The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system -
Chapter 469 - 469 Memories
469: Memories.
469: Memories.
Alix thought about that dressing room and wondered if she would have to use the same one as she did back then.
Did she pick this same venue because she wanted to make a point or because it was beautiful and despite what happened last time, it was worth it to have her wedding here?
“Let’s make better memories.” Yura put a hand on her shoulder and squeezed it lightly.
“Do not dwell on the memories of the past or they will pull you down into a sewer of hatred.” She was hinting at Alix’s continued attacks on the Lin’s.
Even Jing Hee was now hospitalized, having been attacked by thieves that beat her up brutally, breaking her hands and all of her fingers.
She spoke out of worry, wondering how long Alix intended to continue with the revenge mission.
She did admire her perseverance however because everytime Billi was about to leave the hospital, Alix made sure she stayed there.
According to aunt Wang, Alix had told Caishen that it didn’t matter if she paid the medical bills personally, she would keep Billi hospitalized and in pain for the rest of her life.
She would touch any part of her body as she pleased but not her eyes and mind, as she wanted Billi to watch and see life passing by her.
She would live to see Alix have children, grandchildren, receive awards, become a succesful businesswoman and live a full life while she grew old alone in a hospital bed.
“Pretty baby, what kind of flowers do you want?” “Red, white or gold, and they should be flowing down from the ceiling.
I want a trellis wedding arch, there and there.
The place where we say the vows should have tree with flowers.
I saw it in a magazine, the couple said their vows under the tree even though it was an indoor wedding.” Alix described what she had seen online.
The two mothers took notes, tilting their heads at the tree part.
It was excessive but it was a problem for the decorator to figure out.
The decorator was following them silently and taking notes too.
She was also taking pictures in every direction Alix pointed.
“Mother, the walkway should have flowers too, i want the venue to look like a fairy world.” “Have you ever seen a fairy world dear?” Yura asked her.
Alix nodded.
“In movies mother-in-law, i have seen it in movies.
People also do fairy themed weddings which are very lovely, with lights and…..” Her eyes sparkled and she turned to her mother.
“Mother, lights, let’s not forget about the lights.
I have a lot of beautiful decorative lights in my mall.” “What else do you want dear?” “I want a cake, a big cake.
It must match the fairytale theme so it should have a small castle on top.
There should be a prince in the castle and a blue dragon outside that has come to rescue him.” Yura’s pen dropped to the ground.
Auntie Mo helped her pick it up and shrugged at her friend.
Alix didn’t notice their bewilderment and she just continued on with her description of her ideal wedding cake.
“Or maybe the whole cake should be castle shaped.
It should be this big.” She spread her arms out wide to make her point.
“Can we add butterflies to it?
The kids will be very excited if the cake has butterflies that are moving.” “Daughter, does son-in-law know about this?” Auntie Mo asked.
There was a thin line between fairytale wedding theme and halloween party.
Alix nodded.
“I told him about it and he told me to do what makes me happy because this wedding is all about me.” She twirled for no reason and stopped.
“Mother, mother-in-law, should we consider turning it into an outdoor wedding?
A fairytale theme will come to life outside.
We can even have a pond and swans.” “We can have swans in the wedding hall Madam Alix, just two of them standing under the tree while you say your vows.” “Awesome.” Alix shot her a thumbs up.
“Dear, don’t you think it might be too much?
What if the swans make noise while you are saying your vows?
What if they poop on your dress or suddenly go crazy and attack you?” Auntie Mo asked her.
“We will do additions and eliminations as we go along Mo Qilu, just let her describe her ideal wedding venue for now.” Yura stopped auntie Mo who was frowning.
“The hotel is responsible for baking your cake.
What flavors do you want besides chocolate?” Alix and auntie Mo laughed.
The word chocolate had been right on the tip of Alix’s tongue.
“You beat me to it mother-in-law.
Mmm, i like chocolate and Caishen likes vanilla, coconut and lemons.
We can go with three flavors, chocolate for me, coconut for my hubby and red velvet or strawberry for the guests.” Decisively, they went through all the wedding related things which the hotel was in charge of.
Alix didn’t even get the chance to think about the first wedding again.
With new memories being formed, the old ones were pushed to the back quickly.
Yura saw to it that she was assigned a different dressing room, one in which no Lin had ever stepped.
From there, the three women paid a visit to the dress maker for Alix to try on her wedding dress and shoes.
Since both families were wealthy, they had two choices between an imported wedding dress and a custom made one.
Alix had gone with a custom made dress from one of the most luxurious dress makers in the city.
Besides Alix, there were three other brides to be in the shop, similarly trying on dresses.
Alix chose not to try on the shoes first so when she made an appearance in the dress, she was barefoot and very nervous.
The design of this dress was one she picked out herself.
“How is it?” Auntie Mo gasped and covered her mouth while Yura took pictures immediately.
“You were smart to pick the off white sleeveless satin wedding gown with pearls.
It’s much more elegant than i expected.” Yura moved her eyes over the dress appreciatively.
She thought Alix’s taste was not good when it came to the dress since it wasn’t pure white but this was even better than a white dress.
Behind Alix, the dressmaker sighed in relief.
The dress was for a bride from a wealthy family who was already married into another wealthy family.
If she messed it up, her reputation would be smudged.
She peeked around Alix and said, “We can add more pearls.” “No.” Both Yura and auntie Mo rejected.
“Too much of anything is always bad.” Yura added for clarification.
“She will need long gloves though, lace will be better and the veil should be long, simple and flat.” Staring pointendly at the dressmaker Yura emphasized, “Simple, not cheap.
Bring out the shoes now, we need to see how the complete outfit will look so that we can make any adjustments quickly.” The dressmaker had two assistants and one of them hurried out to bring the shoes only to return less than a minute later with wide eyes and a frightened look in eyes.
