Annalise returned the kiss as she let her hands make their way around Kenric’s broad shoulders before she locked her fingers on his nape and he responded with an eager hum in his throat.

With every sensuous slide of the third dark Lord’s lips against hers, a sizzling energy carried waves of tingling pleasure all the way down to nestle and throb between her legs.

Kenric pulled her away from the wall and one of his hands returned to wrap around her while his other hand worked its way deep into her long platinum-blue hair, cupping her nape, while he sucked and tasted her mouth as if there was no tomorrow.

They kept kissing for a while, tasting, breathing into each other, until their lips were swollen and flushed, and they both were gasping for much-needed oxygen.

A thrumming heat glowed between her thighs, a sweet ache that yearned for him, for his hardness inside the soft slick places of her body.

"I have asked Damien to help Aunt Claire and the others in the kitchen, and Valerius won’t be returning for a while. How about we continue?" Kenric suggested as he took hold of her hands and pulled her toward the neatly prepared bed.

This was her very first time inside this particular bedroom but it seemed properly furnished and even a little bit decorated which made her a little confused but she didn’t have enough time to think about anything else but the man who had taken a seat on the edge of the bed and was waiting for her reply.

Instead of using words to reply, Annalise decided to show him with her actions, and thus, she pulled both her hands out of his hold and moved them on the back of her neck to untie the knots that were keeping her dress in place.

It took her only seconds to get the dress undone and then, it was sliding down her body, leaving her totally naked except for the flimsy white chemise that left little to the imagination.

Kenric didn’t even waste a single second as he pulled her to sit on his lap and Annalise made the bold move as she shifted her legs on either side of his thighs and sat straddling him. It caused their privates to brush against each other slightly through the barriers of their clothes but it was still more than enough to make both of them groan out loudly.

Kenric’s hands trailed over her barely covered body and it made her press herself against his firm muscular form. His hands were on her shoulders, sliding down to her collarbone and over her beeasts, and they were also trailing down her spine and over her thighs.

The soft lingering touches were driving Annalise crazy and she yearned for more.

She let out a small squeal of surprise when Kenric suddenly moved and she found herself pinned on the mattress under his well built muscular body. His hands were already working on the remaining clothes on her body and soon enough she was left completely naked while he only took off his tunic but left his trousers on.

When he lowered himself over her, his mouth captured her lips in another sweet kiss while the tip of his finger stroked her, right along the crease between her legs and it made her moan out loudly without any care of who would be listening to them.

Annalise squirmed under him as she found his words and breathy tone doing unexplainable things to her body. His words were like velvet and wine and whispers, a delicate seduction.

He knew her body very well, probably even better than she did. His fingers plowed gently through her folds, one finger dipping deeper before sliding inside her and causing her moan once again.

Annalise remained motionless for a while as she allowed her body to rest a while and only after several long moments had already passed, did she move.

She made Kenric lay on his back while she moved to hover over him, completely disregarding her nakedness as she asked a very important question, "How much time do we have?"

"More than enough, my sweet little wife." Kenric answered with a sweet smile that made his entire face glow up.

"Good." She had no idea how she did it but with a single wave of her wrist, she had removed his trousers and underpants while she was moving to straddle him once again.

"Stars, Annalise. You are so beautiful..." Kenric whispered the words as if they were only meant for him to hear and not even her. "... you are the bravest, purest, strongest, kindest, and sometimes... even craziest woman I have ever come across."
