Chapter 82: Elites crows
What do you mean by world is ending? Jack frowned. When Casper had spoke of a lingering danger he’d thought it to be on a smaller scale. But not only was he in danger but enders planet was also not spared.
Yes. Apparently bringing you back to life wasn’t against the rules. Which in turn angered beings you don’t wanna mess with. So in return you’re going to be hunted and hopefully killed. Casper blurted out with a wicked smile making jack’s face go pale.
No~ Kelly. He wasn’t worried about himself. Having been dead it didn’t faze him to die again. But he couldn’t afford to loose Kelly because of some weird delusions by beings that are considered myths.
You said bringing me back was against the rules how does it relate with enders? Am no longer there so shouldn’t it be this world that’s targeted?
Unfortunately no. According to the rules you’re considered an anomaly and your home, which is enders. Must be destroyed to balance the chain of the universe. Hearing Casper jack’s head ached with a terrible migrain.
First he had to worry about beings higher than him hunting him. Second enders planet was going to be destroyed because of him. And the worst part of it all was he was powerless to do anything about it.
There has to be a way to prevent enders destruction. Take me instead. Jack spoke in a rather pleading tone. He was thankful for a second chance but the thought of living without Kelly was just unbearable.
Trust me I would’ve definitely killed you. Casper smirked with a light smile. His two big emerald eyes glowing brightly.
But for some strange reasons.. my master wants me to keep you alive. So I have no other choice than to oblige.
Hades wants me alive? The thought of that puzzled jack deeply. At first he’d thought the black cat was pulling one of him but the creatures expression was dead serious.
If you’re done with your thoughts can we start the bonding process? Casper spoke pulling jack from his thoughts.
Bonding process? Jack’s brow crunched into a frown. He knew what bonding meant but he couldn’t be too sure with this strange being.
Yes. Don’t tell me you aren’t aware of what I just said? Casper frowned with a seething glare. He’d thought jack would understand what he meant but apparently the latter’s face said otherwise.
I-i understand what it means but what I don’t get is why you’d choose to bond with me. And aren’t you already bonded with hades? According to his system Aethone mentioned there were scenarios where characters made contact with powerful beasts.
Forming a pact with them according to certain conditions and reasons. By forming a pact or bond with such beasts. Either by signing a contract or other bizzare ways.
He knew Casper didn’t like him and he also felt the same. So why would this feline choose to bond with him.
If Casper wanted to protect him as requested by hades he could do so without bonding.
Look it isn’t in my goodness to associate with a filthy less superior being. But, I have to obey master’s wish. Casper coldly said and jack understood the message. Giving a nod of acknowledgement.
Good, now let’s start the bonding process.
************
Zephyr continent, nerve city.
In the heart of zephyr continent a grand majestic building stood proud. Towering the skies surpassing several other tall buildings.
Down below several black SUV’s were stationed at the parking lot. Along with multiple individuals in special black ops uniform marching into the building.
W-what’s happening? Jane thought seeing the elites crow storm the presidential building.
The elites crow comprised of the continents finest group of soldiers. Trained under harsh conditions and groomed to be the best in their field.
They were a secret to the three continents and we’re known for only one thing. To kill once activated by only the president.
It’s been a while young Jane. A voice said along with the tapping of heels to the smooth tiled floors. Out from the crowd of no less than 20 crows a figure stepped out.
He was a young man with short dark hair wearing a suiting black suit and pants. He had a considerable thin frame with a wicked scar running along his left cheek.
Max! I didn’t expect you to come. Jane hurriedly bowed shuddered a bit.
Taking a big puff from his cigarette the man didn’t respond immediately. Resting his arms on the counter releasing the cigarette smoke.
Haha! No worries, it’s not like am going to kill you. Max let out an eerie chuckle making Jane’s eyes contradict more.
O-of course.. haha! You always crack me up. She lied awkwardly laughing. But in reality she was inwardly shaking.
Letting out a sigh max tossed the half used cigarette to the floor. His expression taking a more serious turn.
We’re here to see the old man. Gulping Jane’s heart sank more hearing max request. Being the leader of the crow’s elites she was well aware of what sort of individual he was.
Cold and ruthless was the perfect definition with a touch of insanity to sum it all up.
T-the president isn’t in right now. He’s currently in Agathe continent handling some affairs. She stuttered trying her best to sound as normal as possible.
Clicking his tongue max let out a sigh of disappointment. Really, now that’s a bummer.
A-am so sorry Mr max. Maybe you could check back in a weeks time, he most definitely will be back by then.
No need. I’ll just have to reschedule for later. He said slightly shaking his head. Turning he calmly walked away from the counter.
Phew.. I didn’t think he would leave. Jane sighed in relief seeing max leaving. She didn’t know what strange things the leader of the most ruthless elites in zephyr continent wanted to discuss with the president. But she had all Marcus schedules and meeting with max wasn’t on it.
And the latter had failed to inform her before hand about such. So she couldn’t risk such a meeting happening without the president consent.
Jane! Max called out startling her. She could see him approaching her with a weird smile which caused her heart to thump faster.
D-did you forget something?
Oh no. It’s just.. I can tell when someone’s lying through their eyes. Max smiled darting a piercing glare at her.
W-what do you mean? I would never-
Don’t bullshit me or I’ll blow your brains out. Max frowned instantly pulling out a gun from his side. Stunned Jane could see her life flash before her eyes. Knowing this deranged individual wouldn’t hesitate to kill her.
Don’t bother calling security. They’re all unconscious. Max shook his head seeing Jane’s hand reach for underneath the counter.
Now now.. this isn’t how I imagined out meeting. Another voice spoke and out from the elevator emerged none other than Marcus. Dressed in the same sleek black office suite and pants.
Well well speak of the devil. A lewd smile appeared on max face. His attention shifting from Jane to Marcus.
If you don’t mind I’d prefer you don’t point a gun to my secretary. Marcus smiled to which max responded with a light scoff.
