Chapter 59: 59. Saber, Sword and Ice vs Earth

Their first opponent is some team from a Random Sect from the south. They have this powerful presence.

"Junior brother, any plan?" Lan Couples asked. Tyler thought for a moment and said, "There is something I wanted to try."

Yesterday He raised some issues with Yu Meixue about his Cultivation for guidance. He experienced slight discomfort when practising the movement techniques in different ways.

Yu Meixue spent half the day teaching; she explained some parts and deliberately left others somewhat ambiguous to allow Tyler White to ponder on his own.

Unlike before, Today’s fight is One vs One. Each Team will send one person to compete, if the person gets defeated, his teammate will take his place and continue the fight. If the person wins, he will fight the next opponent. This will continue until the last team stands.

Lan Yi moved forward, the blades spinning around him easily sliced the enemies boulders. He quickly arrived before his opponent and jumped up, his blade slashed, sending his opponent flying.

"Nope... It’s totally wrong.. He messed up at the last second." Lan Xuero sighed.

Tyler looked at Lan Yi in confusion. He doesn’t understand their combat attacks that much. But it seems senior brother Lan Yi failed successfully.

Lan Xuero vanished. Her opponent panicked and used sand to cover himself but it was too late. Lan Xuero was already in his front. He was lifted up by a force as Lan Xuero also jumped before him. She used her sword to slash swiftly five times. Each sword orb disappeared when she slashed.

The opponent fell to the ground with main injuries. He couldn’t move.

Unlike Lan Yi, Lan Xuero still has some energy left. She was able to use the move perfectly. She looked at Tyler and showed victory signs.

The final opponent arrived. Lan Xuero readied her sword.

"Be careful Senior Sister." Tyler said.

"Don’t worry. Who knows I might be able to finish this fight in a couple of seconds." Lan Xuero said smugly.

Few seconds later. She was placed near her husband for the treatment. Lan Xuero felt her face burning in embarrassment. She really did finish her fight in a couple of seconds. But she was the one who got knocked out.

Tyler entered the arena. He is a little nervous. It is the first fight before all of the people.

He stood there and looked at the opponent. It seems like they are from the sect that specialise in Earth Elements. Because this one is also some kind of Earth Elemental Spirit root. But he is not sure what category it is.

For example, his Ice Elemental Spirit roots are made by never melting ice. So the ice produced by himself will have some of the properties of never melting ice. It is like a fire element Cultivator using different types of fires. Other element Cultivators can also use different types of elements in their respective categories.

Stones, sands and dust began to gather and launched at Tyler as waves. He is using the same technique that he used on senior sister Lan Xuero to defeat her.

His opponent understood he had been tricked. He used a lot of energy just to defend himself. Out of rage he attacked Tyler with Earth spikes. It pierced Tyler. But Tyler turned into an ice statue and shattered.

The opponent was confused, at that time the ground Below him turned black.

Brain Freeze

He used spiritual attack. The opponent clutched his head in pain. Suddenly Tyler appeared before him, red light appeared on his hand. A wall appeared between them to block. But Tyler didn’t care and punched. His fist broke the wall and landed on his opponent who was sent flying with mouth full of blood.
