Chapter 117: I love you

An apology by Cynthia Xi was posted online where the girl claimed to be drugged, explaining her violent behavior and many understood, including her fans.

Before the Xi family could rejoice, an anonymous account spread the test report showing that the girl had no drug in her system according to the test carried.

This lead to yet another fresh scandle where the people called them liars and murderers, bringing down the company stocks rapidly.

There was also news of the death of the heiress of the now fallen Wang family and according to the source, the girl got into an accident, her car blowing up and it burned her body beyond recognition.

Three days were now over since Jane was operated on and her peole were now starting to get worried.

She was supposed to wake up a day earlier but the eager family was utterly dissapointed when the girl’s body did not move a bit.

"When will she wake up Ryan?"

Liam asked as he paced up in the room where everyone was seated with worried faces.

"I honestly don’t know when she will wake up, maybe.."

He did not finish when Liam jumped eagerly as he explained his plan.

The rest nodded, agreeing with him and the man went and sat beside Jane as he held her hand in his.

"Hey my love. I just wanted to remind you that I am in deep love with you, I know that deep down you also feel something for me, your Liam is waiting for you baby girl..."

Liam did not bother to hide his feelings even before the elders.

He looked at her but when he still did not see a sign, he contiuned,

"Come on love, I know you miss my cooking, how about you wake up and I will make you as much lambchops as you want, your favourite... She moved! I swear I felt her hand move!"

Liam did not finish his story when Jane moved slightly, making the man shout in excitement.

The rest stared carefully and they indeed saw some movement, making their eyes lit up and widen in shock at the same time.

The girl struggled opening her eyelids but when she did, she immediately shut them because of the light.

Liam realized what was troubling her and immediately moved close, blocking the lights and allowing the girl to open her eyes once again.

Jane opened her eyes for the second time only to observe her surrounding and realize she was in the hospital.

She tried speaking but her throat was so dry and so she had to use signs to ask for a glass of water.

Once she drank the water, she cleared her throat before calling out,

"L.. Liam?"

Liam carefully pulled her in for a hug.

"I am here my queen, I am here, at your service."

"Liam.. Liam... I...I am alive.."

The girl suddenly burst into tears scaring most of them.

"Shh! Do not cry my queen, you survived and that was destiny and fate. You were meant to survive the tragedy, we missed you Jane.."

Liam’s voice was now becoming heavy and one could feel the fear and hurt in it.

"I am sorry Liam, I made you wait.. Liam.. I.. I love you, I wanted to confess to you on that day, before everyone but I was attacked. F*ck surprise confessions, even in a hospital bed, it is still a confession, as long as we love each other nothing matters, right?"

She did not get a reply because the man was already frozen when she said the three magical words.

A sudden applause scared Jane and brought Liam back from his thoughts.

Jane looked around only to see everyone present, like everyone she considered family.

The girl’s cheeks were suddenly tinted with blush as she pushed Liam and tried hiding under the blankets.

That was so embarrassing! And to think the man she just confessed to just froze without saying a word irked her.

Grandma Yang was the happiest of all the people present! Her grandson found the perfect Mrs Yang.

The applause brought Liam back and the man once again processed Jane’s words and he turned to remove the sheets.

He was about to dive in for a kiss when his grandpa cleared his throat loudly, reminding the happy man they were not alone.

He just retracted but carefully adjusted the bed, making the girl rest in his embrace as he whispered,

."I love you too Jane, so much baby, I have to thank you in a special way but you know I can’t right now because of the elders.... Hehehe..."
