Chapter 84: [Bonus Chapter]Picnic

Rhys blinked as his brain tried to process what the fuck had happened.

Did she just....Damn. His little mouse was sly than he gave her credit for.

Given her virgin status and her inexperience he was shocked when she initiated this.

He felt her tucked him back into his briefs, pulled his pants back up before fixing his belts. She leaned back in her seat, her eyes glowing with amusement.

Oh so she found this funny huh? She had let him have a taste of heaven then dropped him into hell.

He was so fucking close to release—-being close to orgasm and being denying of it was the worst pain..

He was so fucking hard his cock could almost punched a hole through his pants.

If she wanted to play this game with him he could play it better. His lips pulled into a devious smile as he glanced at her.

"If that’s what you want, then let’s get it." He saw the uncertainty in her eyes. Probably this wasn’t the reaction she was expecting.

His lips pulled up into a smirk as he parked the car and went to buy her the Iced latte that she wanted.

"Thank you!" She said excitedly as she took a sip of the latte moaning in satisfaction.

"Is that good, Beatrix ?" he asked calmly.

She looked at him cautiously, swallowing the tea and nodded slowly.

Rhys glanced at her and hummed in acknowledgement as he started the car back to the road.

"Enjoy it then, you’d better hope that was worth it baby." He whispered dangerously.

She shuddered and nodded.

He could see that she was nervous about the consequences of her action. And she should be because once he was done with her, she would regret playing games with him.

They drove in silence as he hummed along the metal music playing on the radio.

"Can you please turn it down" she finally said, breaking the silence.

Rhys turned it down but still left it on.

"That music is terrible." Beatrix said.

Rhys chuckled and shrugged, "No it’s not, it’s pretty cool. I would love to know your opinion on good music"

He glanced at her and smiled at how beautiful she looked with the breeze blowing through her hair.

She reached one hand up and pushed her hair back. Fucking gorgeous.

"Well I like RnB songs and pop music." She replied.

"Of course you do," he chuckled

"What is wrong with listening to this genre of music? It’s so good you could hear the emotions from the singers and occasionally I relate to some of the lyrics."

"Hmm.... I see"

Beatrix nodded, "So how long until we reach where we are going?"

"We are almost there."

He replied as he turned the car off a gravel road. Rhys turned off the music so the only noise was the gravel crunching beneath the tires.

As they got closer to their destination he couldn’t help but get nervous. Maybe this was a terrible idea.

He had no idea what he was doing but Google said this was good. He hoped she liked it.

"Rhys....." she called him, snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Hmm?" He replied

"What are we going to do here?" She asked him as he parked the car under a tree.

"Come on, you will see." He knew she was curious why he had brought her in the middle of nowhere.

There were yellow wildflowers littering the land, and the breeze was perfectly warm. It was the perfect spot for what he had planned for the day.

She eyed him, slowly undoing her belt and getting out of the car.

Rhys got down too and walked around to the trunk with Beatrix following him.

"Okay....so—I—-" he trailed off while he opened the trunk of the car.

Beatrix blinked and her voice shook slightly as she pointed to the stuff in the trunk. There were blankets, pillows, cooler bags.

"Why do you have these?" She questioned.

Rhys pulled his lip ring into his mouth while he scratched his head, "Well.... For a picnic?"

He replied unsure of what to say.

"So technically a date?" She asked, her eyes glistening with excitement.

"If that’s what you want to call it. I just wanted to do something to make you happy."

He massaged the back of his neck, rolling his lips inside his mouth as he watched a smile graced her face.

"So you planned all this for me?" She asked in giddy disbelief.

Rhys flushed slightly and nodded, "Yeah....do you like it? I don’t know what else to do. I goggled and they gave me options. I chose a picnic."

Beatrix raised her brows at him again, stepping towards him as she tilted her head still smiling

"Really?"

He looked down at the ground before he replied, "Yeah."

Beatrix beamed, "Wow Rhys. This is really sweet of you!"

He looked up to her, a smile gracing his lips.

"Don’t think your sweet compliments will let me forget what you did in the car." He raised an eyebrow at her as he moved closer to her.

Beatrix let out a mirthless laugh as she stepped back.

