The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system
Chapter 462 - 462 Training her protege

462: Training her protege.

462: Training her protege.

“Tch!” Grandma Zhang pursed her lips.

“Calling it harming is too much.

A mutual union basing on arranged marriage between two families is not harming anyone.

I am sure the woman will also agree with me.”  “Then consider it harming your son mother.” he reiterated.

Grandma Zhang looked at her son for a moment, and noted the willfulness in his eyes.

In there, she could see traces of her old son, the one who had a backbone and could stand his ground.

It convinced her that all she would be saying after this would not be taken in.

He would ignore her wishes and do as he pleased, just like his sons.

“Alright, i am going to surrender for now but i don’t want you to imagine that i am a villain in this scenario.

I want you to get married because i am worried that you will be lonely in future.

Your father and i are already this old and we are not getting any younger.

All your children have moved out of this house and it’s just the three of us left.

What will you do after we die?”  Xian stood up and walked over to her.

He squatted down at her feet and put his head on her lap.

“Mother, can we not talk about things like death?”  He had just found his parents again and reunited with his family.

He was not ready to lose them again, especially not to death which was permanent.

She raised her hand and put it on his head then started patting his hair slowly.

As he requested, she decided to drop the subject of death even though it was a fact of life, an inevitable one.

Her biggest worry was her son, would he have to live alone in this big house when she and her husband were dead?

Loneliness could kill, and it would kill him slowly.

If he at least had a good wife, she could be his companion.

“What am i going to do with you Xian?”  “Live to two hundred so that you can be with me forever mother.” he responded.

“Haha, you silly boy, do you want me to become one of those zombie things in the movies or a ghost?”  “Maybe an immortal fairy, you are pretty enough to be a fairy.”  Grandpa Zhang found them like this when he returned to check on them, wondering why they were not joining everyone for dinner.

He gave them five more minutes to joke around before clearing his throat and asking them to join everyone.

***************************************************** Alix and Caishen were at his mother’s house, still unaware that Nana had been booted out and the elders had finally cleaned up their mess as Caishen had long expected.

She was training her protege how to fight and always come out on top in case he was attacked.

Originally, she came over to check on Xiaobo and see how badly he was injured.

Physically, he had a few scrapes on his left arm but nothing other than that.

When she asked why they fought, Xiaobo informed her that he punched the other boy because he said Alix was not little superwoman and she cheated during the school’s sports day.

It was a silly reason to fight but Alix was touched greatly because her baby, as she called him had fought in defense of her honor.

Immediately, she decided to teach him how to fight.

Xiaobo was now breaking boards with his fists and loudly shouting ‘ha!’.

His voice was doing more work than his hands however because had broken less boards in the last twenty minutes than expected.

After one more eardrum shattering ‘ha’, Alix forced him to sit down.

“Let’s take a break baby, auntie is now hungry.”  Her little protege nodded firmly.

“Me too, auntie, i am so hungry, so, so, so hungry.” Both of their heads turned at the same time, looking in the direction of the kitchen.

They could smell food but Yura had not invited them to eat yet.

When they turned back, both of them sighed.

“Let’s watch a video of how to land the perfect round kick.

I think you should sign up for kickboxing classes.” “Auntie, my schedule is full.” he told her.

She raised her right hand and ruffled his hair.

“Sheesh, what kind of full schedule can a child your age have?” “Foreign language studies, horse riding, world economics, piano…..” “Stop.” Alix crossed her hands.

Xiaobo had just started counting all the things which normally took up his time when Alix jumped in.

She didn’t even care about why an eight year old was studying world economics because he had mentioned piano.

“When did you start taking piano lessons and why am i not your teacher?”  “It’s a teacher at school.” he told her.

Alix leaned forward and fixed her gaze on him.

“Is he or she better than me?”  Xiaobo blinked a few times and turned his head to the side.

Alix didn’t let him escape and she moved it back.

“What is this, usually you are quick to jump in with aunt is the best about this or that.” Yura walked in to call them for dinner and she caught Alix red handed, quizzing Xiaobo.

“Stop questioning my grandson Alix he is not a criminal.

Both of you can now join us in the dining room, it’s time for dinner.”  Xiaobo practically leaped out of the chair and took to his heels, escaping Alix as if she were a demon from hell trying to take him there.

“Ho!, with that speed he should join the olympic team.” She laughed and shook her head.

“Mother, do you know Xiaobo’s piano teacher?”  Yura sighed.

“You are not going to let this go, are you?” Alex smiled impishly and shook her head.

Even if she didn’t get the answer from them, she was going to get it from somewhere else, like the parents group in which she had been added but never said a word except for greeting everyone when she had just joined.

“It’s Ye Zidi.” Yura told her.

She turned around then and started walking to the dining room.

Alix gasped and stood up to follow eagerly hurrying to catch up with her mother-in-law.

“Ye Zidi, the five time winner of the international piano competition, ten time winner of the national one and maestro Botelli’s only known female apprentice.

I thought she retired, how did Xiaobo’s school convince her to teach a bunch of kids?”  “Connections, a big salary, benefits, and she was bored.”  “But she turned down every music school here and abroad and i know they offered her good money too.

Mother, can i poach her too if i offer her what they offered.” Alix jumped in front of Yura with eager eyes.

“Mother, help me.”  She pouted and did her best to look adorable.

Before she could convince Yura, Zhang An arrived with an even more urgent story to tell and she took up all the attention.

Alix however had no plans to give up.

She would poach Ye Zidi, one way or another.

“Why struggle when you have the bureau of systems?” the system asked her.

“If you ask them for the moon, they will give it to you.

So, ask for the piano teacher or maybe we can just kidnap her and you can claim it’s a mission from your system.”
