Chapter 92: Fraternal twins

Grandma Huang stayed in the hospital for a whole week before Ryan gave a green light for her to rest at home.

She was able to recover peacefully and with Rose’s presence and never ending jokes, the woman was able to smile and laugh every single time.

The cars drove into the Lu residence where a magnificent meal was prepared to celebrate the recovery of the old lady and the reunion between Rebecca and her parents.

What the other members did not know is that the cunning Jane did something once again but this time, Nicole was 100% aware of it.

She had Ryan start some blood campaign stuff and most of the staff donated their blood, Mary inclusive.

She then spoke to Nicole about the possibilities of having Mary as her twin. By now, Nicole was completely comfortable with her identity as a Huang and she wanted to find out where exactly her sister is and so she readily agreed.

They had Nicole’s blood also taken out and Ryan performed a secret DNA test.

If they are fraternal twins then their composition was going to be 50%.

The results came out positive as they expected but Jane couldn’t help but feel dissapointed and happy at the same time. She always thought of making her her sister in law but turns out fate had something different for the girl.

She was on her way to the Lu mansion but she left after the others already left because she wanted to surprise them...she was together with Mary and the girl was so nervous that Jane could clearly feel her nervousness.

She couldn’t help but remember how she made the girl aware of her identity.

Flashback

It was the day Jane had been waiting for.

She rushed to Ryan’s office when he called her and informed her that the results were out.

Jane anxiously opened the enveloped and her thoughts were confirmed, 50% maternal and 50% paternal.

"And here I was thinking I have found a sister in law.. looks like I need to start another hunt."

The girl couldn’t help but complain making her brother chuckle. "Come on Sis, this shows she is not my fated soul mate and we should be feeling happy we have found her before anything happens to her."

Ryan replied her back making the girl nod.

"Call her here Ryan, I want her to know of her identity."

Ryan looked at her as if he was doubting her idea when Jane continued,

"Stop giving me that look Mr, I know how to handle this situation perfectly."

The man nodded and made a call to Mary.

Before long, the door was knocked and in came a beautiful lady dressed perfectly in her office clothes.

"Come take a seat Mary, I want to share a story with you." Jane said as she patted the seat next to her.

Mary seemed confused but followed her instructions.

"You see Mary, there once was a woman who fell pregnant, the father unknown but she passed through a lot of challenges until the time of her delivery."

"She ended up giving birth to her beautiful fraternal twins but in an unauthorized hospital. Two years later, exactly when her daughters turned 2, she was brutally murdered."

Mary didn’t know why she felt some deep pain when Jane talked about the woman being brutally murdered.

"The man who brutally murdered her re married and one of the woman’s daughter ended up in his second wife’s hands."

"After one of the daughters ended up in their hands, she has grown being mistreated and at some point, molested. The other girl ended up in an orphanage and that is how the two siblings got separated."

"The girl who ended up in the orphanage always thought that her parents did not love her or that they abandoned her and that is why she ended up in an orphanage but what can this girl do when she finds out that she was put there to save her?"

"Tell me Mary, in your opinion, what would you do if you found yourself in such a situation?"

Mary who was quiet all this while finally spoke up, "If I was in the girl’s situation, I wouldn’t dare blame anyone but if I have the ability, I would try finding my sister and help her out solve the mystery surrounding our mother’s death."

Her tone could make one feel like she really was in that situation but neither Ryan nor Jane knew that something was paining the girl deep down but she herself did not know why and how.

Jane took the envelope from earlier and handed it over to Mary. The girl opened the envelope and started reading the content.

Her eyes widened in shock but Ryan’s next words made the girls feel like someone was tearing her heart into pieces.

"Mary, Jane’s story is not just any other story but your life story, that is how you ended up in the orphanage, the elders you have seen since Monday are your grandparents Mary."

"How... how is this po...possible...? I have a family...I have a family..."
