355: Looney.

355: Looney.

The only enemy of the Zhang’s that she was aware of was Caishen’s ex-girlfriend and even then, wasn’t it too much to assume that she would harm Zhang Sensen, the second elder just to hurt Caishen?

If she was aiming for him, for whatever reason, there were other people she could attack like his grandparents, parents and siblings.

“So what is worry about the poison?

Do you think there are aliens from that world living on earth?”  “I have many theories right now that i am not willing to share without further investigation.

From now on, I am going to scour your internet and the Zhang family’s monitoring team to catch what they missed.

I will find the person that poisoned him and then we can see which of my theories is correct.”  Alix bit her bottom lip and her mind screamed again, aliens.

It had to be aliens.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it’s a duck.

If the poison existed on an alien planet then it was carried here by an alien, simple.

Still, when Alix drew the image of Lai Yanfang in her mind, she couldn’t help being spooked.

Maybe she was the alien because their was something not quite right with her eyes.

It wasn’t the shape or color but the look inside, it was off.

Alix didn’t have the right words to describe it accurately.

“Bat shit crazy.” The system helped.

“Man eating…., husband eating…., I don’t remember what Majesty called her but it was something along those lines in reference.” She shook her head and let out a loud sigh.

“I don’t know, maybe is she is just plain human crazy and i am overthinking.”  “Just take her out.” The system suggested.

It’s small hands were held out as it presented this very simple solution.

“It will be foolish of you to allow your enemy the chance to continue targeting you.

Set aside your human values for a while and think about yourself, family, friends, siblings.

While you hesitate, who protects them?”  On the virtual screen, images of the people she considered valuable to her appeared and vanished, one by one.

It probably wasn’t the right thing to notice but the picture quality was very excellent.

It was better than the filtering technology used on earth.

“You are dealing with a looney looney lunatic so you should be twice crazier.” It told her.

“Haven’t you noticed that i am becoming more ruthless?” she responded.

“I can’t just become a killer overnight however.

I need….” “What, to be pushed to the extremes?” It cut her off and asked.

“Just kill her, it’s easy.

If you can’t do it in human form, do it in dragon form.

Haven’t you ever noticed that your human emotions are watered down greatly when you take a different shape?”  She sighed again and stepped aside, moving out of the way for a woman in a wheelchair to go by.

Her eyes followed the woman and the man that was pushing the wheelchair.

A man that was in a hurry bumped into her and said testily, “Move, don’t stand in the way.

You are acting as if this road is owned by your father.”  The man continued walking and he was still mumbling unpleasantries as he moved.

He bumped into more people, deliberately.

He looked like a man that was looking for a fight and she was sure that he would get it before the day ended.

Alix raised her eyes and they met the back of the rude man as he was walking away.

“So what are you thinking?” The system asked her.

She shook her head, turned around and continued walking.

Not every battle needed to be fought.

Her body disappeared in the huge crowd of people and the debate of whether to kill Yanfang or not to kill her continued in her mind.

Back at the hospital meanwhile, Caishen was having a similar debate with Mo Sen and his mind.

His thoughts mirrored Alix’s similarly.

He was ruthless when it came to business but killing someone was not something he had done before or intended to start.

Even with Lai Yanfang, he wanted them to find evidence that would see to it that she spent the rest of her life behind bars.

Mo Sen however was of a different opinion.

As he showed Caishen the images that had been taken of Lai Yanfang in Landis hotel, he explained exactly why she needed to die.

“She is stalking you young master.

These images came while you were in that closed door meeting today.

She went all the way to Shanghai to wait for you.”  “What makes you think she was waiting for me?” he asked.

He scrolled to the next image with his right hand pinky finger and he found other pictures__, pictures that were from different seasons.

They all coincided with a time or place matching up to where he had been.

“You see it too, right?” Mo Sen asked him.

“It’s a pattern young master, she always shows up where you are but keeps a distance.

She stopped after your accident but as soon as you you appeared again in public, she restarted.”  They were talking about this in a different room, the furthest empty VIP on the floor.

The entire floor had been sealed off for the use of the Zhang’s however it didn’t mean they could be careless.

There was a mole in the family, that much was obvious.

Zhang Bo was sitting on the empty bed and he he got up and took the tablet from Caishen.

He scrolled quickly through different pictures while shaking his head.

“Yo, she is worse than a crazy fan and i am saying this as a man that has had some of the craziest fans.

Did you feed this bitch a love potion?”  Caishen shot his brother a displeased glance.

One, the use of the word bitch and two the outrageous question.

Bo shrugged and shook his head.

“Forget my language, it’s deserving of the moment just like your wife saying oh shit over the body of the second elder.” He chuckled a bit as he recalled the moment and the reactions of the people that followed.

“Anyway, she tried to kill you so i can call her a bitch all i want because she is one.” “She needs to be put down permanently.” Mo Sen said.

“Do you have evidence that she did something to the second elder?” he asked.

Confidently, Mo Sen answered, “The absence of evidence doesn’t mean something didn’t happen.

If you open the file labeled dead on that computer, you will see that in the last eight years, thirty six people that can be tied back to her somehow have wound up dead, all suicides.”  “That’s not normal.” Zhang Bo said in wonder.

“That’s insane, it doesn’t make sense at all.

Is there a police file or something?”  Mo Sen nodded.

“There is a file but we couldn’t open.

Not even our best tech guys could crack the top.

In fact it’s not a police file but a national security file and all i managed to find out is that it was sealed and you need top level clearance to see it’s contents.” “National security…” Caishen mumbled.

He leaned back in his hair and tapped his two thumbs together.

Suddenly he started to wonder what the great secret surrounding Lai Yanfang was.

“Thirty three suicides and national security…..” he mumbled.

It was abnormal indeed.
