The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system
Chapter 397 - 397 The sweet mouth strikes again

397: The sweet mouth strikes again.

397: The sweet mouth strikes again.

Auntie Mo guided Alix to the closest chair in the living room, sent for a first aid kit and then set on a keen task of examining the so called injured toe.

No matter which angle she examined however, there was no trace of an injury.

“I don’t see anything Alix, are you sure that you stubbed your toe?”  Alix maintained her sad face and she nodded.

“It hurt a lot mommy, my whole body felt as if it was being electrocuted in that moment.

The pain is gone because you have touched it.

My sweet mama, you have healing hands.”  Auntie Mo’s face brightened up so much, If she could glow, she would be as bright as a thousand stars in the sky.

Bashfully, she responded, “Tch, your sweet mouth strikes again.”  She grabbed Alix’s face and Alix puckered her lips, shaking her head as she smiled with an impish and childish look on her face.

“Sweet mama, i want to sleep with you tonight.” she said, as soon as auntie Mo took her hand away from her cheeks.

One of the maids came towards them with the first aid box.

She was followed by two worried grandparents and dotting brothers that had heard about the injury.

“What happened dear?” grandma Tai asked loudly.

Auntie Mo turned to them and said, “Alix stubbed her toe.” “Is it bleeding?” Tai Fong asked.

“Tell my driver to get the car, we are going to the hospital right now.” Grandpa Tai shouted this order to the maid that brought the first aid box.

Then, he asked Alix, “Does it hurt?

You must be in pain my sweetie.

Should grandpa blow on it for you?”  He pulled the leg out of Tai Fong’s hand.

“Is the nail broken?” Wu Wei asked.

His face was quite cringed as he craned his neck to get a good look.

This was because he had stubbed his toe once against a stone and it cracked his nail in the middle causing him a lot of pain.

“Heng, carry her up and bring her to the car.” Grandpa Tai ordered chairman Tai.

“We should give her first aid first.

I am checking the internet to see what one should do when they have an injured toe.” “Sister, are you going to die?” Wu Gang asked in a small voice.

“Of course not.” Grandpa Tai answered Wu Gang strongly.

Alix raised her hands and made a x sign.

They had surrounded her so much to the point of blocking off all the air.

Her leg was being pulled in different directions.

One would easily make the mistake of thinking that none of the people there had ever hit their toe or any other part of their body against something.

Quickly, they all relaxed and stopped fussing.

First, she turned to Wu Gang, her precious innocent sweet little brother.

He looked anxious, so unlike his usual confident self.

“Gang, i am fine.

I don’t even have a scratch mark on me.

Have you forgotten that i am little superwoman?

That wall is probably in more pain than me.

My toes are practically made of steel, nothing can break them.”  She smiled at him fondly before turning to her grandpa.

“Grandpa, who goes to the hospital for a stubbed toe?

Do you how embarrassing it will be for me if we go in there and make a ruckus about this small thing?”  Addressing them all, she said in a sure calm voice, “I am so happy to see you all love and fuss over me like this but i am fine, absolutely fine.

My mother has already taken care of it with her magic hands.

Before you came over, we were talking about going to bed.” She waved her hands, gesturing at them all to back away.

Acknowledging her wishes, everyone backed away slowly, giving her room to breathe.

Grandpa Tai was reluctant to leave but his wife pulled him away forcefully.

While he was leaving, he still told Alix, “Call us if you feel any slight pain.

We will go to the hospital immediately.

There is nothing embarrassing about seeking for the help of a doctor when you are in pain.” “Yes grandpa, i will tell you if i feel funny.”  They all left, and only Tai Ho Sun remained.

He gave Alix his best big brother inquisitive look.

Eyebrows up, and doubt in his eyes.

“Are you sure that you are fine?” “I am okay.” she answered.

Then he bent down and whispered to her, “I saw you knocking your toe against the wall and crying out for mother.

Tch, if you wanted mummy’s attention, you didn’t have to go that far.

That woman is crazy about you as you are about her.

You are a mama’s girl through and through.”  Alix’s eyes darted from side to side.

She had looked around carefully before faking that injury and calling out for auntie Mo.

She couldn’t believe that she had been caught.

He got up, ruffled her hair and laughed softly at that wild guilty look in her eyes, “Little sister, you are quite cute.” His hand remained on her head and auntie Mo slapped it away lightly.

“Why are you making a mess of your sisters hair and using her head as a table?” “We are planning to have lunch together tomorrow.” he answered.

“We are!” Alix responded in a surprised voice.

“Yes, i saw a little cat faking an injury and it owes me a few hugs and meals now.” Tai Ho Sun giggled and he took a sip from the cup of warm mint tea he was holding in his right hand.

Grandma’s new kitty purred and everyone turned their heads.

There was something quite weird about its purring which disturbed everyone.

Grandma Tai walked past them with the cat in her hands and a small baby bottle filled with milk.

The cat was crying for the bottle of milk like a starving little baby.

“She just fed it like thirty minutes ago.

It even had an extra bottle of milk and minced meat.

How is it hungry again?” Auntie Mo wondered.

All the pets Alix had brought had been fed and most were sleeping.

This one seemed to be more gluttonous than the others however because it was insatiable.

What kind of cat needed to feed every thirty minutes or so?

“Man that is one weird cat.” Ho Sun mumbled.

Alix tilted her head and she recalled the vendor in the level one world that she had bought the cats from.

He had been in a hurry to get rid of all his pets at a cheap price.

Had he given her something that was not an ordinary cat?

Was it a mixed breed?

She looked at the virtual screen which was still blue, and she sighed.

If the blue elf was there, it would identify that cat immediately for her.

“I hope it doesn’t eat us in our sleep.” Tai Ho Sun said to himself.

“Oh great, now i won’t be able to keep my eyes closed thanks to you Ho Sun.” Auntie Mo said to him.

She decided to double lock the bedroom door just in case.

Alix latched onto her arm and she said cutely.

“Mama, don’t worry.

Your little superwoman will keep you safe in your dreams.
