Truthfully speaking, Rebecca knew her niece more than her own parents did since she spend time together with her daughter most of the time.

The outside world thinks the girl is strong enough but she knows the girl is sensitive and fragile deep down. She knows how much Jane loved Edward but the man’s betrayal just because of sex hurt her so bad.

When she received news that Edward was heading to country B, she decided to travel too and make things difficult than they already are.

Edward arrived at his hotel room and immediately made a call to his father, "The situation is not good dad, there is solid proof of the wrongs done and it seemed that somehow the Huang Family is involved in this. You know how reputable they are. We can just deny knowing anything that has been happening in these branch companies and use the managers as scape goats." He told his father immediately the man picked up his phone.

Mr Chen on the other hand had to agree with his son on this since they had absolutely no power in country B that is why they had to use underhand methods to operate their branch companies.

If only Jane was still their daughter-in-law to be then they could easily solve their problem, she had influence in both countries! He gritted his teeth as he thought of it.

Edward on the other hand spoke bringing him back to reality.

"Aah yes son, just do what you feel is best for the company, we will be supporting you."

He replied sounding tired and bothered. To him, no one else than Jane Lu could make a perfect daughter-in-law, not even Diana Wu but that girl dared threaten his family before him! He must teach her a lesson and when she begs he will take her back in as his to be daughter-in-law. He can even make Edward take over Lu cooperation once the girl becomes submissive to their every demand.

He did not know when he hung up on his son but what he knew is that he wanted the best power in the country and he can only get it through being in laws with the Lu family and not through Anna Lu but Jane Lu!

Edward thought that his father was too exhausted and stressed that he hung on him so he did not mind much, right now what he needed was a woman to empty his desires and the day’s stress.
