The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system -
Chapter 404 - 404 Go fishing
404: Go fishing.
404: Go fishing.
“I think we have two very different definitions of good.” She responded.
Good in her books was something positive.
Nothing in their conversation pointed to positive.
All of it spelled trouble.
“Not if you consider it to be an information and fact finding mission.
If Lai Yanfang was being monitored because she had a system, then whoever was monitoring her could be monitoring others similar to her.
If we want information on other system users, where better to find it than the secret place, wherever it is.
Imagine a whole ready database of food….i mean others similar to yourself.” It was so quick to cover up the language it had used because Alix raised her brows curiously.
“Also, keep in mind that i am good at hiding myself.
It is nearly impossible to detect me if i don’t want to be found.
If your dragon form has been seen, you can simply claim to have a dragon system.
Let’s shake this tree and see what falls out.” On the virtual screen, the blue elf shook a tree of mangoes and they fell down.
“Let’s go fishing and see what we catch.” It also suggested.
The tree disappeared and it was replaced by a lake and a boat.
In the boat was the blue elf with a fishing rod that had been cast into the water.
Then, it pulled the rod out with about ten fat fish attached to the hook.
She continued to tap her nails against the armrest, more nervous than she had been in a while.
While all these sounded like good ideas, there was also a possibility of her being imprisoned or dissected.
Did the system know how dragons were perceived in the country?
They were creatures of myth and legends, something associated with good luck.
What if she was forced to be a full time dragon and taken on a tour from city to city?
What if they wanted dragon children so they harvested her eggs or kept her somewhere and forced her to pop out half human babies with dragon blood in their veins.
A frustrated blue elf pulled out its hair.
“Arrgh!
Stop, stop, stop.
Have you forgotten that the dragon only merges with you on activation and you are not an actual dragon?
You need to collect your thoughts and consolidate them on what is real not what is stupid.
You should go with my advise.
Let’s toss out a few more clues and have them come to us.
Thinking about that information treasure trove waiting to be discovered is exciting me already.” Alix rolled her eyes.
How could she trust the words of a gluttonous system that was hoping to find other systems to sneak up on and eat?
“Hey, where do you come from?
Your world…., we have never discussed it.” As soon as she asked that question, the system elf disappeared from the screen and she sighed.
It was not prepared to share that information with her it seemed.
What she did imagine was a whole planet of systems where they were created and dispensed onto different worlds for different purposes.
As she quietly leaned into the back of her seat and closed her eyes, she visualized the imaginary system planet more and more.
And when she was done thinking about the system planet, she made a plan to steal back the orchid.
When she opened her eyes after arriving at the school, she looked at Bi Cang.
“Find me a thief.” she said.
“What.., what.., a what?” Bi Cang stammered a few times because he was confused.
“One will not be enough.
Find me at least ten thieves, people that are excellent at their jobs.
I need something stolen from a place with very tight security as soon as possible.
It’s a lab, a research lab.” She smiled like a bad wolf, exposing her pearly white teeth that had recently been to a visit at a dentists office.
“Don’t worry, i am only stealing back what’s mine.
Technically, it’s not a crime to take back what’s mine.” Bi Cang blinked and tilted his head slightly to the right.
It sounded a little off to him.
Why steal back something that belonged to her?
Anyway, it was a simple task that could be accomplished in a a matter of hours.
“When do you want it done young madam?” “Tomorrow….” When she thought about the things she had on her plate this week, she was tempted to push it off.
But, when she thought about the danger the orchid represented, she couldn’t push it off.
If it somehow grew feet and went on a rampage, the blame would fall on her.
At the moment, she had a plan to stage a break into the lab with other thieves and make it seem as if it was a random theft.
A couple of professor Lai’s high value plants would be stolen and the blood orchids would be among.
Of course, other researchers would lose some things too in order to hide the real target.
Then, she would give the professor another orchid, just one and have him followed and tracked so that she could find his plant nutrient source.
Alix smiled smugly to herself.
It was such a brilliant plan, one that only she could come up with because she was a genius.
“Bwahahahaa.
” She even did her villain laugh.
Bi Cang looked at uncle Ju and the driver shrugged.
When one was asked to describe the young madam, the word eccentric was best used.
Unpredictable was another.
Both words were much better than weird.
Bi Cang used his quick thinking to deduce the location of the lab Alix wanted the thieves to break into.
Which one could it be except for the one she had run out of last time?
He recalled the look of disturbance on her face that day, as if she had seen something unpleasant.
Had she dropped something inside that needed retrieval.
Still, her sudden need for thieves was a little too abrupt.
If they didn’t plan right and the plan went to shit, it could lead back to them.
“But madam, to break into a very secure lab, proper planning has to be taken.
Even if we find the right thieves, they will not just run into any building blindly only to end up being arrested or killed.
They will need to have a clear entry and point of exist.
I suggest that you give me three days to coordinate a proper plan before the execution.” Alix crinkled her nose and pouted her lips a little bit.
“What difference will three days make?” her system asked.
She looked at Bi Cang and nodded.
“Three days Bi Cang or it will be you, me and uncle Ju executing the plan.” Meow…
The purring of her orange troublesome cat reminded her that she had a partner in crime.
Said partner was complaining about being left out of the plan.
“And Majesty.” she added.
