Jane headed to the stage still amazed by Rose and Jordan’s actions. The whole venue was erupting in a huge round of applause, especially from artists under JL entertainment since they knew this lady was responsible for their success in the industry.

Once she got to the stage and received the microphone, the girl chuckled through the microphone as she put it aside to have some laugh.

Her actions made the people below the stage laugh alongside her because they could tell she knew nothing about this award nor was she prepared for this.

"Well.." The girl started as she stared at the trophy on her right hand. "Everything has been sudden that I have been caught unaware. Of course I quickly adjust in the business world but right now, I feel like a girl being forced to confess to her crush before an audience!"

The entire hall erupted in laughter as they admired the woman’s smile and of course jovial mood. For the business men who had expanded into the entertainment industry, they knew that the look Jane was wearing right now was the complete opposite of the look she wore everyday in the business world.

"Regardless, I would like to thank the organizers for including this in the awards category and to JL, cheers darlings and to more wins, that is where you belong."

Her speech was short and precise and some artists could have sworn that their eyes started stinging with tears because of Jane’s words. They felt so lucky being under JL!

As the audience applauded her, one old man decided to comment only for him to regret the moment those words came out of his mouth.

"Sigh! How I wish she become my granddaughter in law!" The moment he said this to his friend, the air around them changed that even others could feel quite uncomfortable but didn’t know what caused such.

The old man felt as if someone was about to murder him and he accidentally looked over to his side only to meet with Liam’s intimidating gaze making him widen his eyes in realization and shock.

He wanted to say something to calm Liam but it happened that Jane arrived at the same time and the murderous aura immediately vanished but that didn’t mean Liam didn’t give him warning gazes.

’Do you think you can steal my baby, hmmph!’ His inward self rebuked the man who on the other hand was thanking Heavens because he was sure that if Jane did not come then he was going to face his death today in this venue, caused by none other than Liam.

Anna on the hand felt everything getting worse because first she did not get a reward and second, her mortal enemies were getting praised instead of her. She really wanted to ease off her frustrations because even after sleeping with one of the judges, she never got anything and yet she had to please that ugly man for two damn straight days!

She knew only sex could make her feel better but the moment she looked at Edward for some ease, the girl lost her cool when she found him staring at Jane with guilt and love in his eyes.

That was enough to piss her off that she immediately took out her phone and sent out her text. She really wanted a way to deal with her frustrations and Anna being Anna, used sex as her stress reliever.

A couple of minutes after she sent the text and received a reply, Edward’s phone indicated a new message but didn’t even realize that Anna was not by his side.

The message was an image of Anna’s chat with that man or rather, Lucas. Alongside the image was a text that completely degraded him as a man. ’How does it feel to wear a green hat Mr Chen? Your own fiancee being banged in the washroom right now and you were next to her, are not able to satisfy your woman or did you get together with a whore?’

Edward read the text and double checked the image and right now, shock was an understatement for him. He looked at Anna’s seat and it was indeed empty. The woman didn’t even tell him where she went and this made him believe the text further.

Back at Linda’s apartment, the girl was busy laughing as she looked at the CCTV footage of the hall, where she could clearly see Edward’s face and this was more than pleasing.

During the entire week, she had spent most of her time with Jane and once she knew about the event, she asked for Jane’s permission to deal with the girl during the event and of course Rose was the most excited one.

It so happened that Mary found them one time when she visited Jane and since the girl had more than enough gadgets due to her position, not forgetting her master, she offered some gadgets to Linda that were going to help her get revenge because according to her, Jane’s hacking wasn’t enough and the Jane couldn’t agree less.
