Chapter 92: A seductive Villainess
Chapter 92: A seductive Villainess
Talk about hearing bad news, the news was terrific. How did she have that mark? "That’s a lot to take in, is there really no way to change my fate?" Abrielle inquired, Zoltana closed her eyes but suddenly jolted away.
Her hands were engulfed with black flames; Abrielle panicked and then poured her tea on the flames. Luckily it put off the little flames. After the flames were gone, there were no burn marks on Zoltana’s hands, but she knew the pain she felt in her hands.
It was burning her like venom. Zoltana sat on the floor stunned as she tried to recover from the shock. Her eyes stared at Abrielle, terrified; she had tried to see if there was a way to sever the bond of the flames or the source and the black flame attacked her.
It was as if it was protecting itself from Zoltana. "Are you alright?" Abrielle urgently asked. Zoltana shook her head and slowly stood.
. "I am sorry about my earlier actions, but something is preventing me from looking forward. The flame mark doesn’t want you to escape your fate and I can’t get rid of it. " Zoltana explained; she had never seen something like it; all she knew was it was a strong darkness.
Abrielle gripped her dress and tried to claim herself; there was no need to rush; she would take one step at a time. "It’s fine we can focus on unsealing my abilities." She answered then Zoltana nodded.
"We can start working on that tomorrow; the flames have drained my strength. Sorry for not being of better help." Zoltana apologized and bowed at Abrielle. She narrowed her eyes at Zoltana. She was glad she had this seer at her side, but Zoltana was an infamous con artist in the original book plot.
"How can I trust you considering your reputation?" Abrielle asked, causing Zoltana to glance back at her with a smirk.
"I know the princess is wary of me, but I am sure you know the truth, and aside, the reason I am helping you is because you have given me a stable life. Being a maid under you is much better than tricking nobles." Zoltana explained.
"You are dismissed now. I will call on you later," Abrielle answered; she had to focus on the event today, which was the victory banquet for Alfonso.
Zoltana nodded and then got on her feet; immediately, she closed the door behind her, and she fell on her knees, shivering. She was scared; she had come across curses and a lot of dark entities, but those flames were inhuman.
She withheld some information from the princess, there was no escape. Not only was the mark bonding her to her fate there was a supernatural power doing so. Zoltana has no idea of the system’s influence on Abrielle.
She was covered with sweat and trembling all over.
Back inside the room after Zoltana left, a blue screen finally appeared in front of Abrielle.

The sun was already setting on the horizon with the sky mixed with a perfect hue of orange mixed with the blue colours.
Cedric hadn’t returned up till now, not that she cared; he was probably wooing his new lover. "Do you want rubies or diamonds?" A voice called out the Abrielle who was still lost in a trance. No matter how hard she tried to focus on the victory banquet her mind was still thinking about what Zoltana talked about.
"I think diamonds, the rubies will be too striking," Abrielle mentioned; she was getting ready for her banquet, and her date wasn’t here yet, just as she expected. Abrielle had attended the banquet on her own in the original plot.
"In that case, we will go with the blue dress. It is perfect for your eyes." The royal seamstress Aurora suggested. She was impressed with the princess’s tender features.
"You are the expert," Abrielle agreed; she had a reason why she didn’t pick the ruby. If she had gone with that she would have worn a particular red dress. The one Abrielle originally chose and created too much drama, which she didn’t want right now.
"Alright, Your Highness, we have a few hours before the banquet, and this is important as it is the first time meeting the noble ladies of the capital," Aurora instructed, giving Abrielle tips about who to talk to or not.
Abrielle could barely hear a thing because of the evil corset being tightened on her. It was pure torture.
"Make sure to pay your respects to the Queen and avoid any unnecessary interactions with the men before you will be labelled as a whoredom woman. Then, if you get overwhelmed, there is the powder room." Aurora continued instructing Abrielle.
"We are done," one of Aurora’s ladies called for her attention. She gave one look at Abrielle and clicked her tongue. "She isn’t snagged enough. We need that tiny waist to be prominent," Aurora instructed, and Abrielle almost choked on her spit. After an hour of torture, Abrielle was finally ready. The dress was perfect and she would admit the torture was worth it.
"As expected for a princess, you look lovely, but I advise you to cut down on the amount of sweets you take. Your body is too eye-catching and curvy. The noble wives might label you as a flirtatious vixen, especially the queen." Aurora sighed,
"I thought having a beautiful body was a good thing." Abrielle sighed. To be honest, she did have a seductive body worthy of villainess.
"Not if you have a body the queen would be envious of; rumours have it the king wants another wife," Aurora whispered into Abrielle’s ears; well, that was something she had no idea.
"But it isn’t possible for the king to be interested in his son’s wife." Abrielle could not imagine that. "Trust me, with your body, he might think of keeping you a secret mistress. If I was Prince Cedric, I wouldn’t have a good night’s sleep knowing that you are my wife." Abrielle chuckled. She didn’t know if Aurora was buttering her up or telling the truth, but Cedric would never fall for her because of her body.
He was into softer girls like Callista, so her charms would never work on her husband.
