463: Alix vs Majesty.

Following their nightly routine, when Alix and Caishen got into bed, one of them started a conversation about the affairs of the day.

Since she was the one with a lot to discuss, Alix went first.

“Hubby, do you also regret missing out on seeing Nana being thrown out of the old mansion?

Aah, if only i had been there to….”  Meow, meow.

She had forgotten all about the orange cat which had insisted on following them to bed.

It was a big bed and both of their cats were sleeping on one side while the couple cuddled closely on another side.

What they didn’t expect was for one of their cats to feel the need to contribute to the conversation, aggressively.

“I would pull her hair and kick her then take a piss on her face and rip that crazy bitch to pieces.”  Not only was Majesty loudly expressing this but he was also scratching the blankets.

Alix sat up and tossed a pillow at the cat hitting it on its furry buttocks.

“Shut up Majesty and if you say bitch one more time i will be the one giving you a new haircut.

Close your eyes like a good kitty and go to sleep.”  The cat kicked the pillow off the bed and mumbled, “Who can sleep when your mouth won’t stop moving?”  Alix growled and Caishen pulled her back down by her shoulders.

“It’s okay, cats will be cats.” he told her.

While he found it amusing that his wife and her cat regularly fought, he also had something to discuss with her and this was not the night for Alix vs Majesty in a verbal fight.

He looked at the pillows and remembered that he had seen her throw pillows at the cat at least three times.

He removed all the excess pillows and left only two on the bed.

This also wasn’t the night for a pillow fight.

At least his baby was behaving, sleeping peacefully through their family drama.

“He does it on purpose you know.” Alix told Caishen.

“I know.” Caishen assured her.

She shook her head, insisting that he didn’t really know.

“He provokes me because he knows i can’t do anything to him.

If i beat him, it’s animal abuse…”  Meow.

“I think you mean cat abuse.” Majesty corrected.

She growled and tried to sit up again but Caishen held her down.

He didn’t know what the cat had just said but if it infuriated Alix then it wasn’t a good thing.

Just as a cat saying ‘bitch’ was not a good thing.

When did he become the half owner of a cat that knew how to curse?

“Ignore him, he is just a jerk.” Caishen told her.

Majesty scoffed and closed his eyes.

“He told me to kidnap Ye Zidi you know….”  Majesty opened his eyes and stood on it’s four legs and meowed loudly continuously.

“I did not say any such thing, this is slander.

A royal cat like me would never be involved in acts like those.

I protest the smearing of my royal self and demand an apology and immediate correction…..” “Calm down, it’s not you, i remembered wrong, i am sorry.” She rolled her eyes.

It had definitely over reacted.

Caishen was confused, one, why would Alix need to kidnap Ye Zidi and two if it wasn’t the cat then who made the suggestion.

He also wondered if they would be getting any sleep this night between Alix and Majesty having disputes every other minute.

“This is my life now.” he muttered.

He calmly watched his wife and cat argue, each trying to come out on top.

Alix was not even laying down anymore but sitting upright and pointing at Majesty while making accusations.

Majesty was also sitting up right and pointing back while meowing.

He had never seen a cat make gestures in a manner that was so human like.

If anybody saw this, what would they think?

“But, you put a claw on my neck and threatened me when we were at school.

I did not get an apology for that from you.” Alix put her hands on her hips.

Majesty mimicked her actions and meowed.

Caishen’s mouth dropped open and he reached for his phone.

Nobody would ever believe him if he didn’t record this moment.

Even if he never showed it others he could keep it for his own entertainment.

When he turned around to record, he was met with a weird sight.

Majesty had calmly returned to a sleeping position and Alix had done the same thing.

If he had not witnessed the argument with his own eyes, he could have sworn that he imagined the entire thing.

Caishen raised his right hand and pinched his left one.

The pain was proof that he was awake and not dreaming.

“Wait, what happened to the fight?” he looked at Alix and asked.

“We have made peace.” she replied.

Her answer confused him all the more.

“But, but i turned around for less than thirty seconds….” Even thirty seconds was too much, maybe it was ten or fifteen.

They were involved in a screaming match when he turned around so how did they resolve their issues quickly.

“Are you two pranking me?”  “What prank?

Hubby, just lay back down so that i can fill you in on my day.

The blue smurf suggested that i kidnap Ye Zidi.”  Caishen scratched his head and sighed.

He put his phone back on the side table and faced his wife.

Her words reminded him of the conversation he had with the prosecutor general.

The man had strongly cautioned him to stop Alix if she ever planned to do something extreme, criminal wise.

Kidnapping a famous pianist definitely went on the list of things not to do.

From the sound of things, it wasn’t Alix that needed cautioning, it was the system.

“Why does your system give you bad ideas all the time like biting off people’s heads, setting fires and kidnapping?

Are you sure it’s not a villain system?”  “No, my system is good.

It just wants to help me get everything i want in life and right now, i want Ye Zidi.

Do you think the bureau of systems can help me get her?” “The bureau doesn’t sell people Alix.” he reminded her.

“I don’t mean buying her, i am not a human trafficker.

I just mean they can con….”  She stopped and sighed because the more she talked, the more crazy she sounded even to herself.

She would just go back to her original plan of trying to entice her to join Songbird with money and benefits like Xiaobo’s school had done.

“I am going with you to the hidden city tomorrow.” He told her.

“Mmm.” she nodded slowly.

He pulled her closer and told her, “And i will look into Ye Zidi.

Do not rely on the bureau of systems for everything when you have an awesome husband like me.”  She giggled, moved up slightly and kissed him on the nose.

He smiled and squeezed her waist.

Once more, Alix giggled.

Majesty meowed loudly in protest against all the giggling.

“I am trying to sleep.

If one more person giggles i will be very unhappy Alix.”  She sighed and threw the pillow below her head at the cat.

“Shut up Majesty.”
