Edward on the other hand didn’t bother much on why there were gunshots on the other end since they are a gang. Anyway, if they won’t contact him back then he was going to find a new gang.

His breathing started turning heavy the more he stared at Jane’s picture. He couldn’t keep his mind and thoughts straight. He wanted her back, his woman...he craved her, he wanted her so bad that his line of thoughts immediately turned inappropriate but little did he know that he had woken up a violent storm that was going to swallow his whole family.

The next day, the business world was hit with explosive news in regards to the Chen cooperation.

The Chen cooperation was trending due to the fact that they have evaded taxes from the very start, they have been involved in very dirty and disgusting businesses and not to mention that both Edward and Father Chen were accused of defiling different women.

"Chen cooperation is the literal meaning of don’t judge a book by it’s cover because WHAT!!"

"Aargh! I am so mad at them right now!"

Edward, who had peacefully slept off with Jane filling his dreams was still unaware of the fact that they had been exposed during the night.

His phone continuously rang and by the time he finally gathered his strength to pick it up, he barely said hello as his father’s anxious voice came from the other end.

"Son! We are done! we are done!! Everything is out!!"

Edward immediately jumped out of bed upon hearing his father’s anxious voice and the more he heard, the wider his eyes opened, his heart beat not doing any better.

He hang up on his father as he quickly logged onto his social media account and the more he read the paler he became. He was not ready to serve a life sentence, not ready to lose all his hard work! He frantically jumped out of bed as he paced from one end to another, his anxiety hitting the roof. He needed help, yes help but whe.. JANE!!

He immediately rushed towards his phone and was about to call Jane but remembered that he had been blacklisted but he couldn’t help but try his luck. Unknown to him, Jane had intentionally unblocked him became alongside Liam, she knew the man was going to eventually seek her and ofcourse, he didn’t disappoint their expectations.

"Pfft! Ha! Are things that bad?" Jane loudly laughed as they both watched the phone ring and after the seventh ring, she decided to answer the call, putting it on loud speaker.

"Jane! Baby! Thank God I found you! You have to tell them I am innocent baby.. I.."

"Bold of you to call my woman such names in my presence Mr Chen." Liam’s hostile voice replied instead making Edward frown before refusing to back down.

"Shut up and give her the phone!" He replied back with the same hostility.

"I am not a fan of hearing someone shouting at my man early in the morning. You have just pissed off my man thus pissing me off. Good luck Mr Chen." Jane immediately cut the call short as she directly blocked him.. again.

"Damn it! Jane! You are supposed to be on my side! You.." Edward’s cursing was interrupted by a series of loud knocks and before he could create an escape route, the door was banged open as multiple men in uniform stormed to his room, surrounding him. Edward was now a wanted criminal who was not even given a chance to defend himself as he was immediately handcuffed.

Well...there wasn’t really much to defend himself off in the first place since all the evidence provided was more than accurate and true, the only remaining thing was for him to be thrown in prison but since there was a protocol to be followed, the man was to be arraigned in court in exactly three days.

"You hate it when you’re man is pissed off Huh.." Liam teased Jane as he gently bit her nose earning a cute scrunch from her.

The girl wiggled her brows back at him in response before rolling her eyes at him.

This action immediately brought Liam to a halt as he immediately pinned her down and came on top of her. "Did you just roll your eyes at me princess?"

Jane stubbornly kept quiet as she enjoyed being desired by her man and of course, She enjoyed pushing his buttons.

Liam did not reply and silently studied his woman, her face, every single feature before aligning his lips with different parts of her face as he gently placed tiny kisses everywhere.

Jane closed her out of habit but Liam instructed her to open them. He wanted her to see how much he loved her. As he went down her neck, still leaving the gentle kisses, he did so maintaining eye contact with her, his blue eyes locked on her green ones.

Liam went lower and lower and when he finally got to her tummy he couldn’t help but gently lift her pajamas and place his hands at either side of her stomach before smooching it all over.

"Hello baby..daddy says good morning..how are you my love?"

Jane watched as the man gently conversed with his child, his every single action laced with carefulness.

"I love you Liam." She quietly whispered only for the man to look back at her and give get a heartwarming smile.

"I love you more.... wife."

The news about Edward’s arrest filled the tabloids and most people watched the stocks of the company drop at an alarming rate. Father Chen’s arrest was not kept a secret too as Mother Chen was seen crying to the police on how innocent her husband and son are but no one paid heed to her.

All this happenings were unaware to Anna who had slept off in the hands of a strange man, one who once again and funnily resembled Liam. She was unaware that her downfall was next.

With the downfall of the Chen family, many more articles accompanied by evidence splashed the internet, sinking the Chen family down further. At this moment, some didn’t let go off this opportunity as they stated how lucky Jane was breaking up with the guy because if not then the Lu family would be in hot iron but again, because of Anna, some dared to try dragging the Lu’s into the scandal but their accounts and comments immediately disappeared, as if they were not there in the first place.

"One down, a couple more to go.." Jane muttered as she watched the progress of the situation, feeling satisfied that she had ’added a little bit of spice’ like she promised.
