Without saying a single word, she morphed, turning into the black biggest ant Alix had ever seen.

As Mantis changed back into a human, Maggie morphed as well, turning into the magpie.

“Bird morphing system.” Mantis shared.

Alix leaned forward and she held her hand out.

The little magpie jumped into her hands and she carried it, bringing it all the way close to her eyes.

“So, you are the little birdie that has been following me around.”  She inspected the bird from side to side and then held it upside down and looked at it’s belly and between its legs.

Maggie, fluttered his wings and attempted to use them to cover himself.

“That’s a violation, stop looking.” a voice came from the bird.

Alix put it down, it flew back to the chair and changed back to human.

“I was just trying to see if you are an ordinary magpie or a special breed.” She explained quickly to the man who was glaring at her as if she had just assaulted him.

“Sorry.” Alix added.

She turned to the prosecutor general and he shook his head.

“I am not a system host, i am one of the people in government that is aware of your kind and responsible for enforcing law and order in the bureau of systems branch in our country.

Like Mantis told you, there are good system hosts and there are bad ones.

When people like you commit crimes, things tend to become really bad for ordinary humans.” “So you arrest and prosecute them.” Alix inquired.

He laughed and asked, “Do you think i can prosecute someone who can teleport from here to say Mars in a heartbeat?

We have other things to follow up on.”  Alix shrugged and she changed into her dragon form immediately, stunning those in the room that didn’t expect it.

The soldiers were so startled that they pulled out weapons while the prosecutor general jumped away but held firmly onto Aang in case he needed to make a quick exist.

It was a man and he was holding a scalpel and a small container.

He had a pained look on his face, disappointed because he had not got any piece of the dragon for research.

“If you ever try to touch me with that thing i will bite your head off.” Alix threatened, in a very deep and very serious voice.

Turning back to her welcoming crew, she sneered with obvious anger on her face.

“Is this why you came to see me.

You want to chop me up for parts and study me?”  “No.” Maggie said strongly.

“Qian is an overly eager excited idiot, please ignore him.

No system host is required to give blood samples or anything without their wish.”  He looked at Aang and made a gesture with his head.

Aang stood up, approached Qian and teleported away with him.

“We are sorry about that.” The prosecutor general calmly apologized.

“There hasn’t been a new system host in the world in the last two years so the scientists are excited.

You being a dragon makes them all the more fascinated with you.

They have no qualms about killing other hosts who refuse to join their side.” Mantis told her.

If you are not with us, they will come for you, make a similar offer with all sorts of promises about wealth, glory, power and freedom.

But if you turn them down, they will go after you and your family.” The prosecutor general shared.
