Jane woke up, rubbing her eyes trying to register her surrounding when she suddenly stiffened. She face palmed herself when she realized she had slept in Liam’s house again.

"Why do I completely lower my guards around him everytime?" She asked herself as she quickly got out of bed.

She arrived in the living room only to find Liam’s body squeezed on the sofa and his comforter on the ground.

She sighed softly as she looked at the man. He sacrificed his good night sleep for her.

Jane went to where Liam’s body was and picked the comforter. She carefully spread it on his body. She sat on the table next to the couch and looked at his facial features for a whole minute.

"Even in your sleep you look so handsome... will I even be able to resist your advances?" She ruffled his hair slightly as her hands went to down to his face, down to his lips.

Jane stared at his lips for some time before gaining her senses. She stood up and left his penthouse but she didn’t know the man on the couch was trying to suppress his smile.

Earlier on, Liam was already awake but when he heard Jane’s footsteps, he quickly pretended to be asleep. He wanted to know what the girl would do or say, seeing him in such a situation.

His heart was squealing in joy when he felt her hand ruffle his hair. She was close that he could get her signature vanilla scent clearly.

He felt her hand slide down his face and to his lips.

He wanted to just pounce on her and kiss her but he knew better than to act in a rush manner.

When she left his penthouse, the man quickly sprinted to his bedroom and threw himself on the bed.

"Aaah! Perfect! Her warmth is still here and so is her smell!"

The man was completely drunk in love while Jane was struggling to answer her brother.

It so happened that when they were hugging, Ryan happened to see everything! The man was tired the previous night and decide to go to his sister’s penthouse which is nearer only to get out of the second elevator, finding the two hugging affectionately...someone had some explaining to do!

Jane got into her penthouse only to be startled by her brother’s voice.

"So his hug is now better than mine sis?"

She almost screamed but suddenly stiffened when she registered his words.

"What hug are you talking about Bro... Hehehe... "

She sounded really nervous but tried to compose herself and she failed miserably.

Ryan chuckled and looked at her, "I saw and heard everything and my intuition as a man tells me this man is sincere about you. Take your time my dear sister but I hope you won’t say no to him in the long run."

Jane pouted as she gave him a glare, "I thought brothers are supposed to chase suitors away but my own brother is doing the exact opposite!"

"I only chase those who do not deserve my sister’s love but I also want to see my sister happy and in love. I want you to have someone to take care of you when the rest of us won’t be around, a man who gives you the same energy you give and I absolutely know Liam is the only man who can do that.. plus I saw the Liane... ouch sis!"

He did not finish when Jane’s handbag slapped his face making his nose red suddenly. He looked up only to see the girl about to blow up.

Ryan did not need to be told that he will be thrown out in the next minute and threw himself out. He knew she is not mad but she is Just shy and he was making fun of her endlessly.

Jane slammed the door after Ryan threw himself out and covered her face which was now beetroot red.

Her brother’s words reminded her everything that transpired that evening and she couldn’t help but feel shy.

She sighed as she headed to the kitchen,

"I won’t stress myself over this, I will let fate take the wheel."

She repeatedly told herself as she poured herself a glass of warm water.

Indeed fate was going to take the wheel and they will end up falling helplessly in love with each other.

The week went by fast and the long awaited day finally arrived.

The day Chloe cosmetics was going to do a launch.