"Well.....about that....sorry?"

Rhys pursed his lips, shaking his head in a slow taunting manner as he tilted it to the side,

"You would have to do more than just apologize, love. I’m not forgiving you."

Her big green doe eyes opened wide and her lip quivered.

"Even if I promise to make it up to you?"

Rhys snorted and he leaned his face into hers, darting his eyes between hers with a serious expression.

"Oh and how are you planning on doing that?"

Beatrix flushed, "Well I will finish what I started?"

Rhys chuckled and pulled away, "Don’t worry love, you had your chance. It’s my turn next. Once I’m done with you, you will know exactly how I felt."

Beatrix stared at him and swallowed nervously.

Rhys grabbed the pillows and blankets and cooler bag out of the trunk, closing it with his elbow and stepped back to her, with a cheeky knowing smirk.

"You know...I have been really nice to you so you have become naughty. I guess it’s time we changed that."

*******

Rhys walked Beatrix towards a big willow tree and started spreading the picnic mat on the grass. She watched him work, and it was sort of amusing because he looked like he had never done a thing in his life.

Beatrix decided to help him. After they were done, they sat down together. He started preparing plates of cakes, fruits, and cookies over the mat. He even brought a small ice cooler with different juices and water.

She knew he couldn’t cook so how did he come up with all of these?

"So who helped you with all of these?" Beatrix asked as she took a bit of a cookie.

"The cook. She helped me prepare all of these. Told her I was taking a girl out for a picnic. What should I bring?"

Beatrix chuckled, "And she didn’t ask who this special girl is?"

Rhys shrugged, "I think she knows it’s you, love. She said she was sure I would win your heart by the end of the date. Especially with this cake."

Rhys held a piece of strawberry mousse cake to her .

She opened her mouth and moaned at the taste. She had never tasted anything like this for a very long time.

"Wow...this is so good!"

Rhys smiled, "Really?"

"Yeah, try it too."

Rhys hesitated for a moment but took a bite.

"Yeah, too sweet. I’m going to have diabetes after this."

Beatrix laughed at his silliness.

They just laze around on the blankets and pillows, eating and laughing.

Rhys was sharing some interesting life stories with her and she was happy that he was happy.

He looked so carefree and there was such a childlike innocence to what they were doing, arguing and teasing each other.

"Do you still have that camera I gave you?" Rhys asked Beatrix.

"Yep. I still have the camera and the pictures. It’s locked safe in my room at my father’s house."

Rhys’ lips pulled up into a satisfying smile, "Why didn’t you get rid of it?"

Beatrix shrugged, "Nothing. I guess I was hoping that someday I will meet you again. I didn’t want to throw those beautiful memories away."

"You know..." he began slowly, turning his head back to stare back up at the clouds going over them.

"I thought I could forget you. But I couldn’t. You were too good for me, love. Then when I came back and saw you with Damien, I was hurt. Out of all the people in the world, why did it have to be you?

I was going to steal you from him then ruin you. Because I was fucking angry at myself for letting you go. If I can’t have you, no one else can.

Also—your father...." He trailed off

He glanced at her, clearing his throat and his voice became soft as he looked thoughtful again

"But then Damien talked to me. He promised to leave you for me because he knew how much you mean to me. But I could see how much you mean to him too. I have never seen him as happy as he is when he is with you.

All his life, he has been sacrificing himself for me. I couldn’t steal his only happiness from him too even though I was planning too.

So I thought maybe, maybe this is the universe’s way of compensating us brothers, giving us a beautiful woman so why don’t we both keep you."

He leaned up, turning on his side as he leaned on his elbow to look down at her, and she smiled up at him.

"But I’m scared, love, I’m afraid once I consume you. I will be selfish and ruin you. Even though that was the initial plan.

Spending time with you, made me realize that I’m not the one who is going to ruin you. You’re going to be the one to ruin me.

I have never cared or want to spend time with anyone so bad. I have always carried my burdens alone and never shared it with anyone but with you I want to do all of that and it confuses the shit out of me."

He turned to look at her and seeing the lost emotion in his eyes she couldn’t help but grab him by the head and kiss him.
