"Baby. What flavors did you bring?"

Jane immediately rushed to greet her husband, as if she’s not the one who just chased him minutes ago.

"I brought a lot of flavors My love. Anything that you want. Oh, and I got you this."

Liam equally showed her the snacks, and out of excitement, Jane immediately jumped on him and if it were not for the man’s quick reflexes then they would both be down as he tightly held her by her thighs, both hands holding bags of products, but the girl was not even ready to let go.

"Baby?"

"Yes love?"

"I’m sorry. I don’t know what has gotten into me. I’m sorry for shouting at you. I’m sorry for accusing you."

She gently whispered her apologies in his ears and Liam couldn’t help but smile as he felt her helpless nature at the moment as he slowly put down the bags on the table before finally having all his attention directed towards her as he carefully made her stand, making the woman wonder what was wrong with him, if he was not going to forgive her or not.

"Well, it’s okay my love, but I think I have an answer as to why you’re behaving this way."

"Hmm, what do you think?"

Liam just handed her the bag that contains pregnancy tests, earning a confused look from Jane, but the moment she looked inside the bag, her eyes widened in shock as she looked at her husband, back to the bag and back to her husband again.

"Pregnancy?"

"I believe so my love, because look at how you have been behaving. You have been sleeping a lot and your mood swings just...they just pop out of nowhere. And of course, you really crave things that you used to crave when you got pregnant with the twins back then, the only thing that is different this time is that you do not have morning sickness at all."

And Jane slowly started evaluating his words, and the more she listened to him, the more she in fact, agreed with him, but she stopped when she realized that some things just don’t happen easily.

"But how, baby, how?"

"Wow. Are you using your pregnancy brain right now, my love?"

Liam immediately received a glare from her, making him surrender, as he immediately remembered that one thing he should never do is provoke a pregnant lady.

"We have been having unprotected sex since you woke up baby, that is the reason why."

"If....If it’s the truth, are you ready to become a father again like...?"

"Mami, is that even a question? Of course I am! As long as you are the mother, I am more than ready baby."

"And this time round, I really wish for a girl. I want a mini you running around. I wanna see my wife in my children."

"Of course. Furthermore, she’ll have two big brothers protecting her."

"Aish! look at us. We’re already planning as if we are even pregnant and I’ve not even tested anything."

Just like that, the two walked into the bathroom together, went through the same process of testing the pregnancy and they put all five tests on the bathroom sink as they held hands with each other because they were waiting for the results and they were nervous.

"What if I’m really pregnant? Isn’t it too early?"

"It’s never too early my love. Infact, it all came naturally. So there is no need for you to fret. There is no need for you to fear."

"Is it weird for me to think that this is the baby that we lost? If at all there is a baby in my stomach, is it weird to feel that this is that one sweetheart that we ended up losing?"

"Then I must say, God really loves us."

"Yeah. Oh, times up!"

"Are you ready?"

Liam chuckled as he replied her back.

"More than ready, honey."

"three...two.....one."

"We are having another baby!!"

"We’re having another baby!"

Liam immediately took her as he made her sit on the seat bathroom sink before he took her mouth in for a kiss. A kiss that is full of excitement and untold promises.

"We’re having another baby. You’re going to be a mother again and I’m going to be a father again. Isn’t it beautiful?"

"It sure is."

"All is left is to visit the doctor and know how far and of course get your pregnancy supplements."

"Wait, how did you even figure out that I was pregnant?"

"I was getting confused baby. We argued each and every single day. So why won’t I try to figure out something?"

"I didn’t like the direction our relationship was heading to and I knew for a fact that I had not done anything wrong, so it was really eating me up. And when you sent me to get you ramen, I decided to call your mom."

"Traitor! So that is who she was talking to. I tried calling her and her line was busy. You...."

"Yeah, I figured out she’d know her daughter best."

"Oh, that she does alright.."

"Now that we have confirmed there is a little bean in here, let’s go feed Mama and baby."

"Oh, the frozen ramen! I have not even looked into them. You bad man!"

"What? I just had to make sure that you’re pregnant so that they can find a reason to your mood swings. They are killing me, baby."

"I’m sorry my love."

"It’s nothing baby. It’s nothing baby. As long as you’re healthy, as long as our baby’s healthy, I’m okay. I can endure. I mean, I endured before, right?"

"Yeah, right. Whatever."

The two carefully left the bathroom as they headed down back downstairs, but the house was extremely quiet since the twins were with their grandparents, explaining why Mrs. Lu was still up at such a moment.

"Oh, this one has pork in it. Hmm, the soup looks rich just by looking at this package. I think I’ll try this one. Which one are you going to try?"

"Hmm, this one seems to have beef. I think I’ll go with this."

And just like that, the couple pulled their frozen ramen in their bowls as they put it in the microwave, both seated with excitement of course, as they awaited for their bowls.

Ding..

Liam immediately rushed the microwave as he took out both plates, one from the other microwave and one from the microwave he was standing before as he took them carefully to the table, of course accompanying it With some drink.

"Oh, this soup looks so rich. This soup looks so rich. Thank you, baby."

Jane did not mind any etiquette as she immediately dug in, making her husband smile at her fondly as he equally dug in and the moment the couple had their first taste, they looked at each other, eyes wide open in approval as they turned back to their plate, digging more, not minding the other.

"Oh, I think I know. I found my new favorite meal!"

"Make sure they are restocked right on a daily basis or on a weekly basis."

Jane casually spoke to her husband as she stretched her legs aside, signifying that she was full and a sign that she was not intending to disturb anyone at the moment.

The two quietly took their drinks as they watched the cartoon that was playing on their television. Ever since they had their twins, they have been accustomed to watching cartoons every now and then, and therefore a cartoon that was playing at the moment was not even something that they could escape because at this point they were accustomed to it.

It was quiet for a moment before Jane asked something.

"So when are we heading to the hospital?"

"Umm, I have a meeting tomorrow. I think we can go in the afternoon. My schedule is free from the afternoon going forward."

"Ah, perfect."

"Oh, mom is going to be here tomorrow, by the way."

"Huh. Why? Is there anything wrong?"

"Or do you want the twins to be brought back?"

"Not really. Let that stay where they are. Those two energetic balls, I can’t catch up with them nowadays. I think they’re better off stressing their grandparents."

Liam just laughed as he felt pity for his grandparents and his parents, because he knew that the twins were really exerting energy on them. But since none of them had complained, then they were going to let the twins stay with their family members for some time.

"Oh, it’s just a punishment that she is partaking in, you know, being busy on the phone at midnight while she has her daughter. So what if I was having an emergency? Hmm. Would I have died without her helping me simply because she was on the phone with somebody else who apparently is you?"

"In fact, I should be punishing both of you. Yes, I should be punishing both of you."

Mom is preparing me her best of the best meal and of course I’m going to punish you with the same...ah....and a daily massage. Make sure you massage my feet well, my... my back too and I don’t want my feet to swell, so make sure you do the necessary and you should also....."

And justice like that, the helpless Liam was equally put on punishment mode and he could do nothing about it apart from nodding and apart from adding it to his schedule, because he knew that failure to do that, the house was going to blow.
