Chapter 60: 60. Arrival

"This Guy is showing off a lot." Fairy Ember Fox mumbled. She was surprised a little by his growth. But that’s all.

In the Arena, the next battle started. Unlike the previous battle, it was a little booring. So the audience didn’t show much interest in that.

On the big screen it shows the elimination bracket.

This image depicts a single-elimination tournament bracket for 10 teams. In a single-elimination format, each team plays a match against another team, and the loser is eliminated from the tournament. The winner advances to the next round.

- The winner of this match is declared the tournament champion.

The bracket ensures that all matches are organised, and teams are progressively eliminated until a single winner remains.

Tyler White Team is one of the teams that got Bye. They were selected by their performance from their previous session. The team they fought was also the team that got Byes. Unfortunately they got eliminated.

The Ling Tian Team didn’t get the bye, because they were thrown in the loser bracket after the first session.

Now their opponents are a team that uses poison. Poison users are very lethal. Poison users are a unique subset of cultivators who specialise in the use of toxins for combat, defence, and sometimes healing. They possess extensive knowledge of various poisons, antidotes, and the medicinal properties of herbs.

Ella went first.

The opponent threw some Needles towards Ella she swiftly dodged. Those Needle pierced were emitting smoke by the poison coated.

Ella quickly retreated. Because the opponent then threw a ball. The ball blasted, making a small green cloud. Those clouds of smoke have many poisons in it. The opponent used a fan and blew those smoke towards Ella.

But Ella disappeared suddenly. The opponent looked around in confusion. He looked up and saw Ella.

Ella, who is flying towards him, used the giant hammer to slam the ground which sent the opponent flying. But Ella suddenly fell down, because of Poison. Both of them were sent to the Healers’ side.

Yumina took the stage. She easily dodged and attacked the opponent. She used a Gauntlet to attack the opponent with energy bullets. She won easily and gave up on the next round.

"This girl is good. She just needs to learn to fly and glide." Fairy Fierce Cloud said. Her attack techniques are also unique. It piqued her interest.

Soon it was Ling Tian’s turn. He was so fast, the opponent couldn’t even catch him. The opponent is using a blade coated with poison. Ling Tian will get knocked out if the blade even touches a little.

Ling Tian footsteps are like wind. He himself is a Fire and Wind User. When he used Fire, he suddenly ignited the place around him because his opponent used a particular flammable gas to spread around. Because of this he only used Wind attacks along with his sword attacks. The sword pierced the opponent’s shoulder.

Now it is the Semifinals. The opponent of Ling Tian Team is Tyler White’s Team. Both Teams are eagerly waiting to face each other. Ling Tian just wanted to defeat Tyler. He wanted to know who is strongest among them.

Tyler was still thinking who would be the fastest if he used another mode.

The Semifinals will start the next day. Somehow they reached the Top 4. The price for Top 4 might be so grand. The participants are expecting. Other two teams who reached the Top 4 are people from the Eternal Sect and another random sect from the west.

Mana suddenly appeared while Tyler was deep in meditation. Glancing at Tyler, she noticed a pile of snacks on the table. With a mischievous grin, she snatched them up and began to munch on them as she floated through the various rooms of the house. Passing by each door, she observed the different scenes unfolding within. She spotted the Lan Couples, who were also engrossed in their meditation, and quickly lost interest, feeling bored by their unwavering concentration.

Continuing her journey, Mana came across Priscilla, who was in the middle of a conversation with Yu Meixue. Priscilla seemed to be explaining something intently, her voice a soft murmur. As if sensing an unfamiliar presence, Yu Meixue glanced sharply in Mana’s direction. Startled by Yu Meixue’s penetrating gaze, Mana froze momentarily before deciding to retreat. With a shiver, she fled back down the hall.

"That beautiful sister is scary," she mumbled under her breath, still shaken by the encounter.

Meanwhile, Priscilla continued her conversation with Yu Meixue. "Senior Sister, I heard that two people are allowed to stand beside the participants to spectate. Junior Brother Tyler has given us those two spots," she explained.

Yu Meixue simply nodded in acknowledgment. Her taciturn nature didn’t surprise Priscilla, who was accustomed to her senior sister’s quiet demeanour. Accepting the nod as encouragement, Priscilla smoothly transitioned the topic to other matters, filling the silence with her chatter.

Mana floated back to her room, her earlier excitement subdued. The Secret Realm was filled with powerful figures, and the prospect of encountering more intimidating individuals like Yu Meixue deterred her from further exploration. She decided it was safer to stay put, lest she run into more trouble.

The following day

The Semifinals they were waiting for has arrived.

As dawn broke on the following day, the much-anticipated Semifinals had finally arrived, stirring excitement and anticipation among the spectators and competitors alike.

The opening match featured the formidable Eternal Sect facing off against a rival team from the western region. In a display of dominance, the disciples of the Eternal Sect swiftly overwhelmed their opponents, securing victory with ease in the blink of an eye.

As the dust settled from the first match, attention turned to the upcoming clash between Tyler White’s Team and Ling Tian’s formidable contenders. In the tense atmosphere of the waiting area, Priscilla, like a seasoned strategist, took charge, offering invaluable advice to Tyler and his companions. With rapt attention, Tyler and his teammates absorbed every word, eager to glean any advantage they could in preparation for the crucial battle ahead.

"We are applying for a group fight," Ling Tian announced, his gaze steady as he locked eyes with Tyler, conveying both determination and strategy in his words.

Tyler’s initial surprise gave way to a thoughtful nod of understanding. "We agree," he responded, recognizing the tactical advantage of a group confrontation against their formidable opponent.

In accordance with the tournament’s rules, teams had the option to request a group fight under certain circumstances. With both parties in agreement, the stage was set for an intense showdown, where teamwork and strategy would prove paramount in determining the victor.

Tyler and Lan Couples walked on the platform. Same goes for Ling Tian and the girls.

Both of them looked at each other. Lan Xuero locked her eyes on Ella. Lan Yi locked his eyes on Yumina.

Tyler and Ling Tian just looked at each other. They are waiting for the countdown to end.

"Lets go according to plan." Tyler said.

"Mode: " Tyler was about to use his new move. Suddenly the whole secret realm shook.

Everyone was panicking. "Is this an earthquake?"

"Silence!" Eternal Sect Master said calmly. But everyone heard it clearly and calmed down. Eternal Sect Master, Daoist Frozen Heaven, Fairy Fierce Cloud and other sect masters looked at the platform.

"He is here." Daoist Frozen Heaven said.

Suddenly a green jade flying carriage suddenly streaked across the sky, circling around before coming to a stop in front of Tyler.

A middle-aged man walked out of the carriage. Tyler tried to look at him but his eyes were burning just by looking at him.
