Chapter 161: An Answer he Seeked**

Annalise pulled her face back a little bit to look at Kenric’s face and as their gazes met, she felt her entire being filling with the warmth of his fire.

The man moved and shifted into a sitting position with her still straddling him and his hardness buried deep inside her. One of his hands moved to wrap around her while the other took hold of her face as he placed soft kisses over her eyes, the tip of her nose, her cheeks, and the corner of her lips.

His lips brushed against hers and his warm breath fanned her already burning face as he whispered, "That’s true, my sweet little wife... I love you..." He confessed again and without giving Annalise any chance to respond, he once again sealed her lips in a deep passionate kiss.

And this time, the kiss felt different, it was more meaningful, more passionate, and filled with the truth of his confession and most importantly... it was more than just fire.

Annalise hurriedly pulled away from the kiss to look at Kenric as she felt the presence of another elemental energy running across her body along with his fire element. "This... It’s your... earth element..." Her voice was a mere whisper as she was filled with awe as her husband’s dual elements played with her own magic, teasing it, tasting it, and luring it to come out and dance together.

"It is..." Kenric seemed to be in just as much awe as she was, finally after so long his earth was finally responding to her. They could finally bond together as soulmates.

Her eyes became damp as she was suddenly overcome by emotions as realization hit her. Without wasting any moment, she pulled her man into a deep kiss while her hands moved to circle his shoulders, and at the very same time, she started rocking her hips.

A groan vibrated Kenric’s chest as he pulled her tightly against him while meeting every stroke of her tongue with a passion of his own. His hands were all over her body and soon enough, his mouth was also trailing kisses over her throat, collarbone, and breasts as he started thrusting his hips.

It didn’t take long before they were changing their position and once again, Annalise found herself pinned against the comforter while Kenric hovered over her as he slid himself inside her in a single hard thrust, causing her to moan and arch her back to meet his force.

He massaged her throbbing bud for a while, long enough to increase the height of the pleasure that was constantly building inside Annalise. Then, his hands were moving over her belly and then toward her breasts where he played with her nipples for a while. The dark lord slowly lowered his body on hers as he rested his forehead against hers while his hands moved to intertwine his fingers with hers. His thrusts became fast and deep as his fire and earth started consuming both of them while Annalise’s powers also soared high to join the fun.

A loud cry of Kenric’s name left Annalise’s lips as she reached her peak and found her release while he also came inside her. Their powers surrounded both of them like a cocoon and filled the entire room with their powerful presence.

It took several long moments before the last waves of pleasure finally washed over the two of them and left them bound to each other through the sacred bond of soulmates.

"We are bonded now." Annalise stated as she tightened her fingers around Kenric’s and watched as their moon threads glowed brightly.

"We are, love... and it’s at second stage." Kenric added as he placed a soft kiss against her temple and finally rolled over to lay on his back before he pulled her into his arms and cast a spell to clean them both and cover their naked bodies with a soft velvet blanket.

The two of them remained laying in each other’s arms for a while, enjoying the sweet moment right after they bonded together through the sacred bond.

Annalise closed her eyes and felt her connection with her other two soulmates who had felt her bond coming to life with Kenric and were seemed to be happy for both her and their brother.

"We should be moving now..."

"He’s coming home..."

Kenric and Annalise both spoke up at the very same time, respectively, which caused both of them to chuckle as they shared another sweet kiss that left their bond fluttering with magical butterflies.

The kiss lasted way longer than intended but neither of them were complaining. They finally made their way out of the bed and get dressed in clean pairs of clothes.

"Want me to help?" Kenric asked as he moved closer to her to help her with the ties of her dress on the back.

Annalise allowed him to help as she could hardly do the job on her own, she was only good at untying them and not the other way around.

"You look so beautiful, Little Bird, you always do. My sweet lovely wife." He complimented her as he finished tying the knots of her dress before he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her back to rest against his chest.

"You are being cheesy." Annalise responded as she relaxed in his embrace and a small smile kept playing on her lips while she allowed herself to enjoy the beautiful moment with Kenric.

"And you love me for that, don’t you, Little Bird?" His voice was soft as he asked the question, clearly looking for a certain answer that his ears wanted to hear.

Annalise remained silent for a couple of moments but long enough to make the man feel a little bit anxious which she was able to feel through their newly formed bond.

She finally turned around to face her husband as she whispered the answer only for him to hear - "Right... I do love you, Kenric."
