The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system
Chapter 470 - 470 Alix in spoiled daughter mood

470: Alix in spoiled daughter mood.

470: Alix in spoiled daughter mood.

Alix was being fussed over by the two women when the dress maker’s assistant returned.

“Mother, i keep becoming prettier everyday, don’t i?” She asked cheekily.

“Aiya, i have spoiled you so much that you have become a little narcissist.” Auntie Mo laughed.

Her laugh held a deep dotting quality which was also in her eyes as she looked at her daughter.

She did admit to herself that Alix was getting prettier by the day indeed, she had the freshness and aura of a twenty year old.

“Did you steal some water from a fountain of youth?” she joked.

“Should i give you some?” Alix joked as well.

“Something is wrong.” Yura informed them both and they turned their heads around just in time to see the manager rush out angrily.

The next thing they heard were loud angry raised voices coming from the dressing room to the right and then someone barged into Alix’s dressing room.

It was a woman who was shouting very loudly and rudely.

“I said i won’t take them off, i can just buy them from the owner.

Who is it?”  That woman was followed by another one, an older shrewish woman that was also shouting.

“How dare you treat us like this?

A small wedding dress sales girl like you dares to force my daughter to take off her shoes.

Do you know who we are?

Do you know that we can buy this whole shop and you?” Yura tilted her head and laughed.

“I would love to know who you are.”  The younger one was already quiet, stunned into silence when she saw the faces of Alix, Yura and auntie Mo.

The older woman had not seen them and she only noticed them when Yura spoke up.

The dressmaker could sense that trouble was brewing and she wanted to rectify the matter immediately.

“Madams, these shoes belong to this client.

You should not have tried them on in the first place and i am going to fire the girl that gave them to you.

Please, take them off.”  “Madam Yura…” The older woman laughed nervously.

“Yu Xiuling, you have become more brazen with the years.

What, you can afford to buy this shop and the people in it?” Yura laughed mockingly.

Auntie Mo didn’t care about the older woman and all she saw were the custom made shoes on the feet of the younger woman.

“Who gave you the right to wear my daughter’s shoes?”  “Madam Mo…” The older woman grimaced.

“It was a mistake, the salesgirl said that Xiangxiang could try the shoes on briefly.

We didn’t mean to cause any trouble..” “It wasn’t me, you pushed me and forcefully grabbed the shoes.” The accused sales girl denied and defended herself.

“Being Du Chen’s mistress has really got to your mind Yu Xiuling.

You have even become brave enough to go around threatening people in public as you wish.

I wonder if he knows about your behaviour and that you are tarnishing his name.” Yura sneered at the older woman.

Alix sharpened her mouth and stared at the older and younger woman that were filled with shame.

They were also very afraid now, frightened by Yura’s words.

Du Chen, she knew was the name of Du Fuzi’s father.

What she didn’t know was that the investment and banking mogul had a mistress on the side and a grown daughter that was about to get married.

She was still digesting this scandalous information when out of the side of her eye, she saw auntie Mo pushing the younger woman down into a chair.

“You, come and take the shoes off her feet.” She shouted at the dressmaker.

All too willingly, the dressmaker hurried to rip the shoes off the feet of the younger woman.

One of her nails accidentally scratched the woman’s left foot but the dressmaker didn’t care.

This mother-daughter pair had created trouble for her.

“Madam, here are your shoes…”  Alix sat down and rejected them.

It wasn’t just a verbal disagreement but she curled her feet as well.

Putting on these shoes after somebody else’s sweaty or smelly feet had already danced in them was a reminder of the fact that she wore Billi’s shoes on the day of her first wedding.

That was one of the things she would never forget in her life.

The pain and humiliation….

“No, i don’t want them anymore.”  Picking a leaf from Zhang An, she used her feet to further kick them away.

“Mother, i don’t want them.” She rejected them again and this time, even her eyes welled up and Alix sulked in a manner she had not sulked before.

She didn’t care if she was being unreasonable but no matter what anyone said or did, she would not be putting on those shoes.

Auntie Mo and Yura had certainly never seen her like this.

Auntie Mo glared at the young woman who had helped herself to the shoes before rushing to Alix’s side and comforting her.

“It’s okay, pretty baby, you don’t have to wear them if you don’t want.

Mother will get you new shoes, prettier and more expensive shoes.

I can buy you an entire shoe store and you will never have to repeat the same shoes for a single day for the rest of your life.”  “Take them away and burn them.

My daughter-in-law never uses things other people have worn.

I have told you to set them on fire, so make sure you do because if i find out that you secretly sold them, i will not be nice.” Yura both commanded and threatened the dressmaker.

She remembered all too well how Alix had rejected the clothes she had prepared for Lin Billi as Billi was the one Caishen was supposed to marry.

Even though they were brand new, Alix had refused to so much as look at them.

She had worn the same clothes she had on the day before and she would have worn them for one more week as long as she didn’t wear what was meant for Billi.

The dressmaker picked up the shoes with a pained look on her face.

The shoes were worth at least one and a half million yuan.

Even though these people had money, did they have to burn it?

Burning the shoes to her was equal to burning money.

She was strongly tempted not to burn them and keep them for her own daughter as long as they could fit her.

If they couldn’t she would find a way to sell them overseas.

But when she thought about Yura’s threat, she was frightened.

It was better to burn them than to get on madam Yura’s bad side.

“Apologize to my daughter.” Auntie Mo pointed at the young woman.

The woman seemed unwilling and she started crying.

She reminded Alix so much of Billi that Alix had to clench her fist to stop herself from hitting her.

“Apologize.” Yura barked.

Mother and daughter were startled and their shoulders jumped.

“I…I..

I am…sorry.” the young woman squeezed out an apology and then she shoved one of the dressmaker’s assistants and run out of the dressing room.

Her mother followed after her quickly, calling out her daughter’s name.

But the young woman was not the only one in tears.

Alix had officially entered her spoiled era and there was no stopping it so she was also in tears.

“Boohoo!” she cried, “Mother, my shoes.”  “It’s okay, mother will punish that bad girl and buy you new shoes.” Auntie Mo continued to comfort.

But Alix cried even louder, unexpectedly and the two older woman couldn’t understand why.

Like a child in the middle of an outburst she cried for a good thirty minutes before calming down.

By that time, all the Tai’s and Zhang’s had been updated on the fact that she was crying because someone helped themselves to her shoes and grandpa Tai was all but ready to attack Du Chen.
