Chapter 364 - 364 Everyday is therapy day

364: Everyday is therapy day.

364: Everyday is therapy day.

She covered her mouth suddenly and broke into a fit of giggles.

As she laughed, she looked at him as if he was the source of her amusement.

“What is it?” he asked with a smile.

She took her hand off her mouth and told him, “I just realized that you wanted a woman like your mother because she is a good person but you ended up picking the wrong one while I ended up dating a fruithole like my scummy birth father.

Isn’t it weird how our relationships with our parents shape our minds when it comes to dating?”  “I think there is a psychological explanation for that.” His eyes moved from side to side as he tried to recall where he had seen an article about this kind of thing specifically.

“But i should have picked someone that is the opposite of Lin Qianfan.

Instead, i chose to date a man that constantly told me that i wasn’t good enough and stupid me, i kept believing him and working harder on becoming enough for him.” She smiled sadly and said slowly, “It was because he said he loved me and i just wanted love.”  She raised her eyes which were filled with regret and she said, “I think my reason for dating the wrong person was worse than yours.

Thank God we both survived those people and found our way to each other.”  She rolled over and sat between his legs, leaning her head against his chest.

He brought his hands down and wrapped them around her stomach.

His mouth opened because he wanted to say something but the door opened and both of their heads turned in the direction of the the noise.

Mo Sen came from that direction and right behind him was professor He.

“The doctor is here.” he announced.

That was all he said and he picked up the plates and the expensive coat with a plan to send it downstairs for cleaning immediately.

He didn’t touch Alix’s pink socks or the thick green scarf on the floor.

Professor He sat down in the chair that was closest to the bed and she smiled like a carnivore.

“Well, hello, fancy meeting both of you here.”  Alix and Caishen had not bothered to move when they saw her.

Unlike their usual looks of irritation when they saw her, they just stared at her blankly today.

Her intrusion on their privacy was not new.

Even if they tried to get rid of her, she would not leave.

Most importantly, Alix had started enjoying the therapy sessions.

“This is our bedroom professor, i think we should be the ones to say that.” Alix responded.

“Everyday is therapy day for one of you.

Today however, i am lucky to find both of you together in the same place and at the same time.

We have much to discuss so i hope that you haven’t made any plans for the next two hours, three maximum.” Professor He’s eyes were already searching and stripping their bedroom and she noticed no change from the last time she had come over.

She sighed and Alix detected disappointment in the sigh.

Quickly, Alix explained, “If this is about the picture, we have it.

We just haven’t framed it yet.”  She even dragged her phone closer to herself using her foot and she unlocked her phone.

The picture that she and Caishen had taken was her home screen.

“See,” She moved off his chest slightly and held her phone up.

Professor He stood up, took the phone and observed the picture.

She studied their faces on the screen carefully and even noticed the placement of their hands.

“Hmm.” she responded.

Then, she handed the phone back to Alix with a smile of approval on her face.

“Good job.”  “Yes!” Alix whispered.

She held her hand backwards and Caishen tapped his hand against hers.

Professor He didn’t bother asking them why this was a good moment to high five.

They had a right to celebrate the small victories.

She was also pleased to see them so comfortable in the privacy of their bedroom.

She sat down, took her notebook and pen out of her bag, and crossed her right leg over the left one.

This was her code for school is now in session and everybody should pay attention.

“What were you both discussing before i arrived?”  Alix looked over her shoulder at Caishen and he shrugged.

He didn’t seem to care if it was revealed so Alix decided to go with the flow.

“Our exes, specifically the last people we both dated before getting together.”  Professor He smiled like a beggar at a buffet, presented with dozens of good foods.

“Ouh, that sounds interesting, let’s discuss that for a minute.

What were you sharing with each other?”  Alix was like a talkative parrot in responding unimpeded.

“He wanted to marry a woman like his mother and i dated a fruithole like my bio dad.”  “A fruithole, what is that?” professor He asked, very confused.

“She means asshole.

If you ever hear her say fruit in a manner which makes no sense just know that she is cursing.” Caishen explained.

“I see.” Professor He made a note in her book.

“So, Caishen wanted a woman that emulates the traits in his mother while you Alix wanted…” “No, no, no, no, nope, never, impossible.

I could never want a man that is like that bastard.

Who wants an unfaithful man with a nasty temper who uses his children depending on the usefulness that they serve him?

I would be crazy to want a man like that.” Loudly, explosively, Alix denied wanting a man with such a vile character.

“Just so you know, the character of my ex-girlfriend is in no way similar to that of my mother.

She pretended, okay, she fooled me completely back then.” Caishen added his own voice strongly.

Professor He smiled mysteriously and she scratched her nose.

Then she said, “So, i take it that you both dated people whose character is questionable.”  Both of them nodded.

Alix however felt the stupid need to make an amendment.

“His more than mine.

That bitch is crazy, batshit crazy.”  In Alix’s mind, the blue elf was highly amused.

It tuned in as if it was watching a reality tv series.

“This is your best therapy session yet.” It said.

Caishen meanwhile rolled his eyes because he felt there was no need for Alix to clarify this much.

The professor had not asked for a percentage or specification on whose ex was worse than the others.

Not that he could defend himself anyway because while Alix’s ex drained her account, his almost took his life and successfully put him in a wheel chair.

It would have been a permanent life condition if Alix had not come along with her miraculous cure.

“It’s not a competition Alix, you don’t have to win at everything.” Professor He said.

In her notebook she noted down, extremely competitive even in the negative.

Alix pouted while Caishen laughed like a menace in her ear.

“You don’t get to win, hahaha.” he whispered.
