fluttering. That’s why when the light of the transportation circle started to engulf them, he grabbed Xagrien’s hand hard and squeezed like he was extracting lemon juice.

"The butterfly in my stomach is especially violent this time," or so Luis thought.

The unsuspecting Moon Elf Lord didn’t realize that he was on board for a pants-related incident until he was stung with the nausea of the transportation circle.

The processed corpses of the delicious food that he had earlier are knocking on the back door to be released!

Luis couldn’t afford to have a nasty incident in front of the two hundred faithful supporters, so the light of the transportation circle subsided and revealed the familiar sight of Woodrill City.

He flew to the sky like an eagle, swift and unstoppable.

All he left to his subordinates, specifically to Legland, was the instruction to give the folks from the Redhill Peaks a comfortable place to rest. And as for Xagrien...

Well, it was no doubt that he would come after him. Thus, he flew with great speed towards the infirmary to do his worldly business.

But when he came to the infirmary and was ready to release his stress, he was welcomed by a crowd of his subordinates from afar.

"Damn! Talk about a bad first impression!" Luis whispered-slash-shouted inside the toilet. As a living being, he couldn’t stop his biological needs; thus, he bit the bullet and immediately ran toward the toilet after bidding a very respectable hi and hello to them.

"Gosh, Luis! Why did you have to announce you are taking a shit in the first place!? You should have known that this is an infirmary, and it is natural that it wasn’t just Rean who was present!"

"You are so stupid, Luis!"

"How could you not keep the majesty of the Moon Elf Lord?"

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Three knocks suddenly disturbed his wallowing in self-deprecation.

"My beloved lord, are you done handling your little business? Puff!" Xagrien’s voice suddenly sounded from the other side of the door. The male adonis, who happens to be his mate, didn’t bother to hide the laughter in his voice, and Luis had the urge to go out and pinch the twin nipples of the man.

"Not yet! I am dying out of shame so that I will be digging my grave here!"

Luis responded with his face flushed. The man on the other side became silent.

"Luis," Xagrien suddenly spoke in his serious voice. Luis’ ears flinched, and he felt a strong, dreadful feeling that the man was angry. And he is not far from being correct.

"Don’t ever say such an ominous thing. Just thinking of it happening to you is enough to drive me to madness. I can’t afford to lose any of the three of you."

Luis immediately understood that he messed up. Badly.

"I am sorry, and I will listen to my mate," he said meekly. "I will take care of myself and ensure we will stay together for eternity—together with the family we are building now."

On the other side of the door, Xagrien had long calmed down his emotion.

One of the many things he loves about Luis is that he never hesitates to apologize. He knows where to place his pride, and he never lets it drag him around.

"Alright. I love you," Xagrien said to the bearer, who locked himself in the bathroom. "The patriarchs left the infirmary under my advice, so you don’t have to worry about facing them for now."

"I love you," the door creaked, and Luis came out, face flushed.

"You are sweating so hard. Did you have a hard time letting it out?" Xagrien mischievously asked as he wiped Luis’ face with a clean handkerchief.

"Yah!" Luis swatted the man’s hand away. It was a very gentle swat that not even a fly will be nauseous once hit. At least now, he knew that Xagrien was not angry. Joking about death is definitely not okay. Luis knew that best as he faced lots of it during the apocalypse.

And their present situation is not much different. As the days continue to pass, the time before that dreaded end is approaching.

Luis knows that he needs to step up in all aspects before that day comes.

"I think I need to study how to be shameless again."

"Baby, I think you are focusing at the wrong point."

Now calm and collected, Luis waltzed his way while latching to Xagrien’s arm to meet his subordinates he hadn’t seen for quite a while.

"My lord! Welcome back!" Olyn, Nicol, the young moon elf from Hyon Clan named Jiro, and Rean greeted him warmly.

This time, Luis responded with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. However, he also noticed something he had overlooked earlier at the height of his shame and bodily need to poop.

"Holy— what happened to this young man? Why is he injured so badly like this?" Luis’ heart was racing as he immediately activated his Healer’s Touch skill.

He had never seen anyone this badly injured from head to toe, even after the battle against Lord Isami Koiloda and his army of root crawlers and the stone giant.

The green light of his wood powers flooded inside the room, and by far, it was the densest concentration of energy that he let out as far as the Healer’s Touch skill was concerned.

However, Xagrien suddenly grabbed his wrist to stop him. "It is best if you pump him with life energy first. Don’t touch the wounds first because I feel a familiar residue from them."

Luis and Xagrien looked at each other, and the couple silently had a tacit understanding.

"Alright." And Luis retracted his healing powers, and he immediately utilized the power of his sigil to give life energy to the poor and weakened moon elf.

"I will call Xerxes to ask for his advice."

"Ah, My lord!" They suddenly heard a young man calling Luis. It was Jiro, raising his hand like he was doing a recitation. "Xerxes is the mysterious man in a black hooded cloak, right? Please let me call him in Master Xagrien’s stead."

"My Lord, Jiro is the fastest warrior in our clan. I can guarantee you that he will execute the order brilliantly!" Olyn said as a support.

The sigil and the life energy already occupy his mental strength, so he cannot use his telepathy to call Xerxes. "Okay then. Please summon him as soon as possible."

Olyn and Nicol teamed up to explain the entire situation. Xagrien, on the other hand, is pointing out that natural matters like earth or stone must create the wounds. He also stressed that he felt a hint of magic left in the wounds.

While Luis is silently listening, his mind tries to put reason behind every detail in the story, and the only recurring thought that appears to him is that they are under attack.

It is impossible to assume that it was an internal dispute among their group or that a rival group of wanderers attacked him because the young man specifically asked for him, the Moon Elf Lord. These wanderers have serious issues with how they view themselves, as seen by the Lune Clan when they first met. They are not the type who will run to the Moon Elf Lord for help. That is unless they face something that is out of their common sense.

"I firmly believe that this faint circle right here is a magic circle. However, I don’t know what it is," Xagrien said to Luis, his eyes reflecting profundity.

Not long later, Jiro came wheezing, with Xerxes gliding through the air like a ghost. Xagrien didn’t waste time and pointed out the small faint circle to the newcomer.

And to his surprise, he saw the mighty and prideful Blizzard Dragon’s hand trembling.

"I thought I was mistaken, but I am not. Moon Elf Lord, you must prepare. Those bastards are here." he said with undisguised fury.
