The Throne Is Mine
Chapter 317

Chapter 317: Chapter 317

"Why do you look so bored, Amelia? Don’t tell me that you’re missing your husband already. Don’t be boring," said Lilith. She was ready to raise hell with Amelia and have fun with all the women tonight.

Lilith had never been so impatient in her life as she waited for the sun to go away and the moon to come out so that she would have fun. It would have been much better if Amelia wasn’t pregnant so they could get drunk and do stupid things.

"I am not thinking about Killian. I was thinking about my mother and why she has not returned yet. She volunteered to walk my aunt out of the castle but has not returned yet. I am trying to think of what the two of them could say to each other. I hope they are not fighting," Amelia replied.

"Why? I am in the mood to see a good fight. Your mother looks like she can handle herself and your aunt doesn’t seem easy either. I say we let them pull each other’s hair out and get it over with. Do you want to go out to see if they are fighting? A little chaos might make you know what grow well," Lilith said, pointing at Amelia’s stomach.

"I know that you are here mostly to help me communicate with demons and to help me judge everyone’s sins, but if you are bored, you can explore the kingdom. There is so much for you to see, Lilith. Take a few guards and explore. Your time here should be fun," Amelia said, wanting Lilith to see what had changed since she had become a demon.

"I am already having a lot of fun here with you. Your family is so full of drama so it is always entertaining. I mean, look at the man your mother is walking with. You just got your mother back and it looks like you’ll find a new father. Where else could I be so entertained?" Lilith questioned, enjoying the shock coming over Amelia’s face.

"Mother," Amelia said as she stood up. She looked at Leonard who she had sent demons to find. "I have been waiting for you to return."

"I walked your aunt for a bit and then I was lucky to see Leonard. We have been catching up with each other. I am sorry that I worried you," Anne answered. She kept a space between her and Leonard to not worry Amelia, but judging by the way Amelia stared at the two of them, thoughts were already running wild in Amelia’s mind.

"I see. The two of you have a lot to catch up on. Are you two...you know," Amelia said, hoping they would finish it for her.

"Amelia, that is not something you can just ask your mother and I have just met Leonard after two years. We are not running to the temple to get married so you have nothing to fear. I won’t get married again," Anne promised.

"I know about you two having a relationship before my father and I am not against you getting married again, mother. You can try again with someone you love. What I find weird is that I have teasingly called Leonard my uncle and now he might become my second father. I already have an itch to call him uncle to make him angry, but now I have to change that. Father," Amelia tested the word.

"Amelia, please refrain from freaking out Leonard. It is not as you think," Anne said, fearing they might make Leonard feel awkward.

"It is completely as I think. Each time you deny it, he stiffens. If you deny it any longer, Leonard will become a statue. Whatever the two of you decide to do, just know that I approve of him. It is up to Leonard to decide if he wants to join this crazy family. My grandmothers are witches and a toad, husband a demon, and my mother is a...well," Amelia trailed off, not certain what her mother was now.

"Amelia," Anne said, warning her to stop now. " Leonard and I are merely catching up. I told you it is not what you think. We are not in the past and look how different I am."

Amelia looked at Leonard who stared back at her. She doubted her mother’s current appearance bothered Leonard. The soul was still the same. "The two of you have grown to figure it out at some point. You should continue to catch up with each other."

"You called me here," Leonard reminded Amelia. He saw right through what she was doing and he was not upset with it. There were a lot of questions he needed to be answered by Anne. Also, he wanted to know what Amelia meant by having a toad for a grandmother.

"Did I? I can’t remember what I called you here so I think you should speak with my mother. Lilith, the queen of hell, and I were just about to visit Fraser so I will have to leave our conversation to another time. Goodbye," Amelia said, waving to the two as she tugged on Lilith’s hands to get her to leave with her.

"I don’t recall us planning to visit-"

Amelia covered Lilith’s mouth to shut her up. "She’s forgetful sometimes. We won’t be back anytime soon so please have a long healthy conversation about what you two plan to be in the future. Remember, I am all for it. I will try to keep anyone from bothering you. Stop fighting me, Lilith."

Anne worried about Amelia dragging Lilith away from the throne, but at the same time, she was happy to see Amelia be so close to another young lady. "That child is something else. I fear she might not go too far and spy on us. My tower is ruined, but do you mind us talking there?"

"I do not mind," Leonard replied, stepping back to give Anne space to walk first.

"You forget that I am not the queen anymore for you to need to walk behind me. We can walk side by side but we must be quick. I fear what my mothers might do if they see me talking to you again."
