The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system
Chapter 403 - 403 Answers from the system

403: Answers from the system.

403: Answers from the system.

Alix was doing a question and answer session of her own in the car, on the way to school.

Whatever secrets the system elf had extracted from Lai Yanfang, she wanted to know.

“Why are you at level five?”  This was one of the things bothering her the most.

Something which didn’t make much sense.

“I ate another system.”  The system elf didn’t bother to lie about what it had done without her knowledge.

“Let me be precise, i ate Lai Yanfang’s system.”  On the blue screen, among the systems capabilities, other than cheating, scanning an a few other abilities, body enhancement had ben added.

“So she had a system and not a game.” Alix said softly.

“Yup, yup.” the system elf responded.

“So is she not a game player as we have been suspecting all along?”  “No, she is not the player.

This kind of system has no access to the game at all.

It does something else entirely.

It enhances the body of it’s host enabling them to do things that other humans cannot.

It’s a good enough system to turn somebody into one of those superheroes in your tv shows.

For example, if she had used it well, she could have made her body rock solid, so hard that it would have been impenetrable with any weapon on your world.

She could have adjusted her legs and enabled herself to jump much higher than she did when you were fighting her.

She would have been able to leap from the ground and land on the highest building in the world.

She could have turned her hands into weapons.

Even her finger nails could cut through steel if she wished.

Her hearing would have been massive, spanning for miles and miles.

Her eyes would have been able to see through any wall or metal.

All she did with the system was empower her eyes to hypnotize and also clone herself.

She could have actually developed more than one clone but she was so lazy or simply stupid to do so.

It looks like she was the host of the system for at least four years.”  Listening to all that the system was saying, she tapped her nails of her right hand fingers against the armrest of the car seat in the middle.

Four years.

Lai Yanfang was a system user and she was not the player she had been searching for.

At this point, she couldn’t even accurately say that there was another player like they had been thinking.

“The orchid!” she exclaimed in her mind.

The blood orchid which she had forgotten about came to the front of her mind.

If Lai Yanfang had not provided her uncle with the plant nutrients which grew it to the monstrous size, who had?

“Wow, this means that there could be others like her, system hosts roaming around on earth.” Her eyes widened and she gasped.

“Young madam, is something wrong?” Uncle Ju asked her.

“No, please turn up the radio.

I would like hear what the news is reporting.”  Uncle Ju did as she instructed and Alix went back to her discussion with the system.

She was not listening to the news at all which was reporting on another weather disaster.

“Last night, there was a sudden flood in the city of Brussels which has resulted in the death of fifty people and…..” At the wheel, uncle Ju frowned and increased the volume even more.

A flood in the winter was a very abnormal thing.

Another weather disaster had occurred.

His simple mind was simply grateful that it was not in their country.

“How many more system hosts do you suppose exist on earth?

Is there a way to find them?” “Oh, i am looking for them high and low.” The system replied.

It had a sly look on it’s face and she realized why immediately.

It was looking for them so that it could eat them and continue to level up rapidly.

“Aaah!

is this a good thing or not?” she muttered.

Was it right for her to allow her system eat other systems.

Was this a case of cannibalism or simply predator and prey where the strong ate the weak?

But, what worried her suddenly even more was coming to the realization that if her system could eat another then another could also eat hers.

No wonder Lai Yanfang had lost her mind pleading and begging her to give it to back to her.

She had been pleading for Alix to return her system to her.

Not that Alix could do that since she didn’t even know how her own system had eaten the woman’s system in the first place.

The more she thought about it, the more fear engulfed her.

She was so not ready to lose her system.

No system meant no cheats and no income, no alien mall and no money.

One of her biggest fears in life was returning to poverty and having to live hand to mouth.

It did not even occur to her that she was Zhang Caishen’s wife and she would never have to live hand to mouth because her husband was a wealthy man.

To date, she was drawing clear lines between what was hers financially and legally and what was his.

“Little smurf, we have to be very careful from now on.

You cannot reveal yourself to anyone at all.

You need to hide very deep so that we are not eaten.” “It might be too late for that.” It replied in a slightly peachy voice.

“What do you mean?

Did someone locate you?

No, did another system detect you?

What happened?” Panic was infused into her voice as she asked.

She even shifted and sat at the edge of her seat as she waited for the system to reply.

“Young madam..” Bi Cang started,  “I am fine Bi Cang, my stomach is just a little upset.” She responded quickly.

Bi Cang texted that information into his phone and sent it out to Caishen and other bodyguards.

Just in case they needed to stop by a hospital, a pharmacy or in case Alix collapsed from sudden illness.

The system in the meantime had decided not to pacify the anxious Alix and just give her the answers she wanted.

“That very secret file on Lai Yanfang was deleted as soon as we left her apartment.

We both knew that it was possible the government, or a special branch of some kind was watching her.

It’s possible that they were aware of her and now they are aware of your dragon.

Two, the unique antidote or poison which the prosecutor general picked up from the house.

You should know that something like that would make some powerful people curious about you.

Three, the alien department mall.

Technology like that which is slightly higher than the one of your world is another thing which will draw attention to you.

I used some of your money to purchase different properties around the world which we can use as factory shields for now but eventually, you do need to buy an old place and turn it into your own factory even if its just assembly lines.” She nodded because she had already considered this.

In fact, the mayor was already helping her search for such a place in an isolated province far away from curious eyes.

“But, if eyes have been drawn towards you, it could also be a good thing for us.”
