Alix made it to the school at around midday.

She arrived with a smile on her face, in a bright mood.

The first person she bumped into after getting out of her car was the school nurse.

They exchanged greetings and then she handed Alix a black pocket folder.

She didn’t open it right away because she never knew what to expect when it came to the nurse.

“What is this?” she asked, wearily.

The nurse pushed her glasses up and answered, “My details.

Family background, education, work qualifications, hobbies, body measurements, likes and dislikes.”  “Wait, are you quitting, asking for a raise or looking to switch to another department?” A lost Alix raised her hand and asked the woman.

All the age appropriate daughters of the elite families have been encouraged to send applications to madam Xiyi, the matchmaker.

Waiting for her outside of her office however was a surprise guest, an unwelcome one.

Alix looked at the three guards that were surrounding him.

“Remove him from school grounds now.” She ordered them.

“Have you all forgotten that he is on the list?

He is at the very top, the first name is his name.”  “I apologize director but he showed up with reporters and then started causing a scene.

We didn’t want other parents to see it or for the school to appear in the news in bad light so we brought him in.

We are waiting for the reporters he must have paid off to leave and then we can throw him out.” One of the guards replied swiftly, explaining the situation completely.

He was their leader, hired from the Zhang family.

He was very professional in his job so she couldn’t blame him too much for this incident.

She took a deep breath and waved her hand, gesturing for them to leave.

She could handle one Lin Qianfan easily.

Two of the guards left but the leader instructed one to stay back.

You should get guards that have some etiquette and know how to respect me because i am your father.

It was the first time she was hearing about it.

“You have been in prison.” she quizzed.

The corners of her lips rose up, unable to hide the pleasure she was getting from hearing about it.

No wonder he had been unable to show up and cause a ruckus at her party, he had been incarcerated.

“If you don’t know about it then it must be those Tai’s.

They cannot have female children so they decided to steal a daughter from another household.” He pointed at her, almost poking her eyes with his finger.

When it came to financial matters, she had long stopped expecting any help from him.

The guard moved and Alix shook her head, gesturing for him to stay still.

It didn’t matter how much he was cursing her, she wasn’t bothered.

“You had better hurry to a hospital before that finger becomes permanently lame.” she told him.

Lin Qianfan glared at her and he stopped cursing.

He got a white handkerchief from his pocket and tied it around the finger.

Ignoring the pain he was suffering he opened up about what it was that had brought him to her school.

“You, arrange a meeting for your sister with Zhang Bo.

I want her to marry the chairman of the Zhang family.

If you two sisters are in the same family, you can help each other and…” She didn’t wait for him to complete his sentence and she raised her leg and kicked him, right across her jaw.

She used so much force that his mouth close and his teeth clashed against each other.
