The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system
Chapter 418 - 418 Helpless cat slave

418: Helpless cat slave.

418: Helpless cat slave.

“So i went to Alix’s mall after the opening and noticed that they have a pet store.

I went in out of curiosity and saw that they had a few cats for sell.

I don’t like cats very much.

I know…i know….boo, i suck but it’s not as if i hate them, i just don’t like aggressive pets and cats are sometimes aggressive.

Anyway, i saw the cutest cat sleeping on a cat tree in it’s little pink hat and it just looked so adorable that i had to bring it home.

I was so excited until i reached home and my cat wouldn’t step on the floor.

I contacted Alix’s mall online pet advisor and they told me to clean my apartment.

Apparently, my new cat doesn’t like dust so i am working like a paid maid now, cleaning for my cat.

If it sees even one speck of dust, it hisses at me and i have to come running with a mop.

If my mom sees how clean my apartment is right now, she will be so proud.

In fact, she might adopt the cat and give it our family name.

But, doesn’t this remind you guys of the famous black cat Baby who doesn’t drink anything but bottled water.

That cat is owned by Zhang construction CEO Zhang Caishen who is married to the owner of Alix’s mall that has a unique orange cat of her own.

I have a question for them.

Are you guys experts in raising abnormal cats?” Alix was laughing loudly while reading and watching the reviews of her mall by people that managed to visit and those who intended to do so when they could.

Some of the reviewers had been hired by Jin Kang to boost the image of the mall and raise quickly.

They included famous influencers on different internet platforms.

Most of the reviews were hilarious and positive but so far, the girl with the cat that didn’t like dust was the funniest.

She had also posted a picture of the cat in it’s pink hat and one of herself in a maid costume with a bucket, rag and broom.

Her user name had been changed to ‘helpless cat slave 01’.

The story was circulating faster than other reviews and Alix was quite certain that the few cats left at the pet store would be sold out before noon the following day.

As for the abnormality of the cats, she couldn’t comment on it.

They were pets from the first gaming world, street cats that she had collected from the town square.

The system had said they were normal and could be brought out into the real world.

“This might actually work out for the best.” the system said.

“The more unique they are, the higher the price.”  Sometimes she forgot that her system loved to make money more than she did.

If there was an opportunity to profit from those street cats in the game, it would capitalize on it.

Unfortunately in this case, that would not be feasible.

“You forget that the first world is a small town.

I have already cleared out most of the cats.

We may have to wait until the following year to bring in more.”  Caishen rolled over and one of his arms fell on her stomach.

Both of them were in bed but he was sleeping while she was awake.

He had appeared to be a little stressed in the evening during dinner with both families so she had given him that injection which the system had recommended to her in the morning for relaxation purposes.

A combination of the relaxation shot and a glass of milk had put him to sleep quite quickly.

Not even her careless laughter as she read the reviews on the mall disturbed him.

Her right hand came down and she stroked his head gently.

“He is just like his nephew.

They are both always seeking you out even when they should be sleeping.” The system mumbled.

The comment was made because Xiaobo was also in the same bed, on the opposite side of Alix.

Half of his head was on Alix’s pillow and he was hugging the owl plushie in his sleep.

Zhang Bo had set off for Japan as soon as the dinner with both families ended.

He would be gone for three days and Xiaobo had insisted on staying with his favorite aunt Alix until his father returned.

“Blame it on my charm.” she responded.

She had exhausted all of her charm points, maximizing them to one hundred.

If there was a need in future to go beyond that, she would not hesitate to do so.

But for now, that was enough.

She moved her body into a sitting position and pulled her gaming glasses over her eyes.

With familiarity, she logged into the virtual world and entered the gaming network.

The lock on the door leading to the fourth world was gone, meaning that it was open for business.

“I think i should enter the fourth world now.

I am probably the only player that hasn’t made it there yet.”  “Are you ready?” The system asked.

“When am i never ready?” she retorted.

She stretched her arms over her head and her bones made a cracking sound.

Then, she stretched her neck and opened the door to a world which promised adventure.

In the real world meanwhile, inside her mall which was open twenty four hours a day, a group of individuals led by the magpie in human form were doing some shopping of their own.

These individuals were shopping in a rather unique manner because instead of being awed by the products like most people, they were like students studying the materials and qualities of the products.

If they didn’t display military badges, security would have thrown them out because they were acting like business competitors here to study and then mimic the unique things Alix was selling.

The pet shop with the cats and dogs was one of the places where they spent most of their time.

They had been there for an hour, preventing others from coming in and they were not showing any indicators of leaving anytime soon.

They just stayed inside, staring at the animals as if they were actors in a movie.

The animals which had been active through the day were acting docile now, and some of them were even sleeping.

“Why are they putting on hats?”  Their were two sales girls in the pet shop and this question was addressed to one.

“The CEO’s sister-in-law thought it would be cute.”  The hats on the cats was Zhang An’s bright idea and she was right, the cats looked cute.

“How silly.” A woman in the group of ten said.

Still, she stroked the ears of one of the cats which were sticking out of it’s little grey hat while smiling.

They sales girl was still confused by what these people were doing.

It had been over an hour and they were still here, staring at the cats especially.

Were they here to buy or not?

“Sir, do you people intend to buy the pets?

We have a lot of online bookings for them and….”  “We will take everything.” The magpie man said.

He carried one of the puppies and tipped it’s head up.

“Everything in the mall, we want copies of everything in the mall and all of the pets.” “Everything…” the girl said unsurely.

“Everything.” the man repeated confidently.
