The Rich Cultivator
Chapter 84. Blood Cave Garden

Chapter 84: 84. Blood Cave Garden

Blood Cave Garden, situated within the ominous depths of the Crimson Blood Cave, is a relic of profound significance brought to the sect by the top elders a few decades ago. Nestled near the base of the mountain, this garden is not just a physical space but a potent nexus of mystical energy and ancient cultivation secrets.

The Crimson Blood Cave itself is a place of both dread and awe. Emitting a distinctive blood aura, this cave has the unique property of tempering the bodies of mortals, enhancing their physical strength and resilience. The air inside the cave is thick with this aura, which seeps into the skin, bones, and marrow of those who venture within. Over time, the blood aura stimulates rapid physiological changes, fortifying the body and accelerating the cultivation process. This transformative power is what makes the Crimson Blood Cave an invaluable asset to the sect.

Within the cave anyone can see plants and vines growing across them . These plants have adapted to the cave’s unique environment, thriving in the presence of the blood aura. They exhibit unusual properties, each imbued with the essence of the cave. Some plants possess medicinal qualities, capable of healing severe injuries and replenishing qi, while others have more aggressive characteristics, used in crafting potent elixirs and weapon coatings.

The fauna within the Blood Cave Garden is equally remarkable. Various beasts and insects, some unique to the cave, roam and flutter about. These creatures have similarly adapted to the blood aura, resulting in species with enhanced strength, speed, and sometimes even rudimentary intelligence. The symbiotic relationship between the flora and fauna in the cave creates a delicate yet powerful ecosystem, each component playing a crucial role in the overall balance.

Recognizing the immense value of the Blood Cave Garden, the sect has instituted a structured regimen to harness its benefits for training its young members. Children, under the watchful eye of a seasoned disciple, are sent into the cave regularly. These expeditions serve multiple purposes: they provide the children with firsthand exposure to the cave’s tempering effects, teach them about the potent plants and creatures within, and instil a sense of discipline and survival skills crucial for their development as cultivators.

The disciple who accompanies the children is tasked with ensuring their safety, guiding their cultivation practices, and imparting knowledge about the cave’s unique properties. This mentoring process is critical, as the blood aura can be as dangerous as it is beneficial. Mismanagement or overexposure can lead to severe consequences, including physical damage or qi deviation. Therefore, the disciple’s role is both protective and educational, balancing the children’s exposure to ensure maximum benefit with minimal risk.

Everyone needs a small charm to stay in the Blood Cave for an hour. A person will get ten talismans per visit. These charms are intricately crafted by the sect’s elders, inscribed with runes that channel protective energy to shield the wearer from the overwhelming effects of the blood aura.

Tyler arrived at the entrance of the Blood Cave Garden, where a few disciples were gathered, discussing something important. Tyler was anxious inside; he had heard that Silvia was missing. He remembered that someone had targeted Silvia before. Since she became an official disciple, he thought there would be no problem. But it seemed Tyler had underestimated the situation.

"Due to a certain incident, the Blood Cave Garden is closed for a few days. Please come later," a female disciple said.

"My sister went missing inside," Tyler said.

The female disciple understood, and after sensing no aura in him, she said in an uninterested tone, "Yup, along with her, nineteen children and an official disciple went missing. We are investigating, and only people from Law Enforcement are allowed."

"Let me in," Tyler said, showing his badge to the female disciple.

The female disciple immediately changed her tone to a respectful one and said, "Oh... yes... I will bring the charms."

The female disciple thought that Tyler was someone with a big background because he had joined the Law Enforcement. It was not easy to join Law Enforcement, and it was even more difficult if the person had yet to cultivate aura.

Tyler understood that the charms mentioned by the girl were talismans. He used to buy lots of talismans in his previous world. One had to be a Rune Master to make those charms.

"Here are 30 charms, enough for 30 hours." The female disciple respectfully gave him small green charms made of sea shells with many runes drawn on them. She also gave him a map that would make it easier for Tyler to navigate inside. Tyler thanked her and headed inside.

Inside the Blood Cave Garden, Tyler navigated through the dark tunnel. But it was dark only to a certain distance. There were many vines and plants circling around the dark passage, the flowers glowing in the red colour which gives the different Atmosphere to the cave.

Tyler heard the water flowing sound. According to the map it is called Noisy Riverless. It means this certain area creates the sound of a river even though there is no water source at all.

As he ventured deeper, he noticed markings on the walls that matched those on his map. They led him to a secluded part of the cave. He also noticed that some sort of energy is trying to enter his pores. The green charm in his hand glows a little and absorbs all the energy that is trying to penetrate him inside.

Tyler reached the marked place faster. It is the place where the children disappeared.

"Who is this?" Suddenly he heard a sound.

"Huh..." Tyler saw a man walking towards him. He is wearing a red shade uniform which means he is an official Disciples.

"Are you also here for the lost kids?" The man asked.

Tyler nodded, he even showed the Badge.

Hyur nodded and told him to wait for a minute.

He closed his eyes and carefully sensed his surroundings. Then he opened his eyes and sighed, "Still no clues."

He was trying to find the missing children. He sent two small insects to fly inside holes to see if there were any secret passages where the children got locked.

"Hello, I am Hyur. I am the disciple in incharge of those children today. But suddenly the cave displacement happened and everyone disappeared." Hyur said.

"Hello, I am White. What’s a cave displacement?" He asked.

"The Tunnels inside this cave change direction from this point onwards. " He said

"Oh that’s why the map stops here." Tyler said.

The cave displacement is a phenomenon in the Blood Cave Garden where passages move or bend to different directions and lead the people somewhere.

Some displacement can be predicted easily and can take measures accordingly. But some are pretty dangerous and suddenly it might lead them to unexplored areas or to powerful monsters.

Tyler hoped that Silvia was alright. He teamed up with Hyur to find some clues.

Five Hours passed like that.

Hyur offered some food. But Tyler politely refused and ate the fasting pill he had. He has no appetite to eat.

Soon Hyur and Tyler found some hollow passage behind some walls. Hyur broke the walls with ease. Tyler understood that Hyur is atleast 5 star Novice Warrior and verge on becoming Elite Warrior.

"Let’s try every path, we might be able to find them." Hyur eyes lit up as he moved forward. Tyler followed him behind.

After Tyler left, the female disciple walked back to her place. She looked at the man who was sitting and eating something.

"I gave him the map where it marked the specific location just as you mentioned. What will happen to him?" she asked.

"What? Did you get charmed by his appearance? He does have a look that makes girls scream daddy. Hahaha..." If Tyler were here, he would recognize this man instantly. He was the official disciple who had been tied up by Tyler during the trial.

The female disciple just stared at him.

"Blood Cave Garden has many opportunities, but it is also a dangerous cave. He might die ’accidentally’ inside," the man said.

"He is from the Law Enforcement Department. They might investigate if he is found dead," the girl warned. She felt pity if Tyler died there.

"Yup, that’s the problem. That’s why I am stopping right here. It’s up to Hyur whatever he wants to do," the man replied. He was so afraid of Lily Gomes.

Hyur was the guy who had made a deal with the outsider to get Silvia. He waited for Lily to leave and hatched this plan. He wanted to capture Silvia in the cave and kidnap her. But it looked like something went wrong. The man still didn’t know why Hyur trapped twenty children along with the little girl. He then messaged him to lure Tyler inside.

"This is the last time I will help him," He said as he left. The girl just sighed. Well it’s true if something happened inside they can escape with an excuse.
