In the blink of an eye, I am back with the two most important people in my life. I don’t even know how it happened, one minute my eyes were closed and the next minute I was in the cave with them.

"Is this real?’’ Gyles asks his voice shaking as he runs his hands over my face.

"You are real," I say quietly.

"You are real," I say again. I look at Rex and he is looking at me with the same expression on his face. I don’t know what happened to them but it is safe to say that we all went through the same things.

"What happened?" I ask as I sit down on the rock and Rex sits next to me. He looks at me and he looks like he is about to cry. I think about what I saw when I was in the cave. I remember the images that came to me. I think about almost losing them.

"It was messed up,’’ Gyles says as he runs his hands over his face. "It was like a bad trip; I was in the cave and then I wasn’t.’’

Rex takes my hand in his and he kisses my knuckles. I don’t want to even think about the things that happened because it is over and we are back together. The punishment is pointless because we made it through.

"So, what happens now?’’ Gyles asks.

The cave is no longer a place of punishment. It is a place of celebration. This is our mating ceremony. We are finally together and the future holds nothing but happiness for us. I look at the two men who have changed my life and I smile.

"We are together now," I say and I pull them both to me for a hug.

"I feel mine too,’’ I say because I can feel it tugging at my soul. "It wants to protect you and have you." I look at the two men that I love and I know that this is what my wolf wants. "I want to be with you both," I say that because I want to make sure that they know what is happening and that they are okay with it.

"I want to be with you too," Gyles adds quietly. The night is quiet, the moon is shining over us. I take a deep breath because my heart is racing against my chest, I am so ready for this intimacy because it has been a long time coming.

The moon is calling to me and I can feel my wolf getting more and more excited. I look at the two men that I love and they look as if they are ready for this. They are ready to have the connection that is meant for us.

I watch as his jaw starts to elongate and come together. I feel a hand on my back, I look over my shoulder and Rex is there with me, his hand on my back. I look back at Gyles and his eyes are fully amber, his wolf is close to the surface. I look at him and hold my hand out to him.

I pull him down to me just as my wolf pushes out of me, and a loud howl fills the night.

Suddenly, I lose all the doubt and confusion, I am so ready for this.
