The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system
Chapter 483 - 483 Other men and the dragon

483: Other men and the dragon.

483: Other men and the dragon.

Alix was like a fool with zero sense of self preservation otherwise, she would have noticed the look chicken was giving her.

Only Caishen was stopping it from ripping her apart.

She brought the chick to Caishen and showed it off proudly before turning to Zhang Bo and doing the same thing.

When she tried to show it to the boys, they took five steps back.

“I am not coming anywhere near that thing.” Zhang Bo also took similar steps back while keeping an eye on the death machine, as he called the hen.

“Honey, put the chick down, she is not a toy.” Caishen told Alix.

He took it from her hands carefully and then placed it on the ground.

Chicken, as Alix called her clucked angrily at Alix, then guided her chick back to the nest.

Zhang Bo felt safer as the chicken walked away, so he walked back and told her, “I am willing to bet that death machine has cursed you out and probably told you to go and have your own baby.” She stood motionless and shook her head.

“I don’t know why chicken doesn’t like me.

I provide her favorite foods, play soothing music for her and my money contributed to the comfortable life she is living.

Why does she like Caishen but not me?” “Maybe because you took her from her original home and brought her here.

Or maybe because she doesn’t like your face.

Sister-in-law, your temper is not…” “Shut up.” Caishen kicked Bo on the back of his thigh.

Zhang Bo dodged and laughed.

“Now that you have the use of your legs back your old habits have returned.

Little brother, let’s tone it down, i am a chairman now.” Caishen sneered playfully at his brother.

At his age, he was still as playful as a teenager.

Nobody that knew him personally could believe that he was the chairman of Zhang group.

He didn’t carry himself that way in private.

Alix was ignoring the brothers and she was still thinking about chicken, wondering how she had a baby when their were no roosters at home.

“Keep in mind that she is not an ordinary hen from your earth.

Maybe you should increase the security of your house just in case the bureau decides to steal the hen or the chick.

If they could help themselves to your apples, they can help….” The helpful system was answering her query when it came to a halt.

Alix screamed and covered her eyes “Aaaaaahhh..” Majesty had dashed out of nowhere heading straight for the nest.

Alix covered her eyes because she didn’t want to see the bloody sight that she was sure was to follow.

The little chick was about to be gobbled up.

Loud clucking and screams in the room confirmed Alix’s fears.

“Oh Majesty, what have you done?” she whispered.

She peeked through her fingers slowly, preparing to see a bloody sight, perhaps.

Instead, she saw Majesty on the floor, licking his paws and some red drops of blood on the white tiled floor.

“Majesty, bad kitty.” Caishen picked up the cat.

“What happened?” Alix dropped her hands and asked him.

Zhang Bo, the ever so helpful one peeked forward and told her, “I believe kung fu death machine has just kicked the orange fatty’s ass in the battle of greed for the little chick.” Alix opened her mouth and closed it.

Her brothers were laughing fitfully behind, very excited by the so called battle.

She on the other hand was not excited and all she wanted to do was ask Zhang Bo if he had always been an idiot or an aspiring comedian.

“Now that that thing has reproduced, can we finally eat the death machine?” Zhang Bo licked his lips.

“No.” Caishen and Alix answered at the same time.

“It’s from that place, you know, from our discussion earlier.” Caishen added.

He and Zhang Bo had had the system talk although his brother was not a believer.

Of course, if Caishen had not lived with Alix and witnessed the things he had before finally being brought into the fold, he would not believe it either.

“Right, the system.” Zhang Bo said, using air quotes when he said system.

Caishen realized it was time to prove his words with actions.

“You three, go and set the table.” he sent the boys away and closed the door for privacy, “Honey, do your thing.” He rubbed his hands and prepared to see his brother fainting.

Alix sighed tiredly.

She could suddenly sympathize with all those animals in the zoo that had to perform for the entertainment of humans at the command of their masters.

Maybe this was why system hosts with morphing abilities preferred to stay in the hidden city.

If you were captured, maybe you would end up being enslaved by an evil circus master and forced to morph over and over.

She did what she had done earlier, changing only her head to dragon form.

She expected only Zhang Bo to be stunned but Caishen jumped back as well.

“What?” she asked and chuckled.

“You didn’t specify what you wanted.”  It was creepy enough to see a half dragon-half human but watching it talk was even more bizarre.

“What the hell is that?

Are you sure that it’s not a costume or some….this is is….oh God!” Zhang Bo bellowed.

“I am out of here.” “Nope.” Caishen held him by the waist and pulled him back.

“At least he hasn’t fainted like you hubby.” Alix said and then she completed the change, turning into a full dragon.

In order not to scare Zhang Bo too much, she shrunk until she was as small as a baby dragon.

She then flew up and landed on Zhang Bo’s shoulder.

Before she could find balance, she was plucked by the tail and transferred to Caishen’s shoulder.

“I didn’t tell you to sit on other men.” Caishen grumbled unhappily.

Zhang Bo’s eyes were wild, and he sneered at his foolish younger brother.

Of all things to concentrate on at this moment was this the most important one?

Who cared whose shoulder Alix the dragon was sitting on?
