Ning Family’s faces changed. It seemed they really knew what they had taken. Their faces were showing the faces of reluctant.

He was asking the people who followed Ning Huizhong today. He knew that the people who followed him today did not steal anything from the beast. Meaning it must be people who were with Ning Huizhong.

"Why are you asking us that question? You can just kill the beast. And it will be over." Ning Zhilan shouted replying to the Xie Family.

"Yeah. You clearly can kill the beast. Just kill it." Ning Huizhong also agreed with his younger sister.

He stayed behind the people.

She signalled her family to step away from the beast. Seeing no one blocking its path, the beast rushed toward Ning Family. Ning’s Family was screaming. The beast approached Ning Huizhong at an alarming speed.

Ning Huizhong, without any thought, pushed someone from his family to block the beast. The beast did not take it well, raised its paw and struck the person. The person was stunned. He did not have time to react to the attack. He could not stop the attack. So, the bloody wound appeared on his chest. He fell to the ground.

"Brother Jiang!!!" A girl rushed to the man’s side. "Brother Jiang... Brother Jiang..."

The girl took out an elixir letting the man drink it. The blood finally stopped. She was relieved.

Bai Xifeng caught the scent of the elixir. Looks like it was her elixir that had been sold to Shanghai Pavillion.
