"I have no idea before. My father really wants me to be the heir. To be honest, I don’t think I will win competing with you." Ning Jianguo sighed.

"Brother Jianguo, you are the suitable candidate to be the heir." Ning Shoukai stated. "Please, don’t let someone like Huizhong take the place." He added.

"I heard my name being mentioned." Ning Huizhong joined the conversation. "I heard something like the heir. First Brother, you cannot be talking with an outsider about our family matter. Ning Shoukai, you don’t have the right to talk about OUR FAMILY MATTER."

Ning Zhilan was still pestering Bai Xifeng. She wanted to talk more with Bai Xifeng but Bai Xifeng ignored her and kept talking with Xie Lanying and Xie Qingge.

"The sky had turned dark. We should camp here." Xie Yanlin suggested.

"Yes." Xie Lanying nodded.

Xie Yanlin told Xie’s Family members that they are going to stay here. Ning’s Family was nearby. Bai Xifeng told them to make the camp slightly far from Ning Family. Without wasting any time, Bai Xifeng immediately set up an array formation blocking anyone from entering their space. It was for their safety as well as her safety.

Looked like Ning Zhilan still not giving up on Bai Xifeng. So, to prevent Ning Zhilan from disturbing her at night, she set up the array. Everyone was preparing for dinner. The meat from last night was still available. So, they just needed to cook that.

Ning Family smelled the food. They walked following the track of the smell before they could not continue anymore. There was something blocking their path.

"What is this?" One of Ning’s Family members was banging the invisible wall.

"Why can’t we continue?" Another one asked.

"We can see the Xie Family over there." Someone stated.

"It is an array formation." Ning Jianguo stated.

"What? How could there be an array here?"

"Yes, it is impossible. Xie Family did not have a Master Array."

"The answer lies on that outsider." Ning Jianguo said.

"He is just a young boy."

"Are you sure about that?" Ning Jianguo asked.

Everyone was silent.

"Since they placed an array here, let’s not disturb them." Ning Jianguo said.

Ning Huizhong glared at the Xie Family. If he knew that the young boy was this talented, he would try to be friends with him.

Bai Xifeng thought it would be a peaceful night. However, right before, she could sleep, they heard a scream echoing through the night. They stood up and looked around. The scream was very loud. It seemed it was nearby.

Ning Shoukai seemed to be worried. How could he not be worried? Ning’s family was nearby, and it seemed the scream came from them.
