The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband
Chapter 239: A glimpse of the Devil

Chapter 239: A glimpse of the Devil

This was not how Abrielle expected her night to turn out. It just turned from bad to worse; why did she even bother coming to find Cedric putting her in this situation?

Her stomach churned recognizing the look in his eyes, she was completely disgusted. Being sexually assaulted by a drunk knight was not on her to-do list, but it seemed she might have to tick that extra box.

"This is the final warning," her voice drew, although it was an empty threat. She barely knew much about combat spells but she could put up a good fight. The only problem was that she could not openly use magic to risk her secret being exposed.

The knight laughed out, not impressed; he pulled her, slamming her against the wall while he towered against her. " I would love to see you try to make me regret it." He sneered at her. Abrielle in a last resort of escape, gritted her teeth and then kicked him in the balls.

This took the knight unaware; he let go of Abrielle, screaming in pain as he grabbed his bruised little business.

Abrielle used the opportunity to make a run for it but barely made it a few steps when she felt an excruciating pain in her hair. The bastard grabbed her head, tugging her backwards. It was painful. So darn painful Abrielle screamed out.

He pulled her down, her knees crumpled as she kicked and struggled to let go. "You slimy whore, I am going to teach you what is good for you.." he barked, raising his hand about to smack her right across the face. Her skull was in too much pain already to even care about the impending pain.

"Let go you bastard, you will regret the day you were born!!" Our villainess cried, cursing the knight, which aggravated him the most. "We will see who would regret the day he or she was born by the time I am done with you." He snapped his drunk flush cheeks getting redder with his eyes staring keenly at her.

"Cedric, please. Stop ignoring me, you bastard." she cried out, hoping he would hear her out despite turning a deaf ear to her.

Another scream echoed in the quiet hallway but it was Abrielle’s. Her hair was suddenly released from his hold, and the princess fell to her knees while the knight screamed in agony.

She managed to glance behind her, stunned, she saw the knight scream out his lungs as he slowly went on his knees. The agony in his voice was tormenting and scary to see a grown man sound that way, but what was she expecting when the execution was Cedric?

She gritted her teeth, annoyed he finally decided to help her like a devil that comes at the weakest time to tempt you. The knight was in so much pain he couldn’t speak.

Cedric was crushing the bones in his arm he was about to use to slap Abrielle while the other he was using to grab her hair was severed on the floor. Blood was splattered everywhere, the long sword in Cedric’s hands dripping with blood.

Abrielle was shaken watching the scene that made her stomach churn. His eyes were pitch black, and his face emotionless, held not an inch of remorse, and she knew he wasn’t done yet.

Cedric kicked the man on his knees making him crumble down. "You were warned several times, and now I have to stain my hands with blood, Deviante," he sneered.

The knight recognized him, the haziness clearing from his eyes pain and horror written on his face as he looked back at the first prince. He questioned himself what he had done to incur his wrath.

"What did I do to deserve this?" He could barely speak his words, turning into another pain-wrenching scream as Cedric stepped on his feet, crushing it under his weight. A smile graced the prince’s face, one that shook Abrielle to the core. Cedric was about to kill the knight.

She struggled to be on her feet, supporting herself by the wall. "Cedric please don’t..." She tried to warn him, but he didn’t care. His bloodlust was already so thick that Abrielle could not breathe.

"Don’t worry. After this, no one will be drunk or crazy enough to touch you because your husband is crazier ", Cedric laughed out; it happened so fast that Abrielle could not follow his moment. His hand moved, blood splashed, and a head rolled over to Abrielle’s feet.

The princess jumped in fright, falling on her butt. Next, she scampered, trying to run away. She stood up, bolting away.

A hand circled her waist, pulling her back; she was still struggling in his hold, terrified of the monster. His fingers traced her cheeks, "why are you so scared? I got rid of the bastard and you are safe now." He said, his voice sounding amused.

Abrielle kicked and scratched, continuing to break free. "You just killed a man and feel no remorse." She cried out, fear shaking her. Her frail effort didn’t make him budge. He pulled her closer, his face nestled in her hair, the scent of rose driving him insane, reminding him of the rose she accepted from Alfonso.

"Why should I feel remorse when I gave him what he deserved? Your scent has been enveloped by his disgusting scent." Cedric chimed, she could not see his face but she was sure he would be smiling now.

Abrielle could not accept it; she wanted the man to pay, but death completely shook her. She cussed Cedric, saying something she should never have. "You are a monster, let go of me!!!" She cried out, making him freeze, slowly raising his head from her face.

She could not see his reaction because she had her back against him but she regretted her words. His aura thickened to something she would describe as demon-like. Cedric’s smile finally fell, and a fleeting hurt gaze lingered on his face.

"A monster," he muttered. Her heart squeezed hearing this tone. .

A very dark smoke appeared out of nowhere and spiralled around them. The next thing she knew, she was being tossed away from his arm, her back falling on a bouncy bed with Cedric standing at the foot of the bed. He was smirking but his eyes were dead.
